I was amazed at how fast the old roof came off and how fast the new one went on. After they had completed the job, one of the other company employees came out and inspected the job and found a couple things he wanted corrected. I personnally didn't see anything wrong. Then again, i don't have a trained eye. The next day two crew members showed up and had the problems corrected. After this, another employee show up (one of the owers) and inspected the job and was satisfied that all was well.I would highly recommend Ascent Roofing Solutions to all my friends. The quality of the work was excellent and thecost of both jobs was very, very reasonable. I had many conversations with Brandi, the lady who keeps things going. Very professional and willing to work with the customer.

They were very professional. They had a large crew, and completed the job in one day. They thoroughly cleaned the work area of all debris. Their follow up customer satisfaction was excellent. Their price was fair. I would highly recommend this company.

Ascent Roofing did not show up for our 3:00 PM appointment. Neither did they call to cancel. I am disappointed seeing that they have such good ratings with Angie's List. Perhaps they have a good explanation for not showing up, calling or apologizing? I gave Ascent Roofing a second chance and am now satisfied with their service.

They came for an estimate on a leak and check the roof. The house is only 11 years old and they said we needed a whole new roof. I called for another estimate 2 estimates and neither one said i needed a new roof. Now how about that!!

Overall I was very impressed with Ascent Roofing. Tom provided our quote and was very professional. He explained the process very throughly and was not at all pushy. We really appreciated the fact that Tom had actually installed roofs before and the fact that he wasn't a salesman- he wasn't pushy at all. Once we signed for a roof the office was very punctual/responsive in setting up a time and Tom very responsive to our questions. The crew seemed professional and left our property in good condition (some plants were destroyed but that is to be expected). After the installation one of the owners came out ot review the work. Turns out that when we got our estimate it was discussed that they would install vent and the vents were not installed (and we didn't get it in writing- it was just stated that the work would be done). However, Brent the owner made sure that guys came out the next day and installed vents at no additional charge. We were both very impressed at this. It's hard to review their work since we have only had the roof for two weeks but we had another contractor out the other day working on our windows (who also does roofs) and he said the work looks good. We are glad we went with Ascent...

This is a great company they are honest and do excellent work. They quickly made the appointment and scheduled as soon as possible. Brent the owner was onsite to inspect the work and made sure I was happy with the job. Tom the project lead was friendly courteous and explained every aspect about the job.

Overall, the work went well. Tom Hannon, the Ascent Roofing Solutions Project Consultant could not have been more interested in our particular job. He presented his product and company in a complete and informative manner, allowing us to consider the alternatives and make our own choices. Tom's was, beyond any doubt, the most complete inspection and presentation that we received from any of the companies that we contacted. The contract process went smoothly, with Tom working with us to obtain a fair price reflecting a number of discounts, even allowing us a special pricing consideration. Ascent Roofing worked with us in a thoughtful and respectful fashion. There was a slight glitch in communication initially, but a sign of a real professional organization is that they work to the benefit of their customer and the small scheduling problem was quickly resolved by Tom Hannon and Jason Elliott, one of the co-owners of the company. Within ten days of the contract signing, the Ascent crew went to work on the roof. As an Owens-Corning Preferred Company, Ascent's crew knew exactly what they were about and worked extremely diligently. From tear-off to new, Lifetime roof in a single day. Additionally, they were respectful and pleasant. They got the job done beautifully, without loud music, swearing or 'down time'. The clean up was more than satisfactory. Tarps were laid over our plants, air-conditioning unit, meters and other at risk yard objects. Tarps were also placed in our neighbor's yard to capture debris and make policing the area easier. All due diligence was made to make sure that the nails and roofing debris were removed from the job site and the neighbor's yards. I believe it would be nearly impossible to find a better company to have on a project than Ascent Roofing Solutions. They are welcome at my home.

I saw what he did and he did an excellent job. Not cheap but an excellent job.

