He kept checking in during the process, instead of disappearing after the sale. The HBC work crew was fabulous. They worked efficiently, minimized the amount of dust getting upstairs, and cleaned up well at the end of every day. They took in stride some hidden issues that showed up in the basement and took the time to fix them correctly. We are so pleased with the result.

I had an odor coming from my crawl space and thought water was getting in through the foundation and call Healthy Basement Concepts. Jason was able to stop by within 24 hours and he automatically saw that my Radon Migration system was not working and he checked the breaker and determined the fan was not working and that was causing the odor. Also, when we went outside to check the radon unit, I had water lying near my foundation and he could tell that my underground drains were clogged up after checking the downspouts and the street access point. I am very grateful that Jason stopped by and was able to determine my problem(s). He is very professional and friendly and I would definitely call on him if I ever have an issue in my crawl space.

This project was to stabilize a bowed foundation wall with a horizontal shear as is common with old bank barns. The anchor system that Jason recommended is a great solution without having to separate the barn structure from the foundation and then tear out and rebuild. He and his team provided excellent service. They were consistently on time, communicated well, and completed the job as expected. Every project will vary in cost due to the unique conditions but I checked a few options and Healthy Basement Concepts provided good value for the solution and services provided.

Contacted Jason about my perceived crawlspace needs. He scheduled an appointment for a few days later. Jason showed up on time and listened to my concerns. Professionally evaluated my crawlspace problems, thoroughly answering each of my questions and providing multiple options and suggestions outlining the pros and cons of each. When we reached a decision on what I needed and wanted, he spent an hour at my kitchen table working out a plan and cost. He said he could start on a specific date that was agreeable to me and we signed the contract. Jason kept me updated that he was on schedule and his crew of 6 showed up on the date agreed, ready to work. His crew was fantastic. A team that worked well together and knew what they were doing. I’d highly recommend Healthy Basement Concepts to anyone needing their services. We had reached out to another contractor, who basically said that we needed the same services that HBC said. But the difference was this – From start to finish, the owner (Jason) took extra time to make sure our issues would be resolved without high-pressure sales and with an empathic approach that really showed he listened and cared about his customers. The overall service was great. They weren’t intrusive, finished the work quickly, and kept us updated throughout the process. Jason even made several appearances to ensure high quality standards were being met. Even afterwards, Jason was available via text messages and phone calls for after-sales support. As a new first-time homeowner, I had many questions and Jason supported me even after the services were finished. Jason came first to estimate the job. They came back when he said they would. He crew worked diligently until finished. When he came back to settle the bill, we both noticed more water in the same spot. Unfortunately the problem was not what we first thought. Jason showed a great deal of integrity by cutting the price since they didn't fix my water problem. I felt like that was a great thing to do in today's business world.

Jason met with us first and went over several options to prevent the bow and crack from progressing. We had estimates from several companies. Jason provided the most comprehensive analysis of the problem and the proposed repair. He left an estimate of the repair and answered several of my e mail questions in a timely manner. His team was punctual on arriving all days during the repair, were very courteous, answered all of my questions and worked in an efficient manner. They completed the repair on time and did an exceptional clean up of the job site. Two weeks after the job was completed I had a question and Jason returned to the house to respond.

We had a water feature in our basement due to a crack in the foundation and poor drainage outside. It ruined a bathroom and the flooring across half the basement. Jason came out the next day and was able to get the work done the very next week. The work required was installing a new drainage around the inside of the of the basement, fixing the crack with cement and carbon fiber, two new sump pumps, and all new downspout routing. They got all of the work done in 4 days. They were punctual every day and cleaned up well. Kept me informed each step. Really good work and would definitely recommend using them!

Our Crawlspace was extremely wet and muddy! The owner Jason came and inspected and talked with us about our options. He explained everything very well and was easy to talk to. We decided what we wanted to have done and got a bid on the work. The guys did a great job and with the maintenance plan that Jason offers all the sump pumps have lifetime warranties. It's been about 6 months since they finished the job and we have had LOTS of rain and snow and the crawlspace is completely dry! We are so happy that our house is no longer sinking and rotting away. Glad we chose to go with this company for our crawlspace work!

Contacted Healthy Basement Concepts in the Summer of 2019 as we recently bought a home where water leaked into the basement in multiple areas. Jason came out within a week to not only give us a detailed quote, but also a thorough explanation on why our basement was leaking. He clearly knows his stuff and has excellent knowledge on the work we needed to do to keep our basement dry. In comparison to the other places that we had come over that you often hear commercials for on AM radio, they sent out salesmen that don't do the actual work. They have gimmicks and try to scare you into possibly doing more than you might need and the guys selling you on the work aren't the ones actually doing it. Whereas Jason is the owner and he's on the job regularly to see it to completion. He shoots it to you straight. As for the work itself, it's going to be dirty. There just isn't a way around this. They jackhammered the entire perimeter of our basement on the interior, put down a drain pipe, than ran the water to two separate sump pumps in our basement. They put steel beams on our walls to prevent them from further shearing. They then poured new concrete and put a plastic sheeting on the walls. All told, this took about a week to complete. Yes, it's disruptive to your home, but if you need this to be done, Jason and his team do an excellent job. Now that it's been done for 6 months, I can safely say that we've been through multiple rain storms, sometimes dropping 1-2 inches of rain. We haven't had a drop of water in our basement and have now finished the space. We truly have confidence in the work that Jason and his team did and Jason puts out the warranty to back that up. Would highly recommend.

We were having major issues with our foundation sinking and having multiple large cracks. We had another company do "corrective work/piers" on the foundation but only made our situation worse. Jason did a thorough evaluation, gave us a reasonable estimate and fully discussed what our job would entail.. His bid was not the least expensive but my spouse and I felt the most confident in his ability to correct our issues. He also stood by his initial bid when additional costs were added to the job. Jason and his team are trustworthy and very skilled. He fully stands behind his work. I will call him again if the need arises and will send anyone I know to this reputable company.

It went fantastic. Jason and his crew were in and out in about 4 days. He did all the work that was written up in the contract. His great reviews, lifetime warranty, competitive prices, and available financing were the reason we chose his company. Hopefully we will never need this type of work again, but if so I know who I will call.

Jason and his crew were wonderful. Up until this work was done, everytime it rained, I would be down in my basement vacuuming up 2-3 inches of water that would come in from the ground and foundation. Since the work has been done, I've not had any problems. They waterproofed everything, installed a sump pump and put covering over the open crawl space areas. Concrete was replaced and they even wrangled my cat back inside when he managed to escape. They kept the dust at a minimum inside the house and cleaned up everything they could.
