Don was great. Came on time for estimate, inspected areas and made recommendations. Work was done within a couple of days of signing the proposal. Agreed to do work for what the insurance company paid. Never saw the roofers, they did the work while I was at work. His son did the interior paint and was friendly and professional.

The estimator called when I expected, told me that he was nearby and asked if I could meet him in 30 minutes. He arrived on time and I explained the problem. He proposed a solution of removing the shingles, installing ice & water shield, flashing, etc. He gave me a written proposal with prices. I also asked him about adding additional insulation to the attic. He told me that his company didn't do that, but could recommend some reputable companies that did. I obtained estimates from two other sources. All estimates were pretty close. I decided to go with the one in the middle. I didn't end up picking Don Snider for this particular job, but I will definitely call them back in the future if I need their services. It also helped that the company I picked also did attic insulation.

Came out promptly and gave estimate, sched. service but cancelled and said they completed teh work. Called me to get payment over the phone by credit card before I inspected the work. The work that I requested was not performed. No 2% discount offered.

"Don Snider Roofing strives to make all customers happy and their experience with us a very positive one, I apologize to see that you was noot happy with our company but I would like to say that at the time while this job was on the schedule we had treacherous rain for several days then ontop of that we then had snow. As our contract states payment is due upon completion but we understand if the homeowner is not home at the time, so we wait 5 business days and if we still have not received payment we will make a courteous reminder call and we do like to let our customers know that we can except payment by credit card and alot of homeowners are please to find that out. When we got the call that there was some of the work not completed we immediately sent a crew back out there to make sure all the work was completed 100%. Also as far as the 2% discount, we gladly give all Angie List Members that discount but we need to know they are a member, if the homeowner does not mention this to us we have no way of knowing. We want all of Angie List Members to know Don Snider Roofing takes pride in all of our work and all of our employees are very professional. If there is anything we can do please feel free to call the office."

This is the 2nd time I have used Don Snider Roofing. The office staff is courteous, the estimator was detailed in his proposal nd the workmanship of the roofer was of the highest quality.

I had significant wind damage ont eh roof of our home, causing damage to the ceiling inside the home as well. Don Snider roofing was very prompt in coming out and gving me an estimate. I also got estimates from 2 other company's. I had a couple of questions on tings and he was very courteous and helpful. he also told me one thing that another company was going to add, and he didn't have on his estimate was because it was a big money maker for the roofing company, and that my home didn't need it. I appreciated his honesty, and his price came in the lowest. Once I contracted with them, they were at the house less tahn a week later and got the roof done in one day. I am very happy with it, and the price and service.

It went very well. They did an excellent job! From the delivery of the materials to arriving on the job, to completing the roof, they were great. On time, very polite, very respectful and considerate. Very glad we chose them for the job. Thanks for all the previous reports on Angie's List!

Estimator came out as promised and left a professional proposal in mailbox. Office called several days later to follow up if we wanted work done. The work was scheduled and the crew came as promised. The work that was done was professional and I am thoroughly satisfied. I needed a better paid receipt to satisfy closing on the house (I added additional work to initial proposal and needed it called out) and they immediately fulfilled my request and e-mailed a new paid receipt. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The estimate was was the lowest and we went with them based on other reviews from Angies List. Entire job was done in 1 day which was great but speed is not always most important. There were several items that required a 2nd visit and a LOT of nails left behind in flower beds and grass. They only did a magnetic roller, nobody walked around with magnetic wand to try and pick up loose nails. They did put down tarps but doesn't do much good when they are ripped or torn. Disappointed that the experience didn't match the reviews we had read online.

Due to the weather the roof replacement took a little longer than I expected but the end quality of the work was excellent. The price was not the best estimate I had received but was competitive. The gutter guards were added in all within the price of the insurance settlement. The only very minor complaint would be the post-repair clean-up. I was finding roofing nails around the house and yard for quite a while after the work was done.

They work was completed for the most part in one day (Saturday) although some of the crew (including the foreman) came back to walk the roof and fix any issues. Overall, I was really pleased with Don, his wife and their company. Nice people and a please to deal with.

It went very well. Don came out and gave my wife an estimate. We had to fax it back and that was it. They did a good job on the roof. My only complaint is that they showed up with no notice. My wife walked out one morning and found them on the roof working. It was prompt service and seems to be holding up well, so, that's a small nit as far an i am concerned.

The crew did a good job with the tear-off and installation of the new roof. Clean up of roofing debris was also mostly well done, except I did find about thirty roofing nails in the gutters (almost all of these nails were in a bunch in one location). Don said he would talk to his crew to make sure they were aware of leaving the nails behind. I was not satisfied with the appearance of the flashing as the color was not complementary to the new shingles. Don told me that they only use brown, grey or green, but if I wanted to buy paint to match the shingles he would send a couple of men out to re-paint the flashing. I was also not happy with a large section of the flashing on the roof not being covered by shingles. Don pointed out that covering the flashing on the roof completely with shingles is not a correct installation, but did agree that too much flashing was visible and agreed to have his men install another section of shingles to better cover the exposed flashing.

Don Snider came to the house to do the estimate in a timely manner. After giving us the estimate, we called him twice with additional questions. He answered as many questions as we could think of and gave us more detail than some other roofers. He also came to the house again to show me in person what the shingle colors looked like. His men had the roof re-done in less than one day. The appearance and installation of the roof are great. 99.9% of the debris was cleared away (we did find small shingle bits and some nails, but our yard was covered with leaves and the debris would have been hard to find). We did have one issue, however, our gutter guards were reinstalled in several different ways, and one was lost. My husband had to go on the roof and reinstall some of the gutter guards correctly. One was installed incorrectly and cemented in, so we could not reinstall it correctly.