My husband and I live in an old house and my second floor has poor insulation and venting. I contacted Ascent Roofing to provide a solution to this issue. It was easy to schedule an appointment, they were on-time and professional. The Program Manager (PM) did not know the best solution but took measurements and scheduled another appointment to discuss our options. At the follow-on meeting the PM was honest and said the only option, although a long-term solution, would be a major project and relatively costly. He referred us to a heating and cooling company to see if they could suggest any short-term solutions to our problem.

We couldn't be more pleased. The customer service provided by Ascent was exceptional. Brent took time to explain things to us and helped us through our decision process. Brandie continually followed-up with us to keep us up-to-date with the when, what, etc. The roof looks beautiful.

They were very quick to return my phone calls and kept me up to date with what was going on with the insurance company. I didn't end up using them but I would recommend them because of their great customer service.

They put on a whole new roof on. They did things so ice and water would not stick by the chimney. Everything went smoothly. They did a very good job I did not have any problems. I cant say I am anything but I'm pleased. They were very quick and cleaned up after themselves.

We received an estimate to replace the flashing around our chimney. Leroy explained everything in detail that would take place and followed up with a phone call. We scheduled the repair work. Leroy was prompt, efficient and completed the work within hours. He cleaned everything up and explained in detail with pictures of what he did. Great experience, would recommend and use again.

It was nice to know that they use quality products with long warranties. The best part about this company is they wanted to make sure we were happy with everything before they considered the job complete. I would definitely recommend them for all their services.

We got then off Angie’s List in one of the Big Deals that came into my e-mail. It has not gone very well. We live in an old farm house. I thought that is a blown in insulation or something they could do from the vent. They said no, they had to get someone in there. All of my concerns were replied as it would be fine and they would take care of it. I thought they charged on square footage. We have cape cod style roof so the attic is isn’t as big as the floor. They were figuring the square footage of the whole house. I thought that was weird. I thought I was being ripped off there. They came out the day and couldn’t get into the attic. All the stuff that I said how it is going to work, it didn’t. They decided to blow it in and pushing it in with tools. I haven’t gone up there and looked and I am assuming that is okay, but it was just frustrating on all the questions I had asked. My husband travels a lot and I take care of this sort of things. I got a feel that they were thinking I didn’t know what I was talking about. Since then, I have requested an invoice to keep for my records and everything that we have done to the house. They said they would send it, but nothing so far. I haven’t had a very good experience with them. The way I saw it was the Big Deal was going to cover most of what we needed and we ended up spending almost over $2000 in the end. We have a two-storied house which is 1100 square feet. I still don’t know how that happens. They did in two sections of the house and I did see one section and all is fine. We have a lower added on area where I was able to get up there and see it. The quality of work what I saw looked fine. I would not use them in the future.

The price was good and they did a great job. I have only positive things to say about them.

They Came super early and finished in one day. Was messy while the job was in process, but they did clean up very well afterwards. Co-Owner Jason was nice as was the salesman Steve. Roof looks great and I am happy. Waiting for the first big rain for the real test. They did forget to sweep out the gutters for nails, but I called them and they came right out. It was getting late so I am not taking points off. Generally a very good experience. I recommend them. They even replaced rotting plywood piece.

The installation crew came in, tarped everything around the house, removed the old roof, installed the new materials, cleaned up and left without fuss or muss. Took them less than a full day despite morning rain and chill. Neighbors on both sides recently replaced their roofs and I have to say that our new roof looks better than theirs.

They did an awesome job. We worked with Brent Cornwell. He listened, was informative, took his time, and was very patient. He wasn't pushy at all. The project was covered by insurance. He did all of the insurance part directly with All State.

Darren, Ascent Roofing's Dayton-area supervisor was very responsive to questions and we worked out a fair and reasonable price for the additional expenses not covered in the Big Deal -- including a Chimney Saddle that is vastly superior to the previous. The new roof is very attractive and the ridge vents are much more attractive than what was on the roof before. We worked with Darren to schedule the installation for a specific data and Ascent Roofing was able to accomodate our schedule. The work was done in one day and is very attractive.

