Description of Work: I needed a new roof. My house is a one floor ranch, with 3 bedrooms, etc. and is about 58 years old, and probably had the third roof on it in its lifetime. The existing roof has lots of wear marks in the portion over the living room and over one of the bedrooms. The nail heads were starting to show, some of the creases were very worn. The roof had shown its age, and we bought the house 10 years ago, with the roof as is, and I knew it would need to be replaced. Time for the new one, and I knew it. Wanted to get job before winter weather set in. Maybe luck would be good for two more weeks, it was. I called the company, in very early January, referencing an Angies List special price, and told the company rep about the status of the roof, and asked for an inspeciton within 2 to 3 days. The clerk on the phone, had a sales rep / job site supervisor visit on the next day, He went up onto the roof with me to look over the whole roof, (NO, I was not afraid of waliking on the roof), from one side to the other. We both agreed it need replacement, and this roof qualified for the special pricing that was advertised. To me, this was probably the 3rd roof in the house's 58 year history, I was ready for a new one. We agreed on the style and type of new rooking materials, the few items to be included, and that the new materials had a 25 year warranty from the supplier, and they, (the company) would service any problems. Date was set, contract written, deposit made, same day as review. Crew showed up on time, 7:15 am on a sunny cold January day, NO snow, NO rain, just sun and blue sky. They went to work, a crew of 4, took off the old roof, put all trash into their own dumpster wagon, replaced three underlay sheets of plywood, (as listed in contract), put on the new prime layer, new boots for vents, then the new roof, and continuously keep all their trash in the dumpster. Finished with job by 4:00pm. The site manager, also a sales rep made several visits throughout the day, and was there for final inspection. I had no issues. We agreed on everything. Job was done. Weather came in during January and February, I did my own attic inspection, as agreed upon with sales rep, site manager, NO leaks. Satisfied with complete job. Sales rep, said, any problems, call us, we aim to take care of the custoner. No problems so far, and roof looks nice, nine months later. Yes, I would hire them again. Sales rep / job site supervisor was easy to work with, explained everything, knew that I could handle my own check ups, agreed with me on all terms. Good to go. For myself, having experience with roofing materials, building materials, etc, I knew what had to be done, and type of work invovled. I was looking for a qualtiy job at a fair price, and got both.
