This business appears to hire employees who are strikingly courteous, attentive to details and proud of their work.  I was impressed with the entire crew who labored over two days to complete the job.  They were responsive to every question and respected our request to use specific entry and egress so as not to interact with the resident dogs.  They were confoundingly cheerful doing a job that would have made me surly.  Furthermore, it happened that a Lowe's delivery truck arrived with three exterior doors that we had ordered while Integrity was working.  It was embarrassing that the Lowe's delivery crew was appallingly lazy.  The work crew from Integrity Waterproofing ended up hauling the doors into the house!  Not their responsibility yet they remained pleasant as they took on this task.
Then there was a big two day rain.  Water backed up in the basement to a depth of about 1.5 inches.  A huge disappointment.  Most of the water appeared to come from the side of the house that had not been waterproofed, an area that was largely inaccessible from the basement and that had been fitted with something that the company called "Michigan walls".  However, the drain should have taken care of any water that came into the basement and it did not.
A two man crew consisting of Corey and Dee arrived to snake out the drain, a recommendation made when we phoned to complain about the standing water.  Again, these guys worked hard, snaked all the way to the street and pulled out some obstructions that were likely responsible for the backup of water.  They were pleasant and professional.  Until it rains again we will not know if this service corrected the problem.
I appreciate a company that listens to the customers who hire them.  Company employees repeatedly answered any questions we posed and completed their work with dispatch.  We liked them so much that we felt bad complaining about the water standing in the basement.  This is a company that stands behind its work and follows up with dispatch (and without additional cost) after the initial service is completed.  The company is aptly named "Integrity" Waterproofing.

It went well. They showed up as scheduled. They took a little longer than planned. The only hiccup we have had was a final inspection with the city, that has yet to be scheduled.

My wife and I recently purchased our first home.  We planned to refinish the basement and when we removed the drywall we discovered small cracks in our concrete walls.  Needless to say we were very concerned.  After countless hours of research we discovered Integrity's website.  We appreciated the company's approach to foundation repair and waterproofing and we noticed that they had received Angie's List's Super Service Award for the past decade. We joined Angie's List just so we could look at previous customer' reviews and were shocked to see that they were exceedingly positive.  We called Integrity the next day and set up a time for them to come look at our basement.  The owner of the company (Steve) came out and walked us through a very thorough inspection. - Here is where the company really lives up to it's name. - My wife and I were noticeably nervous about the condition of our basement and Steve could tell. He could have easily recommended a costly/unnecessary approach and had us running to max out our credit cards. Instead he informed us that the structure was fine and that he didn't believe repair was necessary at this time.  In fact he stated that, "if this were my home I wouldn't be worried." Now that's what I call integrity!! This guy drove all the way out to our house, spent time inspecting our foundation and provided us with an honest opinion instead of scaring us into purchasing a service we don't need.... My wife and I have since decided to hold off on refinishing the basement. We want the peace of mind of having it waterproofed CORRECTLY before moving forward. We will definitely hire Steve and his crew to do the waterproofing when the time comes. They are very reasonably priced and use the best techniques and materials available.

We were very pleased with the work. Integrity is knowledgeable about the latest methods and used a multi-step process that went beyond the typical tarring of the foundation. The owner thoroughly explained every detail in a meeting. Midway through the job, something unexpected came up and it was immediately handled for a fair price. I felt that we got a superior job for almost the same cost as other providers.
Throughout the terrible winter and large amounts of snow melting and heavy rains this spring, we have been completely dry. I highly recommend Integrity Waterproofing

Response from Integrity Waterproofing

"In most cases I feel the best solution is to dig and actually correct the problem, as opposed to allowing the water to enter and pump it back outside. There were several factors that lead me to believe that a water control solution would be adequate in this home. I am happy to refer a good company if I feel they may be a better fit. I, in turn, am pleased when a good competing company refers Integrity Waterproofing."

We were very impressed with the owner of the company, Steve. He's very straightforward and he gave us his honest opinion. He actually came out once before, about five years ago and didn't think we needed the work done then, which we were really impressed that he would say that. But when he came back this time, he said there was a problem and I needed the work done. We didn't end up going with him because the estimate was just too much money. I ended up doing some of the work myself instead.

The job went well. The owner has been out here before. He's seems to have a lot of integrity. He's very honest. He didn't try to sell me anything the first time he came out because it wasn't a problem that needed to be fixed. He's very honest and very capable. I had a couple of little issues with some shrubs of trees but the trees were put back in and everything was fine.

Update June 2015: So we had a torrential rain fall here in Rocky River where many basements were flooded.  I have to say there were NO water issues in the walls and floor in the water-proofed areas! Unfortunately we had storm water back up through the floor drain, so we have to replace the carpet, but because the walls were dry we are fine!  Although if I did it over I would recommend getting one of those back-flow preventers installed while Integrity is out digging for the waterproofing.

