Jim Dalton came out within a few days of initial contact to survey the job. He was well prepared and asked a ton of questions regarding the scope of the job, the time frame we had in mind and all of the finish details required for our remodel. He told me a date of when he would have his comprehensive bid, and we set an appt to go over the bid. It was very  thorough and within our price range. He offered suggestions on how to save money in certain areas, and opinions on how to tackle some of the odd angles in our basement. We agreed on the price and details and he gave me a start date of approximately 1 week later to start the job. The permit process took a long time, (through no fault of Jim's), and we were delayed by approximately a week.  The communication from the city's end was the problem, and Jim was graceful and professional, although i could tell he was frustrated. After the permit process was done and over with, Jim started work. He was always punctual, and he was in constant contact regarding the process and timeframe. Jim worked consistently until the basement was finished. Everything he did was very professional, and the basement looks amazing. We took a completely bare basement and now have about 850sf of finished space with a tv/ entertainment area, a rec area, a bar area, exercise room, a storage room and a half bath. We are delighted to use our new space and were grateful that we had a pleasant experience.

I had Jim out to give me an estimate on both the door and the deck. He arrived exactly on time and was very courteous and professional. I thought the estimate was reasonable and so I arranged for him to do the work. The side garage door frame proved to be more of a pain than I think he expected, but the end result was top quality workmanship. PVC frame so no more rot ever. I couldn't be happier with it. The deck job took 2 1/2 days as he said it would. First he powerwashed it and then it had to dry for a day or two. He returned when dry and took the next couple days staining it. End result was beautiful. Its like a new deck. Extremely professional job. He definitely is concerned about performing quality work and it shows.
