John was awesome, very professional and very knowledgable.  His work was top notch, it was done on time and passed inspection without any issues.

Great experience...Ryan was polite, professional, & no question he was on top of the situation.
Power out in 1/2 of house after cleaner turned on, breaker did not trip, so there was a tricky situation to figure out.  He was never at a loss of what to do...and located the problem in a large older house...bad/old wire junction.

It went very well, I was pleased with his work, he had to go to Lowes and buy a piece for the fusebox which saved me a lot of money, instead of buying a whole new box. very nice man.

He did know what he was doing, showed up when he was supposed to, and did what he was supposed to.  Their service was good but they were very pricey.  The original cost was $803 and after I complained about their price, they gave me back $75 after the job was done.  The guy was here only for three hours; that was a lot of money for a three-hour job.  I have a hard time getting around; I use a cane and a walker.  Normally I would have done the work myself but I cannot climb ladders and so forth.  I knew what he did and I went up to another place and priced the parts that he used, I even priced the high end products at that place and I came up with about $175 in material but Mr Electric were charging me just over $800.  To me, over $600 for labor is very pricey.  I had provided the light fixture and he only installed it. 

I called them and asked them if they could come and I got them. He came over and he thought he could repair the electrical box but it was gone. He went to the shop to buy a new one. He did a good job. I read some of the reviews about them and I like them.

He had to get a permit from the city, which costed him $35, yet he charged me $395 for this. After going over this him, he did return $115 of it. Mr. Electric cheats customers, as I felt they overcharged me for the work.

Water entered our 25 year old outdoor receptables which melted wires and blew a fuse.  He openly evaluated our outdoor plug uses and recommended the best way to update and correct issues to our pond and lighting.  He was relaxed and communicated easily.  We felt comfortable with all decisions. I would recommend him to anyone and request his return to our future needs.

I had been experiencing electric power fluctuations in my home. Whenever the furnace or central air would kick on the lights would flicker. I also had a few bad electrical outlets that needed to be replaced. Mr. Electric showed up to my home on time . The technician was very professional and courteous. He wore covers over his shoes to protect my floors. He did a complete diagnostic of my electrical system. He could not find what was causing the problem of my lights flickering. He said it most likely had something to do with an outside power line. He suggested I call the power company and have the lines checked. The power company came out and checked my outside power line and found a bad connection and fixed it. Mr. Electric did find four faulty outlets in the living room and fixed them.

I chose Mr. Electric because of positive feedback on Angies List.  I scheduled an appoinment for an estimate with a "live" person which was very refreshing for a change.  I received They came on time at the s a call the morning of the appoinment to notify me that the electrician was on his way.    Work was performed to complete satisfaction by Ryan who also cleaned up the scraps and vacuumed the dust after he was done.  Overall a pleasant experience.

t the areaI purchased two new exhaust fans at a nearby Home Depot. The exhaust fans were to be installed in the master bath and another full bath located on the upper level of my home. I asked Home Depot to install the exhaust fans and they arranged for Mr electric to do the actual install in my home. The electrician arrived on time and I showed him where the two exhaust fans were to be installed. The electrician lald a tarp on the floor to catch any dirt and debris created during the install process. the install went without incident and the electrician removed all dirt and debris from the install. He cleaned the areas and made sure he left the area in the same shape as when he started.

Mr. Electric was great. I like them very much, they were pretty good. He explained to me what needed to be rewired and what was and was not necessary.

The service was excellent. The thing we liked when we called we were able to talk to a live person.  They set up right then when a technician would come to our house before making an actual appointment so that they knew exactly what needed to be done.  They were respectful and cleaned up after the job was done. I would definitely recommend to anyone else.

The electrician did a thorough walk through of the house both exterior and interior and really took his time.

It went well.  It took a while, as the problem with the cable gave out some false positives when trying to locate the 'break'.  Once found, it was a rather quick repair.  The two guys who came out were highly professional.  We were extremely pleased with the speed, diligence, and outcome of the job!

We previously used Mr Electric and spent a substantial amount of money.  Recently contacted them again for a smaller job and waited all afternoon for a "scheduled" appointment between 12-4.  Called once they never showed, late in the afternoon, and I was told they were too busy with another job.  In my opinion this was incredibly unprofessional and not a good way to treat repeat customers.

He was excellent.  The quality of his work was excellent.  He cleaned up and he was more than reasonable in his price.  He showed us how to fix the one fan ourselves the next time.  I can't say enough good things about him.  He was superb.

We contacted Mr. Electric based on a friend's recommendation. We  made an appointment through the website and the company followed up by phone to set an exact date and time.
The technician arrived early, after phoning to be sure his earlier arrival would be okay. He listened to a description of the problem and went to work troubleshooting. He quickly discovered that the circuit in question covered more than just the kitchen and included outdoor outlets as well (one of which was the problem). He replaced the outdoor outlets with a newer variety that would protect against a recurrence of the problem, but we ditched the pump as well. 
Prior to completing the work, he provided a full estimate which was fairly priced. He completed the work swiftly and was very friendly. We would definitely use Mr. Electric in the future.

Mr. Electric are very prompt. Very thorough in explaining in what needs to be done and that is reflected on the estimate so there is not well you told me this.  Very thorough in their verbal quote and it is just as good as their written quote as far as explanation of terms of service. They have a good price, I have had lower, but I am always a little leery of lower and whether it is a safety issue. I would use them again.

did a terrific job very thorough knows what he is doing. I used this company to install my generator and a whole house surge protector. The Office people and service techs are a pleasure to work with, keep up the great work.

I purchased bath exhaust fans from a home center provider and used their contractor service to have them installed. Mr Electric was the contractor who contacted me and made an appointment for a free estimate. The Electrician arrived on time for the estimate. I explained what I wanted done, he surveyed the job and wrote an estimate. I accepted the estimate and asked when could an appointment for installation of the exhaust fans be made. He said right now, If my schedule permitted. I agreed and he proceeded to install the fans as agreed. Additionally, the venting of the fans into the attic space was corrected with the installation of flexible venting. The electrician wore protective covering over his shoes so he wouldn't soil my carpeting or floors as he moved around. He also covered the floor in the baths during the install process and thoroughly cleaned up prior to his leaving my home.

They are professional and prompt. They show up when they say they will. They do a quality job. Their prices are comparable.

Tom Lamp (owner) came to our house at the scheduled time.  He went through our 110 year old home and listened to what we wanted to change and even gave us great ideas of improvements we didn't think of. He didn't pressure us into anything we weren't already thinking about doing. The quote that he gave us was about where we thought it should be.  We are definitely going to use Mr. Electric with Tom Lamp for our rewiring/electrical needs.
