coupon said replace loose shingles company rep said no at first but then agreed. did a good job once we got past that.... wanted an roof replacement estimate...

We worked with Brent, and he was awesome. He spent time explaining the process, stopping by to answer our questions, and was present during the roof replacement. The team that replaced the roof were very cordial and professional. They had a strong work ethic and made sure the job was done right. Overall, we had a great experience during this project.

Efficient, professional, and they got the job done. The provider was willing to work in bad weather it started to snow while he was there.

Immediately upon arrival, Leroy Blankenship-Service Manager-said there would be at least 3 hours of additional work to remove/replace our gutter guards. Previous companies charged about $150 for a similar cleaning, including the gutter guards. The offer did not mention anything about an extra charge for dealing with gutter guards.

The inspection went well. We had to reschedule a few times because of rain. No big deal. It happens. He informed me on the condition of the shingles and how much life I had left on them, he looked over all of the flashing around the chimneys and looked over some spots that I had questions on. I asked him, as a homeowner, what type of maintenance I should do on the roof. He informed me just to keep an eye on it and have it looked at every 3-5 years. Unless I notice shingles missing. I felt comfortable with talking to him. I would recommend the company to other people that might be in need of roofing services.

After reading several "A" rated reviews here I called Ascent to get an estimate on some roof-related work. An appointment was scheduled for September 3 at 10:30am. I was home all day on September 3 but no one showed up; no one called to explain or reschedule. Checking back here on Angie's List I see that a number of other people had this problem. If a service provider doesn't respect my time enough to keep a scheduled appointment for an estimate, it doesn't give me confidence about their reliability to actually do any work. I'll take my business to someone who is interested in it.

They did a fine job. They pointed out the problem areas that may be a problem for me. They were really good. The guy took pictures of problem areas that he showed us that he would work with and he asked us to look at it and that was at no cost. Actually we decided to go ahead and do a remodeling on the house so all the gutters came off anyway and we put new sidings on it. They were great.

They did a good job. Very happy.

All work done on time and as promised. Only exception was that he was going to provide us with pictures he had taken of his work and we have yet to receive them. Leroy was a pleasure to work with and we would not hesitate to use his firm again.

It turned out good and they came out fairly quickly after we made the purchase. There were no extra cost. There was nothing good or bad, they seemed like a pretty good company.

I was not home when worked was done, so provider followed up with me by phone to give me an update of what he saw while on the roof.

Your offering stated this deal is not for a new home/house, and is for an existing home/house. I expected it to replace the old attic fan (not operative). However, it's intalled on a new location nearby our existing attic fan. In addition to the new opening on the roof, this causes a issue: the new fan not working as efficently as it should be because of nearby opening of the old fan.

Requested to schedule an estimate appointment through the website. Received a reply the next day (Wed) to schedule the estimate appointment. Scheduled the appointment for that Friday, 8/23. Friday arrived, but no one came to the appointment. Did not receive a phone call/voicemail or email regarding the missed appointment. Did not receive any communication the following week regarding the missed appointment either.

I contacted Ascent, hired them and and got a date a few days later (same week as quotation) to do the work. However, because of delays at the job before mine Ascent called me to explain that they would like to reschedule to the next day which was not inconvenient and fine with me and my wife. They came the next day, called before arriving, did the work well, cleaned up afterwards. I'm happy with the job Ascent did and recommend them.

It worked out fine. A man from the company originally came out to give an estimate and then he came back later in the week or the next week and did the roof with the materials. He charged me an additional $250 for the extra service that he did. He also got pictures for me to show me what he did. He was a nice guy and I liked him. He did an excellent job. I would use him again in the future. As a matter of fact, I asked for his card and I have it here.

I was unable to use this deal because of the type of shingles that are on my home Leroy Blakenship was very friendly, helpful and informative. He was very pleasant and professional I would use him again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine.

I've had a couple different companies clean my gutters in the past for less than $120. The deal for $111- seemed like a fair price. Upon arrival the guy told me it would be extra since I had mesh gutter guards. I've cleaned them in the past myself and just sprayed through them, but ok. He went on to say that the shingles on part of the roof extended too far into the gutters and for him to clean them he would have to cut the ends off them on that part of the roof. He did not offer to do any of the work at that time but instead told me he would send me an estimate. A week and a half later I received his estimate for a total of $715-. I'm not as young as I used to be and try to avoid climbing ladders when I do not have to do so. I have however done roofing work before and installed gutters to the point that I know better. Angie's List has been more than easy to deal with about obtaining a refund for the full amount.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was a good experience. He seem to have done a good job. They called me after I purchased it and set up a time. We had a little mix up in where they were going but he got here and did a good job. We removed the covers in our gutters so there wasn't an additional charge for him to remove them. This was our first time using him. My husband dealt with him and I think he also assessed the roof and I'm not sure what came of that. The guy was friendly. He had talked about additional charges for removing the gutter covers but we went and did that. We were satisfied with the service. The gutters seem to be working better now. It was a new home and I don't think they have ever cleaned the gutters so we were having issues with it. I've seen advertisements for less than $99 for gutter cleaning.
