Chris was on time and very friendly. He was willing to answer questions I had about the carpet at the house we just purchased. He took his time to clean the carpet and left me a bottle of spot cleaner at no extra charge. When I asked about cleaning the ceramic tile at the entry of the house, he was honest in stating the tile did not need professionally cleaned but could be done with some basic cleaners and a sponge. When speaking to Chris' wife, the business secretary, on the phone, she cautioned me not to use the plastic wrap with adhesive on the bottom, as it later attracts dirt. I appreciated her insight! Will continue to use Excel for future carpet and upholstery cleaning.

I own my own roof cleaning business and this small business is run great.  From my understanding it is a local / non-franchise business and as such you will save good money on the service.  The job was excellent.  The price even better.  They showed up on time.  Making an appointment was simple and I got quoted over the phone so I'd have an idea on price.  Carpet cleaning has always been a hassle for me with coupons everywhere, one room deals, and basically a bunch of sales tactics meant to confuse and cost more money.  With Excel you get a no BS, straight forward price. Very happy and impressed.

They are wonderful and reasonable. Would recommend them to others.

I've used Excel Fabric Care twice, once in October 2011 and again in May 2012 and they do excellent work.  Chris, the owner, and his wife are very friendly and professional.  We were impressed with their expertise in cleaning all types of carpets, fabrics and grout and are very happy with the results.  Excel is always punctual and the price is very fair.  They also specialize in more natural carpet cleaning processes which was important to us with a toddler who is constantly playing on the floor and Excel even bent over backwards to accommodate her nap times.  That's great customer service.  I HIGHLY recommend them!!!

We are having a 2nd baby, so we needed her new bedroom carpet cleaned as well as the carpets in our 2 year old's room.  I called Excel on Monday April 9 in the afternoon.  The individual who answered the phone (I apologize, I can't remember her name) was EXTREMELY nice and very helpful.  We ended up talking for a good 5 or 10 minutes, not only about scheduling the cleaning but also just general small talk.  I felt very comfortable talking with her.  In the end, she gave me a quote for cleaning those two rooms and I accepted.  I was able to schedule a cleaning for 8:00 this morning (Tuesday, April 10).  Whether or not they always have availability like that is unknown, but it sure was nice for us.

The cleaners showed up promptly at 8:00 a.m.  They were done by 8:30!  And the quality of the job was first rate.

But, what they did was much more than just clean the carpets.  They put down a lot of protection for our rugs, doors and walls.  We've had the carpets cleaned a few times before, but we don't remember seeing any other company do that.  In addition, the carpets dried pretty quickly, which was very nice.  By the time we got home from work, the carpets were, for the most part, totally dry.  We certainly could have walked on them if we wanted to (but we put on some fans just to make sure).

What was also very nice was that they use only natural cleaners.  So, we had no concerns about my wife (7 months pregnant) or our 2 year old breathing in any toxic fumes.

And that's not to mention how clean the carpets are.  One bedroom had some dog vomit stains that are gone.  Only one or two very small spots still remain, but we're not even sure if anyone would notice if they weren't looking for them specifically.  And, those were stains that had been there for a while (in other words, not the fault of the cleaners).

We will DEFINITELY use them again in the future and we would have absolutely no problem recommending them to our friends and families.

What a great company!  I was so lucky of find them.  They picked up the 8 area rugs and took them for cleaning.  They did a magnificent job.  The rugs have a new life.  Most of the rugs are wool and I can't remember them looking this good.  Stephanie was especially great to deal with and she kept me advised of the progress by phone.  When the rugs were returned and put back in place, they cleaned my big sofa and love seat in the family room.  They literally saved these pieces which had suffered great abuse from my cats who have hairball issues and had gotten sick on the furniture.  They also cleaned the attached cushions on my dining room chairs.  The rugs and furniture are good quality (Ethan Allen, Ralph Lauren), and now they all look brand new.  I could not be happier and will definitely use Excel again in the future.
