Overall, very professional and nice.

Best experience so far with Angie's List! We have bought 4 items, but this is the only vendor who contacted us to schedule the work. Brandie called the day after we made the purchase to schedule the install, at our convenience. Leroy arrived a few minutes early and we discussed to location to install the fan. He efficiently performed the installation and cleaned up the minimal debris. These folks are great to work with, we are extremely pleased!

It went well. Requested a black in color and they painted before arriving. All went well.

It went very fast. The fan works and does make a real difference. I cannot compare it to others since I have never done this before.

Our experience incluing sales staff, office support and installers was very good. The installers arrived on time and were professionl, couteous and thorough. A manager came out a few dasy later to inspect. Wewould highly recommend this company.

The home inspector we used when we purchased our home did not recognize the problem. We were having issues with the very hot summer we have had making the attic and upstairs unbearably hot. We will see how much this helps.

They repaired loose gutters with gutter lies and loose siding was nailed down. Ascent is one of the best contractors I have ever had work on my home.they are honest and perform A+ work

It only took about 15 minutes to install the solar powered ceiling fan.

LeRoy arrived promptly. He needed about one hour to install the solar-powered attic fan. The rooms on our second floor are now cooler, more like the room temperature on the first floor. The fan has made our second floor much more comfortable.

We began with a feeling that Ascent Roofing Solutions was a competent roofer with a good product to install, but we lost that confidence. Another firm gained the opportunity to bid the job because Ascent consistently dropped the ball on a simple part of doing business. I'm frankly amazed that being unable to produce a written estimate that they are in business at all... must be a lot of people who don't expect to do business using basic, but formal processes. That they were proposing several expensive "necessary" additional (not insurance covered) "repairs" further makes me wonder about them. Sorry I could not support them... I'll write a review of the other company soon hereafter.

Information and estimate phase went smoothly. Justin and Jon were friendly, professional, knowledgable, and respectful of my home and property. I contacted three companies and received bids from each. While Ascent was not the least expensive bid I received, their solution to address my needs was comprehensive, the team instilled a sense of confidence, and the reports on Angie's list reinforced my decision. The work was completed as bid with no hidden charges, the team kept me informed as work progressed, and my follow-up calls received immediate response. Work was completed on time; and clean-up was acceptable; the work crews did a wonderful job in the 95+ degree heat. Jason, co-owner, made frequent site visits to ensure the work as completed to Ascent standards and to my satisfaction. Roof system installation went as scheduled. The old rusted metal box that surrounded the furnace pipe was removed and all venting pipes were painted to blend in with the roof color. I am very pleased with the results--and so are the neighbors! Attic insulation was blown in through an opening in the roof; this kept the insulation debri from coming inside the house. The resulting sound reduction is noticeable, and I am sure to see a difference in my heating and cooling bills long term. Siding: I am extremely pleased with the siding. Justin and Jon developed a plan to hide the majority of the utility lines and hoses that were an unsightly mess. They offered a suggestion of using a different style of vinyl on the gables of the house and garage to break up the linear look which adds interest and curb appeal. Gutters and downspouts completed the overall look. They also removed a wooden facade around the front door and faced the opening with siding. I may have a new vinyl facade installed at some point in the future. My only distress with this project was related to the satellite dish originally attached to the roof of my house. Unfortunately I did not understand potential warranty implications of attaching the dish to my new roof. After the roof was finished, I made the decision to relocate the dish to a pole cemented into the ground behind my garage; unfortunately it took well over six weeks to get this completed by the satellite dish provider. I would recommend that anyone with a dish attached to the existing roof and contemplating roof replacement (regardless of the vendor you select) make sure you understand the implications before scheduling work. When the reinstall was finally completed, another member of the Ascent team made a service call, at no additional cost, to make adjustments to the siding to hide the cables. I highly recommend this company.

