The crew that did the work, their names were Bill and Jim, I think, did an excellent job. It was a couple thousand dollars, but don't quote me on that. They're very, very courteous of the house. They put down sheets to keep from creating a kind of mess, and they are very tidy, and they respected the house very well.

Because our installer for the doors was out of town we left every thing in their boxes. When we went to install the patio door the info on the box looked right but when we opened it up the door was wrong. Because we had the old door destroyed we had to install something in the opening. Now we began a fight to get them to send us what we ordered but since the paperwork said we got what we ordered they would not fix or compensate us.

 We do not trust them to send the right items so our installer has all the info and will coordinate with Lowes when he wants it delivered.

Why there is such a difference between stores is strange.

They were great. They had really professional installers. They did a good job.

I was extremely impressed with Lowe's. I had seen the particular fireplace in a magazine so I went to Lowe's to get it. The gentleman who helped me went over basic construction of the fireplace and was really informative. The one thing that stood out was how courteous their employees were. As soon as I walked in the door there was dozens of employees ready to help me. When I finally did need help there was an employee right there by me. It's nice to know that they are so customer service oriented and I didn't have to search the store to get help.

They provided the estimate, salesman was excellent and very helpful, however the price for a 70' fence was over priced and they charge a $35.00 fee for just coming out but is applied to project if done by them. They refuse to give a refund if the work is not done by them. I would use them again but only if they would waive the $35.00 fee.