Everything went really well!
First contact/Quote:
Steve, the owner, contacted us back right away and set up a meeting (we had contacted several other companies and never got a call back).  He took his time to thoroughly look inside our basement, outside in the yard, and answered all of our questions.  We decided to go with them because (1) the type of product they use seemed superior (2) the price was reasonable (3) he showed us a list of others in our neighborhood who had used them in the past to see if we would like to contact anyone.
 Scheduling:
We signed the contract he left from the initial meeting and mailed it in.  The scheduler called us within a week and gave us an estimate that they would be able to do our house the end of July (they can't give an exact time because it's so dependent on the weather).
 Work:
It was mid August when they were able to get us on the schedule (we asked they push us back a week because of school starting).  It took a total of 3 days to complete the work.  The whole crew was friendly and eager to answer questions.  It's a family business so Steve's son was out every day.  They were pretty tidy considering what a messy business it is!  They took great care to put the plants in our hedgerow into a shaded spot and even marked where each plant came from so when they replaced them they were in the correct location.  They let our kids climb into the big excavator machine too which was fun.
Results:
We can definitely feel a difference when you walk into the basement-it was always very cool before which was really just the dampness.  Now it almost feels warmer in a way.  We've continued to run a dehumidifier down there per Steve's suggestion to get remaining moisture out of the block walls.
Smell-the only issue we had was that the smell of the tar coat that they put on lingered in our house for almost 2-3 weeks.  It was so strong at times we couldn't sit in certain rooms on the main level.  I will say that we had not completely torn out the paneled walls in the basement and I think that trapped some of the odor.  After ripping that out and running multiple fans 24 hrs a day to move air out of the basement it has finally cleared.

Our basement had standing water in a few corners after major rain or thaw periods.  Steve from Integrity Waterproofing came out to investigate the issue.  He was not exactly sure that the issue was waterproofing or a clogged sump pump drain.  He recommended having a plumber come first and scope the sump pump.  It did end up being related the sump pump drains which the plumber solved.  His honesty is tremendous!  If we do have any basement issues in the future, we will definitely be calling him since he gives you a honest and straight answer.

Steve was scheduled to meet me at my home at 6 pm on a work day.  There was a huge accident on the freeway to get to my house and traffice was backed up for miles, Steve called prior to 6 to let me know he would be a few minutes late, i was still on the freeway about 15 mins away and feeling bad that he was stuck in the same traffic asked if he wanted to rescheduled, to which he said no and would meet me when I got home.  I cannot say enough about him. He was at my house when I arrived, patiently waiting for me.  He was kind to my dogs as they barked at him.  He had a smile on his face even though he was sitting in traffic for an hour.  What sealed the deal on me using his company in the future is the fact that he didn't just go down and walk around and hand me a piece of paper with a 5 figure quote.  He asked me questions and I explained to him what I knew about the new home we just moved in about the water that may or may not have come from the storms we have had this summer. That after we redirected the rain pipes we haven't had water in the basement since.  Unlike some of the other people, he said that he didn't have enough information to really know if waterproofiing was needed. He advised me to wait it out through a couple of seasons and see what it does.  Since my basement was not finished, i'm not in a rush to do anything.  I appreciate the fact that he didn't scare me into waterproofing, and was honest enough to give me the advice to just get acclimated to my new home and see what happens before spending uneccessary money on something that may not need to be fixed.  I felt bad that he drove all the way to my house was stuck in traffice for a 15 min conversation.  But I definately will use his service in the future if needed.  Thank you so much, Steve!

When Steve Allen from Integrity first looked at our leaking basement issue in the fall of 2012, he did not try at all to sell us on his company's full excavation process. Instead, he suggested we contact the city to clean out the pipe leading to the street, suggesting this may be the issue. This was in contrast to some of the other company's who immediately tried to sell us their waterproofing plans, some of which involved water proofing from the inside, which probably would not have worked. When we determined that the pipe leading out was not the problem we invited another round of estimates. Integrity won the bid based on Steve's thorough explanation of the problem and his company's approach to fixing it, the strong reviews on Angie's list, and on price. It should be noted that Steve was also very respectful of other company's in the business. The work was scheduled promptly. Before digging began, they approached our neighbors whose driveway would need to be used by the large excavator. They explained to our neighbor that no damage would be done (none was). They used plywood panels to protect the drive and they cleaned up thoroughly immediately after use each day. The workers were courteous, professional and kind (they let us take a picture of our 7 year old daughter sitting on the seat of the excavator--engine off of course). They explained each step of the process as they went. The work was completed promptly in five days. New top soil was brought in to replace the old and they even replanted the box-woods that were removed at the start of the process. It has been nearly a year since the work was completed and we have had a completely dry basement, even during this past winter which included a lot of snow and rain.

I called Integrity Waterproofing to have my basement inspected due to water/moisture intrusion.  My wife and I moved into the home just over one month ago and were interested in seeing what could be done to remedy the water issue.  Our home inspector had a device to measure moisture on the walls and said it was rather high on the South wall of the basement.  The rest of the basement is "finished" to a degree that prevented the inspector from getting moisture readings on other walls.
I called Integrity due to the great reviews on Angie's List and I have to say that the company lives up both its name and reviews.  Steve came out and was extremely friendly.   He inspected the basement and outside of the house (foundation).  Steve then took time to sit down and explain to me, in detail, what needs to be done and how the work is performed.  It is clear that he takes great pride in his work and stands behind it.  Steve mentioned the company uses its own workers and pulls permits.  It was a wonderful experience with someone that is extremely personable, patient, and willing to answer any questions a person may have.
One thing I want to mention that having exterior waterproofing done can be rather expensive.  However, Steve does point out the problems with the internal "water control" systems and has the pictures to prove it.  It's best to do it right the first time.

"i must say this report was quite a surprise. I told the member we would do our best to fit this job in ahead of schedule, weather permitting. Unfortunately the weather did not allow for it. We reached out and scheduled for this coming Monday and he seemed good with the date. Today he posted an F report on my company, and I called and declined the job. By the way, of course we do have voice mail."

They did an excellent job. The workers were very courteous. They took the time to point out some other issues with our gutters when it rained hard so we were able to address that too. they carefully removed all of our landscaping and then replanted it when they were done. It looks great. You wouldn't even know that had excavated that whole corner of the house.
They communicated well about when they would be able to work and when they had to leave due to the weather.
It will take time to know if the waterproofing did the job but given my experience so far I would highly recommend.