I saw the attic fan offering on Angies List. I had some questions about the offering, so I went to the company's web site to see if there is more information about the solar powered attic fan. But they don't advertise this product/service on their website. So, a chat window popped up (love chats for companies). The operator welcomed me and asked me for my phone number and email address ("to better serve you") as well as my name. I gave my first name but didn't want to give my phone number and email address. So I proceeded with my questions: Are there tax credits available for the solar powered attic fan? Does AEP offer a rebate? Who is the manufacturer of the unit? And what warranty comes with the fan unit and solar panels? The operator replied that he couldn't answer my questions and requested my contact information so that someone could get back to me. I replied that I don't understand the point of a chat if they can't answer basic questions about the product offerings; and I told him I'd call the company directly. So I called the company and was asked, via recorded response, for phone number so someone could call me back again. I hung up.

I had a small leak in the kitchen and had several contractors provide quotes, etc. Ascent worked with my insurance company to make the replacement seamless and efficient. The company was excellent in providing product information and bringing me up to speed on latest products available and technical issues. They completed the job in one day. Their team was great - they took great care of my garden and home and were polite and professional. I've never seen a group of roofers work so hard. I do have one small follow up issue which is being dealt with but it is being handled professionally and will be completed soon. I would recommend them for their professionalism, knowledge of product and their attention to detail.

After storms had come through, it was determined my roof needed to be replaced. Ascent Roofing offered me what I consider to be an excellent roof- the Owens Corning Duration. They are one of the preferred installers for Owens Corning roofing and I couldn't be happier with not just the roof, but the service, professionalism, the price and the follow-up this company provided. I used Angie's List to find this company and Ascent truly surpassed all the reviews I had read about them. Brent, the co-owner, came out to the home at the time he promised and in no way pressured me to chose his company for the job. Instead he educated me on the roofing that I was looking to have installed and left me with an estimate. He followed-up in a timely manner and he even volunteered to be at my home when the insurance adjuster was scheduled to visit to give me an estimate for a replacement roof. I cannot tell you how helpful that was to have the adjuster speak with Brent and discuss how Brent created his estimate for the roof. Jose and his team of roofers who work for Ascent completed my roof in one day. They arrived early, just before 7:00am, and covered all my landscape with tarp. They moved things off my deck, even my flower pots, so they would not be damaged when they were working on the roof. After they completed the roof, Jose walked me around the house and explained all they had done, asked if I had any questions and if I was happy with their job- very professional. The roof looked fantastic and my yard looked like no one had even been there working! Everything was back to the way it was- flower pots and all. I have hired Ascent again to add some additional down spouts to the house. Brent has already given me an estimate and they start work next week. Brent told me he likes the size his company is now, but based on their workmanship, their professionalism and price, I really cannot see this company staying small for long. I am so glad I found this company on Angie's List- they made an overwhelming roof project for me simple and complete.

Ascent was great!!! The crew was clean, professional, honest, courteous, responsive to my questions and concern. Jason (one of the owners) came to review work after the job was complete as the salesman that I talked to originally. These guys really want to make sure they do a good job and that you are satisfied with the work. Rare qualities to be seen in a business these days. The work was fast, accurate, professional. The crew was a steady 6 man and at times 8 man. They dig right in and get to work. I was stunned at the pace the crew moved at. They tore off my old roof, did repairs to the roof deck and laid down the new roof almost completely in one day. They had to come back the next morning and finish a small remaining section and clean up. They even fixed a gutter that was damaged during the install to one of the dormers, free of charge. The wind started to kick up the second morning and it whipped some shingles the guy was carrying up the ladder, right out of his hands and slammed them into the gutter there. It was unavoidable and a complete accident. For some reason, our house gets some really good gusts of wind that shoots by it now and then on that side of the house. It just happened to be one of those times. Looking around my house after the job was complete, I found only one or two nails that had bounced up into a couple off odd spots around the house. When the crew was done, except for a new roof, you wouldnt even know they had been there. The quality of the materials, the quality of the skill and installation was top notch. I am very impressed. There have been some good storms that have gone through since the install and I have had zero issues with any leaking, (the crawspace under the roof is as dry as the dessert (as it should be)), shingle tearing, coming loose or blowing off at all. They even painted my exhaust stacks on the roof of the house to match the flashing. Not even the original builder that built the house did that. The flashing around our chimney was done correctly. I will be an old man by the time this roof needs to be replaced. They even provided a garuntee to their install work in addtiion to the mfg's shingles. I will definitely be using Ascent Roofing again. We want to replace a run of gutter along the front of our house and I am going to be using Ascent to get the job done.