Brent and Jason took care of us AGAIN! Our roof was replaced by them a year ago. Prior to that, we had leaking from a screened-in porch addition that was completed prior to our purchase of the house. We were never able to pinpoint the leak and address it and were hoping that the new roof would just take care of the problem. Well, no luck. The leak returned and we COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHERE IT WAS COMING FROM! We should have called Ascent to help us out sooner, but we kept trying different approaches and they would work for one or two rains, but the leak always came back. As luck would have it, I ran into Jason and Brent out and about. And, I got a "talkin' to" for not contacting them sooner :) They had their service manager, Leroy, out to our house in a couple of days. He spent a few hours on the roof and felt that he had found the leak - he found wet spots under the shingles - and took care of it. It was due to rain in a couple of days, so the test was on! Unfortunately, with the next rain, we once again had leaking. I called Brent to give him the bad news - this was a Friday. Saturday morning (a not so nice, cold and windy day) Leroy spent an hour or so on our roof with a hose determined to figure out where the leak was. After getting the leak to present itself, he had a plan to return on Tuesday and work till it was fixed. On Tuesday, Leroy was on our roof around 7 hours. It became personal - he was going to win the war on the leak! Of course, it took a couple of hours before the leak would even present itself. It turns out the leak was much further away than would seem logical - but Leroy found it! He was professional, friendly, and helpful. He explained everything to me as he was going along. He didn't quit until the problem was solved! Thank you Leroy, Jason and Brent for taking care of us!!

I saw the offer for roof inspection on angie's list and bought it. Brent, a co-ower came out and said my roof was a mess. I filed a claim with insurance because of wind damage(shingles blew off) and brent's company gave me an estimate. He worked with the insurance company and did a great job replacing my roof and cleaning up .

I took the Angie's Big Deal, paying in advance. I had reservations about paying in advance for a contracted job, but with a credit card I still had the opportunity to cancel if things went bad. Then I went out of town. When I returned, Jason contacted me first, a good sign that they didn't forget me. He was friendly and flexible and performed the estimate immediately. He clearly explained costs, was patient and helpful while I made my choices, and provided a written estimate and contract. Worked with me to choose a good date, with an eye on the weather. My cost was above the baseline $5599 Big Deal price because I had an extra layer of shingles to remove, and because the work needed about 10% more than the 2000 sq ft in the deal. Jason was upfront, fair and honest about the costs and work to be performed. Also, he was sensitive to my budget concerns, which was helpful in deciding on shingle type. I chose the default shingle for the Big Deal, because of numerous great reviews I read elsewhere on the web. These reviews increased my confidence in Ascent Roofing Solutions for featuring that shingle. Work crew was prompt, efficient, thorough, courteous, professional, and it looks like they did great work, based on what I can see from the ground and from my close inspection walking around my roof. I talked with the foreman before 7:30am, and they started immediately after we talked. Very coordinated crew, all of them stayed busy. I was working from home and saw that they took only a short break for lunch, and back to work. The crew completed work, cleaned up my yard, and were gone by 3:30. Jason arranged to meet with me the next day. He inspected the work, and pointed out a small problem that I might need to keep an eye on with my chimney. He answered all my questions, and left a pack of extra shingles as I requested just in case. After the job was complete, I asked if their company does siding. Jason said they do, and they would be glad to give an estimate upon request. Based on their service during each phase (estimate, contract, work, and post-completion follow-up), along with the quality of work completed on my roof, I will certainly talk to their company when I decide to re-side my house.

I had a very pleasant experience. They responded to my email within a day and were out to estimate the job within the week. When they arrived to complete the work, they were on time and professional in their approach to the job. The job took a bit longer than originally anticipated but they completed the work within one day and met my expectations.
