Window Universe

The whole process was wonderful. The initial sales visit was quick and to the point, provided us the brochure and a run down of what we were looking at. Left us with a simple smile and a, "give us a call if you'd like to proceed!". No pressure or long-winded sales pitches. Once we decided to go ahead with the order we called up the office, they scheduled the final measurement appointment for the next day, and then proceeded to send out email updates every Friday. That kept us informed on how long the ETA on the production was, and then once they received it, how long we could expect for scheduling the installation. We got the installation scheduled, the crew showed up right on time, got all of the work done professionally, and I didn't have any complaints with the workmanship. When the new-construction bathroom window was removed, a small chip of siding that had adhered to the frame came out with it. We found the chip, and they were able to re-attach and seal it up with color matching caulk. Really happy with the entire process, and I believe it was worth a slightly higher price to have the job handled so well.

This was our second time hiring Window Universe to replace some of the old windows in our home, and both times we've had a great experience. They are prompt and professional, give regular updates as you wait for your windows to be ready, and never try to upsell you on things you don't need or want. We will definitely hire them in the future!

Window Universe was great from the no pressure sale to adhering to the time frame they provided to the completed installation! The installers were friendly, efficient, protected the floors, and did a great job! I like that the installers are employees and not subcontractors. I am very happy with the entire process .

The installers were right on time! They cleaned up any messes that were made. Made sure the windows were cleaned after putting them in. Showed me how to operate the new windows. I will definitely use this company to replace the rest of my windows. My only complaint is how long it took to get them.

Everybody associated with the job was excellent. From Peggy who showed us all the window features in the showroom, to Dustin who was very helpful working with us on our front picture window layout, and finally Sam and his 3 helpers who did the final install. The 1st and 2nd story windows plus the storm doors were installed in 2 days which I thought was incredible. I thought we would have a big clean up job when they were done, but not so. The first thing they did upon starting up was to lay tarps down all over the place, wherever they walked and beneath and around the windows. They then had a powerful battery-operated vacuum cleaner they used to clean up any mess around the windows and doors after each install. The only job for us at the end was to re-hang the curtains and drapes and they even offered to help us with that. Finally, we absolutely love the windows, both how they look and operate.

Very happy with this company from sales, prep, install to clean up. Supply chain issues delayed our install, but updated weekly. Lead remediation issues with the upper windows too. While not the cheapest around, the overall experience and warranties offered led us to select Window Universe.

Everyone I encountered was very professional, responsive, and skillful. From contacting them to having men come out to do the work, it all went very smooth. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

Window Universe installed new windows throughout our house in February 2021. We received eight, yes EIGHT, quotes for the job (imagine sitting through that many demos!) and ultimately decided to go with WU based on their professionalism, price, and quality of window. From our first interaction, Andy was very professional - he did a remote quote for us and did some Zillow sleuthing to get a visual of our windows. He pointed out potential issues and made more thoughtful recommendations than the other sales guys that came out to our house in-person! The quote was provided by the end of the phone call so we didn't have to wait around for days. Next, Will came out to take measurements. He was very courteous, professional, and took COVID protocols seriously, which we greatly appreciated since we were like actual hermits before the vaccines were available. Will led the crew during install on a FREEZING two days. They were in and out and cleaned up their mess. We *did* have an issue with the butterfly handle on our awning window falling off. We were going to live with it but ultimately decided to call and see if we could get it fixed because it was a daily annoyance as it was right above the kitchen sink. Peggy was so nice and attentive and made sure to pass the service request to Dustin, who took care of scheduling straightaway. Both wanted to make sure we were totally satisfied. So, Will came back today. He sorted out our issue by replacing the handle piece. He also took the time to answer several questions we had now that we've lived with the windows for a few months. As for the product itself, Energy Star doesn't qualify every window out there but of the windows that DO get rated, OKNA outperformed or was at parity with all the windows in it's class: ProVia, Pella, etc. A note about the name Window Universe... do NOT get them confused with Universal Windows! That was the first company that quoted us and their price was $8000 higher. I think those sneaky guys pay money to make sure their company gets floated to the top of the Google Search if you type in "Window Universe" too so just be careful not to confuse them... Window Universe is who you want to go with!! All in all, we are 100% satisfied with the service, communication, professionalism, and product quality we received from Window Universe. Thank you!!

Even with a few set backs, the installation was completed in a timely, professional, safe manner to a "highly satisfied customer" end of project. I would hire these folks again. Installers exceptionally helpful.

They are always great they've done multiple projects for me over the years. Fair price and quality product.