I requested that they look at a very simple problem ($200-$400 repair), but also wanted them to inspect the roof for other defects after a severe storm. They came out, the person was very thorough and professional and I was told they would follow up with a quote in a couple days. They followed up a little late not being able to enter my name in the system due to the power outage at the time. Several weeks went by, I end up using someone else. The office manager eventually called me with an apology. I was very impressed with the staffs apologies and depth of customer service to follow up. I will look for opportunities to use them in the future. They do care about their customers!

Everything from est. to work completed went very good,no problems.The siding was match with the old better than we expected.Clean up was great.Roof was done in one day and gutter and siding was done the next day.

Excellent service and very professional from start to finish.I found Ascent roofing by simply using a Google search for roofers in the Columbus area. I called and left a message and was quite surprised at how fast Brent (part owner) called me back to set up an appointment. Brent was right on time and actually called me ahead of time to make sure it was still OK for him to come at the time we agreed upon. When he arrived he told me in detail about his company,the worked they performed and the expectations that he had about the quality of work his crew did. Brent asked me if it was alright to inspect my roof and I said sure. After the inspection Brent not only informed me of the damage to my roof but took the time to educate me as to what caused it. I had two other companies come out before I called Ascent and all they both were more concerned about if I was covered by insurance or not and how they would work to get me a free roof. This was not the case with Brent.He informed me that I had multiple sources of damage(wind and hail) and that in his opinion I needed a new roof but would work with me on whatever I decided.Repair or replace.Without Brents knowledge I had called my Insurance company and they sent out a claims adjuster to see if there was any damage The adjusters report on the condition of my roof was identical to Brent's. A few days after Brent was out and inspected my roof he called to follow up with me to see if I had any concerns or questions, never using any pressure to sign a contract with him. Before I made my decision I purchased a membership from Angie's list to check on Ascent's previous performance and I was not surprised to find out that they are a service award winner. I proceded to call Brent back to get the ball rolling.He once again came out at my convenience to sign a contract to perform the work and he made sure I understood everything in the contract and what work would be done. This was on Thursday, his crew showed up on time the next Tuesday and to my delight finished the job in one day leaving my house looking AWESOME! Brent also showed up while the work was in progress to check on how things were going and if I had any questions.He also followed up by calling me to see if I was satisfied with the job. One last thing, The clean up his crew did was impeccable! other than having a new roof you wouldn't have known they were ever there.

The sevice manager ( Leroy Blankenship) who gave the estimate also did the repairs. He arrived half an hour early (a plus to me). He was polite, professional and friendly and did the work quickly and to our complete satisfaction.

Installer was prompt. He explained what he was going to do as far as the impact on the roof was concerned. He installed the unit, cut and replaced the shingles, sealed all joints and cleaned up. He also did a quick inspection of the entire roof and gave us information pertaining to its condition. We would use the company again without hesitation!

I saw the "Big Deal" for Ascent roofing. I was in need of a new roof. An opportune deal at the right time. I was very pleased with the work. A salesman came out and showed me how the work would be done and the materials used, and the estimate for my particular roof. I have a steep roof with peaks. They charge by square foot of roof. They had an ample color collection to choose from. He was very knowledgeable about the product and service. Everything happened the way he said it would. They removed the original roofing materials. They were on time and were very good about cleaning up all debris. An executive with the company came out to inspect completed roof. All was done in a timely, professional manner.

We were very pleased with the promptness and professionalism of both Brandy Koehler and LeRoy Blankenship. They know how to realistically and promptly schedule services, even in a work environment in which the weather can cause unexpected delays. LeRoy noted a loose shingle and nail pop on our roof and repaired both for us after installing the fan. We would gladly consider them for future work.

I called them to get more information about the installation of my new attic fan, and they were very helpful from the start. Initially, someone came out to look at the project but no one was home, so he could not get in to look at the cieling and determine if the install would work. When he returned and was able to see that I did not have cathedral cielings, he decided to proceed with the install. It was done in a very clean and efficient manner, the gentleman seemed to be of the utmost professionalism. I have already noticed a huge difference in the temperature upstairs already. I am very pleased with them and their work.
