The lady (I later learned her name was Sabrina) who answered the phone immediately started to go on about how "you have to call us, we don't just go pick up your dog." She then went on to say "and we won't have drivers in your area today". I told her I just wanted to make sure my dog's paw print was taken care of and she started in on she needed me to pay first, etc. EXTREMELY rude and no compassion for our situation, all gruff business and interrupting me, etc. I was so shocked and hurt that I hung up. After I composed myself, I called back and asked for the manager. The owner, I think her name is Sharon, was almost as rude. I basically told her what I thought of people like her and 'Sabrina' being in a business where compassion and understanding SHOULD be the first order of business. Losing one's pet (of 13 years) is extremely heart-wrenching and devastating. To get their level of 'service' was something I'll never forget. Just a business, I get it, but your customers, by nature of that business, are hurting and do not need bad attitudes when making final arrangements.

They pick up my cat at the vet and deliver the remains there, this is very good because it's a long way from me. I've never compared prices, mostly because they're such nice people and so easy to deal with. Losing a pet is a terrible thing, but they make it as pleasant as possible.

Our dog was hit and killed on a morning we got 3 inches of snow. She was left in the road by the person who hit her which just added to our grief. This was some what mitigated by the kindness of the pines staff. The made sure their driveway was cleared and stopped plowing the parking lot so we could get in. The groundskeeper was kind and not at all upset he had to wait for us. The office staff was amazing both during the initial call and during our drop off. I could not recommend the pines more strongly.

I called quite a few pet cremation services before my dog passed away, and again the day she died. The majority of providers I called had little sympathy. This type of call is difficult to make and you could tell some of them were all about the sale. However, it didn't take me long to decide during my call that Pines was the place to take our buddy. They honestly cared and could tell that I was having a hard time during the call. The cemetery itself is beautiful and just such a peaceful place to say goodbye. I think their service standard to return the cremations is 2 business days. We got a call the next day to pick up our friend. It's a bit of a drive out to the Pines but its well worth it. You'll see pet graves and you can tell how much their families cared about their pets. It's just helpful to know that you aren't alone and other people cared about their pets the same way.

During the initial call they will instruct you on how to wrap your pet in a blanket to bring to them. Once you go in they will have their caretaker come and get your pet from the car. They stood a good distance away while we said goodbye to our friend. They are very patient and you will not feel rushed. For me, the fact that they walked us through the entire process ahead of time helped us to feel more comfortable. For some reason, I didn't feel comfortable with a provider that just said come on over. The details about how the pet would be moved from the car were important to me. The Pines has it down to a science and you'll feel comfortable taking a loved on there.

I cannot say enough good things about this organization. They were truly wonderful at a very painful time for our family. I called to make arrangements a week ahead of time because we knew what was coming. They were very sympathetic and caring, helping us through the process and handling any requests we had. They picked up our pet from the vet and we picked up the creamains from them (by choice, they would have sent them back to the vet, if we wished.) Their facility is very peaceful and their staff continued to be as caring as they were on the phone. They provide many options and I thought the prices were more than reasonable. We chose to bury our pet's ashes at home, so at our request they put his cremains in biodegradable packaging. The price listed above includes transporting our pet from the vet to their facility and cremation (cremation price based on weight - our pet was 90lbs). I would recommend them to everyone.

The staff at The Pines are professional and caring. The pet cemetery is a beautiful, tranquil setting and good for just taking a calming walk through during your time of sadness. The Pines staff also includes some beautiful fluffy kitties who help calm your grief. The first time we used The Pines was especially stressful as our cat passed away suddenly. We had taken him the the C.A.R.E. Center, but there was nothing they could do. We arranged for the Pines to pick him up for cremation. They actually picked him up early, because we had wanted to go back and see him one last time before they took him, so the C.A.R.E. Center contacted them (on a Sunday) and arranged for us to come see him prior to the cremation. It was what we needed to help us. The Pines staff was very understanding and gentle. When our other cat passed away, we went to the Pines again for the cremation services based on our prior experience.

Last month my parrot passed away due to over-medication by the vet. I remembered how kind and considerate they were at The Pines, so I took my parrot there for cremation. The experience was the same as before. A lady met me at the door as soon as I walked in. We went into a small private room to discuss services and fees. I thought their fee was very reasonable and I just can't say enough good things about the staff. They truly understand how the loss of a pet can affect the owner and they are very sympathetic. I would definitely use them again should the need arise.

THE PINES WAS RECOMMENDED BOTH BY A VET AND A FRIEND. THE STAFF WAS COMPASSIONATE, UNDERSTANDING AND ACCOMMODATING. I WAS IMPRESSED THAT THEIR "OFFICE CATS" CAME TO KISS AND SAY GOOD-BYE. I WAS GIVEN LOTS OF HELPFUL POST-PET INFO, BUT NOT PRESSURED IN ANY WAY. THE GROUNDS AT THE PINES ARE PEACEFUL AND LOVELY. IN SPITE OF THE DRIVE TO LEBANON, I WILL CONTINUE TO USE THIS COMPANY AS NEEDED IN THE FUTURE.