We had looked for years to find windows that had exactly the right look for our small Tudor-style home. They had windows that came very close to what we needed, then Andy and the whole group at W.U. spared no effort (at no additional cost) in finding ways to customize the windows and installation to create the perfect outcome. The only additional costs incurred were from the company that had to be involved in refinishing the interior surfaces to our specifications. Andy had located a source for this and oversaw the entire process. Their service and the final results were extraordinary, and we can't recommend them highly enough.

They replaced 10 windows on the first floor in the back of our house in Rocky River. We choose them mostly for their excellent warranty. We researched this company on BBB and others and found very good info. Interacted with salesman, show room in Lakewood, and installation crew, all were professional and helpful. We also got quotes form others including Renewal by Anderson whose price was more than 3 times higher. Salesman offered some different suggestions that ended up saving us some money. Would definitely recommend.

I recently had 2 windows replaced in my home by Window Universe. Even with the pandemic the windows were ready and installed within the estimated time frame I was given when contracted the work. The stallers wore masks at all times and social distanced when in the house. They did not leave anything a mess. The windows look nice and work well--no drafts noted at this time. I would order from this company again.

After receiving 3 previous quotes I found WU on Angie's List. Their quote was the most reasonable for name brand Marvin windows. They were installed a couple of weeks ago and we couldn't be more pleased. The company was easy to deal with, no sales pressure, and the install team was prompt and efficient. If you sign with them be prepared to wait some weeks though - they seem to be very busy!

It is so easy buying windows from them. All the prices are set and listed on the quote. There is no pressure to buy up and no confusing sales or promotions. The windows are made by OKRA which has an excellent reputation for solid windows. You will get weekly updates on the status of your project. I want to expressly shout out to my installers, Erik and Marc who did an excellent job. All twelve windows were installed in one day. I would highly recommend Windows Universe for replacement vinyl windows

As always, Chad did a great job with the presentation and options and they were delivered and installed when promised.The Provia doors are incredibly well built and sturdy and a beautiful addition to our home. I'm sure they will last a very long time. (We were fortunate to have a very mild two days in January!) Installation was very quick, efficient and really well done. The french doors gave them a little bit of an issue due to the improper installation of the previous doors that came with the house, but they worked their magic with new moldings and a saw, and the end result was stunning. Everyone at WU are just wonderful to work with. They know their poducts, and take pride in their work and they never disappoint. It's so nice that all of the insallers are also animal lovers - especially with our house!

Excellent all around - from sales to installation! They were professional, nice, did great quality work, and cleaned up after themselves. Even one of the co-owners came out to help since one of the guys was sick because they didn't want to cancel. We were impressed! Will use this lovely local company again for our door/window needs! This is our first time using them, and were relieved it turned out so well, after previous poor experiences with other companies.

Window Universe was very professional. I was quoted the cost of replacement windows and the quote was just that...a confirmed quote. I was not given the runaround of discounts and within 15 minutes..another discount followed by a lengthy waste of my time with made up phone calls to “the boss”. The Window Universe crew arrived on time and were very cautious while working in my home....being aware of dirt or mud that may be brought in since it was raining throughout the time they were at my home. The crew did a fantastic job....worked quickly...and cleaned up after and were extremely courteous. I am very satisfied with them. As far as the Window Universe product...I am very satisfied with the product. Beautiful windows....the structure is solid....I have found no drafts....they are secure.....I would highly recommend Window Universe. Angela

From my initial quote till the installing team left my house, this has been a fabulous experience. Window Universe made buying windows simplistic with their straight forward , no bait and switch approach. The initial consultation with Chad was simple. One of the reasons I chose Window Universe is because the sell a great window-The Okna Echo Pro 600, so deciding to move forward was easy. The pricing is straight forward, which made it quick and easy. While waiting on my windows to be made and my installation date, Sharon updated me without fail every Friday. When my windows were installed the installation team was beyond my expectations. Not only were they very skilled, but extremely professional and very down to earth and friendly. I don't usually write reviews...but given the fact of all the horror stories regarding window companies, I felt Window Universe certainly deserved mention. This is a top rate company. They did everything they said that they would do. I give them my highest recommendation.

This company (Window Univers) was top-notch from start to finish. The sales team as well as the installers were just wonderful to work with. Always on time, ready to work for hours in the awful heat, they left their work areas spotless when they left each day. Our two cats and two dogs loved them as well! They were kind enough to even bring the dogs treats ( : We couldnt be happier with our finished project. The windows and doors are beautiful and operate so much easier than our original windows and doors. The price was very reasonable as well. We are already discussing our next project with them. I would whole-heartedly recommend Window Universe to anyone looking for replacement windows and/or doors.
