Ascent was very detailed in their estimation process, looking at the roof from the inside and outside. We were given several shingle options, along with several warranty options. The team answered all questions we had and educated us through the process. The team arrived when scheduled and worked quickly to install our roof. They had a large enough crew that the work was completed in a little over a day (we have a large complicated roof). The team cleaned up both days, leaving us with no debris in our yard. We would highly recommend using Ascent for your roofing needs.

Of the three companies we contacted, Steve Spaulding with Ascent Roofing provided the most thorough inspection of our roof and attic to determine what we needed. Steve spent the most time with us to explain his findings, and what options we should consider. Steve provided very detailed estimates of two roofing product options, and explained the advantages of each. In the end, we selected the GAF product. The work was completed in one day, a few weeks after we selected Ascent to complete the work. The work crew was professional and neat, and all old roofing, packaging materials, etc. were removed the same day. Special attention was paid to our skylights, fireplace chimney, stand pipes and damage found in one section of plywood when the old roofing material was removed. We were very pleased with Ascent Roofing, and Steve's attention to us to make certain all work was done to our satisfaction.

It was fantastic!!! Steve crawled into the attic to take a close look at the mold.....took pictures for me. The price was competitive with my other three bids. They were prompt, neat, a supervisor was here at all times up on the roof checking things, they came back the next day to do a final check. All communication thru the office was polite and responsive. Would highly recommend.

You won't find a better roofing contractor in Central Ohio. We had some special needs (removal of asbestos roof and 80+ yr old asphalt underneath, wood repair/replacement, odd and steep roof line, gutter replacement, etc.) and Brent and his guys handled everything better than expected. They were thorough, polite, cleaned up well, and came back and fixed a couple of minor issues on a weekend. We couldn't be happier. One of the best parts was getting to know Brent. He absolutely lives out his stated values... God, family, dedication, trust, hard work. One night there was a 15% chance of rain and he and one of his men came out at 8pm and tarped an exposed area. He treated our house like it was his own. And he has some fun stories about his family and his years in the service. Great guy... great company.

I wish every service provider had the same level of service as this business. The thing that makes them stand out is the involvement of senior management ( Brent and Steve ) in every step of the process. From the first phone call to the clean up, either Brent or Steve was involved. Their pricing was very competitive. They kept in touch with me throughout the process, and there was no time when I didn't feel like I knew what was going on and why. Brent or Steve was present for most of the time the work was being done, as well as the clean up. ( If they offered house cleaning service I would hire them, based on the care they took on the post job clean up! ) This company is forthright, careful, and respectful. You will not do better with any other company.

Ascent Roofing Solutions put a new roof on our house a little over 3 years ago. They did an excellent job as you can see from my review of that experience 4/9/2015. Recently, there was a leak from the back porch ceiling as well as some water coming in a couple areas in the front of the house. I called them to ask them if they could come out and check the roof for leaks. Lyndon came out right away. The water in the front of the house was not from the roof, but Lyndon still took the time to explain to me what he thought might be happening. He even cleaned the debris off my roof while he was up there! The area of the roof that needed a slight repair was not under warranty, but Brent and Lyndon fixed it any way since we were former customers. Not only did they fix the roof, but they fixed some of the siding that they noticed was damaged and allowing water in. Brent even followed up to be sure that no water was coming in through the porch ceiling after the next big rain, which there wasn't. They really went above and beyond what they had to do, and I was so appreciative!

I interviewed four roofers and chose Ascent Roofing Solutions. Steve was my contact man and didn't just explain the problems with the roof, but documented everything with extensive pictures. He explained in detail how Ascent installs a new roof and reflected that same detail every step of the way in his estimate; there was nothing left to question. He promised a lot and delivered more. His crew had a fantastic work ethic, protected decks and landscaping, and cleaned up everything after each work day even though it was sometimes dark (multiple day job). After removing the shingles, he showed me more pictures of rotten wood that he had to replace at the pre-agreed price. I couldn't be happier with the price, the job, the professionalism, and quality. This is where you want to be. And it's Veteran owned!

