Excellent.  We have a 100 year old steam heat furnace that stopped working.  Technician was able to fix it in 15 minutes.  Well worth the 75 diagnostic.  They know their stuff.  All that was wrong was a loose screw so the pilot would not ignite.

I called multiple companies for bids on a replacement of my 27 year old Lennox Pulse high efficiency gas furnace/central air unit.  Lakewood Furnace was the third and final company I was calling for this job.
Brian from Lakewood Furnace came out and looked over my equipment and we discussed various models, the efficiency level of each, the relative complexity and potential support costs in the future of the various models and we reached an agreement on which model and features he would issue a bid on.  Then, we started to talk about the process by which they would replace my existing unit, how they would adjust my existing ductwork, how long the job would take and what steps would probably be done on each day.  We discussed the payment arrangements and Lakewood Furnace didn't require payment until the job was completed.  I was quite impressed with Brian's knowledge, experience, and attention to detail in describing what he would do.  Amazingly, after we were all done talking, he said that he would get me the quote in two days!  The other companies I asked for bid took on average a couple weeks each to return the proposal!
I received the proposal as promised and was able to spend the next month deciding which company to go with.  My wife and I decided to go with Lakewood Furnace.
We called to schedule the job and were given a tentative date about three weeks out, but they said they'd call after two weeks to confirm.  We talked again and they had to push it back another week but they said they would definitely make that date and apologized for having to push it back.
I was assigned Brian again as the installation tech, and he and a couple of different co-workers arrived promptly at 7am on the date scheduled and spent the next three days on the job.  The were able to get half of the new system up -- the air conditioning portion by the end of the second day, so we were able to use the air conditioner to chill down the house.  The third day they spent working on the furnace components.  They brought their own tools and cleaning supplies and cleaned up after the end of each day.  They were very careful to put down floor protection to help prevent damage while they brought out the old unit and brought in the new unit.
The old air conditioning condenser was removed, the previous concrete block was removed, they re-landscaped the ground and put gravel down under the new concrete block pad for the new air conditioning condenser, and made the new unit's cabling and tubing look way neater than the previous unit's installers.  The other companies would have used a cheap plastic pad that wouldn't last.
The installation is a work of art.  They sealed everything with some type of caulk/sealant that matched the color of the ductwork and a different color caulk that matched the color of the furnace in between the furnace and evaporator casing.  They re-worked the air intake and exhaust pipes in a cleaner fashion (it helped that this unit doesn't require a muffler like my old Lennox Pulse did!) and ran the air conditioning tubes in a completely different way that is now out of the way and way neater.  This job is impressive.
I've had the unit installed for five weeks now, and it's been working great.  The new programmable Wi-Fi Thermostat is amazing (it even displays the weather for the next week on the console) and is way more flexible than my previous Aprilaire programmable thermostat.  The best thing is that I can now also control the unit remotely from my cell phone, tablet, and computer so I can override settings, turn the unit off or on, and get more savings or turn the a/c on a little stronger if I'm coming home and need to chill.
They were very flexible and allowed me to spread the cost over various payment methods.
I definitely recommend Lakewood Furnace if you're looking for a new system.

Although Lakewood's bid was not the least, I was not comparing "apples to apples.! I believe I got what I paid for and more.  The salesman was not high pressure and after seeing my energy bills, advised me not to get a high efficiency furnace.  He was patient as I tried to comprehend the new furnace features.  Same was true for the A/C.  
  The workman was an artist and took great pride in his work.  Everything was done to perfection.  
  I would highly recommend these folks and their quality of work.

My air conditioner stopped working, which I basically attributed to the thermostat as it was not functioning.  I had them come out and take a look to make sure and that was the problem.  They came out promptly (same day I called) and corrected the problem quickly.  Only complaint is related to the price.  They installed a $30 thermostat from home depot and total time required was less 40 minutes tops, but total charge came out to around $200. That's one heck of a mark-up for a very basic thermostat.  Regardless of the price, I'm still happy with the service and responsiveness and would use them again.

Lakewood Furnace did not install our air conditioner.

My hot water tank stopped working due to minor flooding from recent storms.  They came out very promptly and repaired the water heater at a fair price.  I will certainly call them if I need anything additional in the future.

Lakewood Furnace was great! They communicated timing of the job, the guys that came out were very friendly and professional, and answered all of my questions along the way. The quality of work is great and everything was cleaned up when they left. I would highly recommend Lakewood Furnace!

On the coldest day of the year, I phoned at 1:00 and they showed up at 3:00.  I couldn't believe how prompt the service was. Cliff was very professional and explained everything to me.  He fixed the problem and ordered a part.  He also gave advice on making the furnace more efficient.  We will definitely use Lakewood Furnace in the future.

Brian and his crew went over and beyond their call of duty.  Hands down best Angie's List experience yet.  Brain was extremely thorough. Everything was done to perfection. 
They arrived on time, laid tarps down throughout the house and cleaned up after themselves.  For the work they performed they were by far the best price I received between the three estimates.  
The owner, Joe, was very polite when I spoke with him.  I told him that another furnace company said I had a cracked heat exchanger and I may need a whole new furnace.  He wanted one of his technicians to come out and take a second look at no charge.  Really impressive and very trustworthy people.
Going forward I will have Lakewood Furnace Co. handle my HVAC needs.  Thanks Joe and Brian!!!!!

The provider arrived when scheduled, was friendly and professional.  They also mailed forms to me later relating to the rebate that they had filed the forms and sent them in.  Very satisfied and happy with this provider.

Very, very well! The technician was really knowledgeable, friendly and punctual.

Gas Company had turned off our furnace because of a gas leak on Saturday morning.  Representative showed up quickly and fixed the problems.  Very professional and great service.

For the Aprilaire diagnosis, we were more than pleased.  The gentleman who came out for that part of our service was great and explained very carefully how that part of the furnace worked.  I now feel confident of what to try if this problem should re-occur.