Lyndon comes on time, spent half an hour checking water mark and roof condition. He is honest and explain thing well. It is condensation rather than leak, so he did not charge me at all!

We originally called Ascent Roofing over a holiday weekend when we discovered water leaking into the top of our bedroom closets and our adjacent bathroom cupboards. The owner of Ascent said they could come out for a fee of $150. I had left a message with another roofer who had been here before, but they didn't see my message until the following week after Ascent had already come out. The other roofer eventually came to look at the problem and gave us an estimate for free. As we had already paid Ascent $150, we decided to have them do the repairs. Ascent Roofing sent Lyndon to our home to assess the problem. It was very cold that day, and Lyndon apparently wasn't properly dressed to fix anything. He attempted to diagnose the leak and said he'd return when we didn't have snow on the roof. It took many weeks of waiting for the weather to improve and for our schedules to mesh before Lyndon finally came out to do the repair . Apparently, before he returned to our house, he had answered other owners' calls about water leaking from their attics. It seems that the extremely cold weather was causing moisture in the attics to freeze then thaw, causing the leaks. There were some miscommunications with Lyndon about the proposed repairs. He seemed to change his mind a lot about a possible fix and what it would cost, so it was rather confusing for a while. We had to speak to the owner of the company to double check on the price and whether the original $150 we paid to have Lyndon come out would be credited towards the repairs. In the end, Lyndon connected the vent pipe from our shower to a new roof vent that he installed. He suggested that we put more insulation above the shower to help prevent further freezing and thawing in the future.

These guys are super! Steve Spaulding was great to work with. The job took two days (roof one day, new gutters the next) and was professionally done in every way. I thought the price was quite reasonable and we were never pressured to sign up. They were meticulous about cleanup, too. A fun fact: When Steve came by to give us the estimate, one of our beagles ran out the door and down the street. I told Steve I had to catch the dog and so he came along. We finally caught the dog, talking about roofs the whole way! That really helped me feel comfortable about hiring this company.

Initial response to my call was they could come out in two weeks. Received a call back on that date, but did not come out until a week later at which time he said he could now set a date for work. Total of 4 weeks to get work done. I asked for two 4" roof vents and one 6" roof vents to be installed for new bathroom fans. The 6" vent was required for high volume fan in large bathroom. They checked availability of 6" vent and said they could do the work. After vent we're put in, I checked the work and discovered three 4" vents were installed with a reducer put on the high volume fan and 6" duct in order to vent out the 4" vent. I called the roofer and asked why he had installed the 4" vent when I had specifically asked for a 6" vent. He said the parts supplier said the 4" vent with a reducer was fine and that is how it is typically done. I said I will watch, but I was disappointed he did not say something before he installed the smaller vent. The roofer was courteous, and punctual but I was upset I did not get what I asked for and the difference was not explained to me until I called to complain.

They came out here and never came back. They did a review, and I called them back, and the guy never came back. He came out and was really nice and professional. He never came out and did anything. They were very professional. He said he can't really know what to do with the roof. He said I needed a roof, and he said he would send the real guy out. He came out to just fix it. I had pieces that fell off and everything, and he came out to repair it. It wouldn't have matched anything. I didn't ask for that. I asked for a new roof. The one who came out was very professional. The other was not. Response to 8/28/2017 comment. Ascent response was a lie. I gave the a B and they respond with lies. I do not curse at anyone. My family have never hear me curse. What a company? My comment were true as God is my witness. I'm turning the B to F for being disrespectful and for lying on me to make you look good.

Once our service manager got there and inspected the roof he told her that the roof is not repairable and we would get an estimator out to give her a replacement quote. At that point she started cussing and yelling and we canceled our estimator and called to tell her we cant work with her and again she started yelling and cussing so we simply hung up the phone. management"
