Tri State Painting

The people at Tri-State Painting are excellent. We have been fortunate enough to have them paint two of our homes. They bend over backwards to accommodate customer schedules and timelines while providing perfectly painted rooms. They are top-notch and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of painting services.

We signed the proposal at the end of November, 2021. Work was started on 8.29.2022 and completed on 9.02.2022. Keeping in touch with Tri-State Painting to get a starting date was a challenge. The office does not commonly get back in a timely manner (actually a lot of time to get back to the customer) or didn't get back to me (at all). I persisted and persisted because we wanted to get this paint job done.....I didn't give up at the risk of being a pain in the butt. Frankly, I was frustrated with the poor communication skills. But, I hung in there! Tenacity is a trait that I am proud of. The workers that painted were skilled and did a great job on the house and the needed carpentry. They worked hard and didn't seem to slack off. I was happy about that since this project was projected for May, 2022 and got started in August, 2022. Chris, the owner of this company, was very competent concerning his knowledge of paints, painting, preparation work, trim work, etc. He is the focal point of this company's success (as he should be). I got honest answers to questions and good advice. Clean-up was on the last day and was a success. Two motion detectors were ruined during the cleaning preparations' day (from the high-power water and aiming issues). They worked around our plantings very well. On the whole, a great paint job, lousy communication skills prior to initializing the job, paint and painting knowledge was evident with all workers and the owner, work ethic(s) were good, friendly and they all paid attention to details. I plan on using Tri-State Painting in 2023 for the interior of my house. John Gagliardi

Chris, Amber and team were excellent to work with. They were highly responsive coming out to estimate the work, returning multiple times as project needs changed. They were adaptive, working with our shifting schedule as we navigated the arrival of a grandchild. When the team arrived to do the work, they were efficient, planning the best way to get done as soon as possible. They were cautious, moving and covering furnishings and floors. They did an expert job painting, removing fixtures first, cleaning and priming surfaces and mindfully, brushing and rolling with care. Finally, Chris went above and beyond, assisting with minor patching and repairing of wall surfaces, removing old security panels and more to ensure a finished final job. The house looks simply beautiful. Highly recommended.

My dark brown cabinets are now bright, white and beautiful thanks to Nick and Dan who did a wonderful job. They are pleasant professional painters who always arrived on time and took care of everything.

Nick and Dan did an excellent job on painting our entire home. They were even great with my adhd grandson and hyper dog. Would use Tri State painting again.

We contracted Tri-State Painting to paint the interior of our new home, including painting all of the stained trim and door frames. The team was great! They were on time every day and very informative and flexible with us as we had to make some changes in our choices during the process. The job took about 2 weeks given the scope of work. If I would have tried to paint all of this trim myself I'm convinced it would have taken me a year or more to complete. They were very detail oriented and extremely attentive to our needs. Would definitely hire them again!

I have had never had contractors over my 23 moves across states and types of residences that could exceed the pride and perfection Nick and Dan performed in my condo...They worked diligently and paid attention to every detail. They were like artists with their skills as they converted my home into a palace. They are so serious about their work and I feel blessed that they worked in my home. I will have them back as they have encouraged me to add to their expertise.!!!!!!!

I should of listened to some of the reviews, and not wasted my time. I had reached out because I wanted my house painted. I called and set up a time for a quote. I even took off work, and rearranged my schedule. Chris came out and seemed very professional. He went over a few things with me. He asked for a few days to give me a price. I called and never got a response. I never heard from him again. Why waste your time and mine of you have no intention of doing a job. It's very unprofessional.

Excellent! A one-stop-shop. Not only did they do the painting they did all the repair work (tuck pointing, wood replacement)

GREAT!! The building Exterior has not been paint in my forty years at the church. The wooden doors at the narthex look like new, not the spider web finish. They cleaned the stone architecture features. They appear like new. I would hire them again in a minute.

These guys were great. They were extremely detailed and spent a lot of time on prep which is key to making it last. The products they recommended were superior to their peers. I believe that we have a paint job that will outlast what I would have gotten from others.

Person came out for the estimate on a Friday. They said the estimate would be sent the next week. It has been several weeks now and I never received an estimate. I did try and call, but it only goes to voicemail.

Chris and his team did an excellent job! They were easy to work with, responsive to all communication, and did a stellar job. Price was very reasonable as well. I have no issues at all and will hire them for any painting I do in the future.

Nick and Chris are great to work with. I'm beginning to lose count of how many times they have worked for me. They show up when they say they will, clean up after themselves, put furniture and pictures back where they were. These are the things that I appreciate.

Tri State did and excellent job in prepping and painting all the exterior woodwork on a large church sanctuary and steeple. Used premium materials and did some wood trim repair on the church prior to painting. Cooperated with church agent in order to work around church activities. Excellent clean up each day and upon project completions.

Company also cooperated with church agents to schedule around planned church activities. Excellent clean up during and after work was completed.

The result was excellent, the cost was very fair and as quoted. The team of Nick and Dan are great to work with and very professional. They always cleaned up and kept us informed of the status and timeline. We will definitely hire them again.

Came out and appeared to be very detailed in their assessment and pointed out additional work that could be done, then never sent over their quote. I asked several times via message and phone call and was told it was coming, and it never did. I wanted to give them my money, waited for their estimate, and got behind in my scheduling because by the time I gave up my second choice had booked other work and couldn't get to me as quickly. If you don't want to do the work, just tell me so I can make other arrangements.

Tri State Painting is a superior company. We have hired them for 3 projects at our home over the past 7 years. Many years ago I interviewed and received estimates from 4 companies, and Tri State was, and still is, the very best. Since 2013 they have painted the entire interior of our home, the exterior, and just recently painted the deck, did drywall repair, remodeled our half bath, beautifully painted laundry room cabinets and installed laminate flooring. Chris Kash and his team are amazing to work with. They are very detailed oriented and professional. He and his team were always on time, on schedule, and stayed on budget. Chris is very easy to communicate with and has made great recommendations with excellent results! I would highly recommend Tri State Painting. There is no other painting company I would trust more with the care of our home. In fact, we are in the process of buying a new home and are looking forward to working with them on a new project!!

Owner Chris was very responsive to my initial request on Angie’s List and throughout the 3 day project. The crew Nick, Dan, and Chris were punctual, efficient, professional, courteous and could not have asked for a better team! I was working on a separate project and Nick even loaned me his mitre saw to help me!! I could not give these guys and Tri State Painting a high enough recommendation. Just excellent.

If you are looking for a professional company that does an excellent job of painting as well as being very conscious of things like cracks, uneven walls, calking issues, nail pops, nail holes, things that if you merely painted over would still look bad, then this is your company to hire. My house looks better now then it did 12 years ago when we built it. They did a beautiful job and well as great clean up from painting and sanding. This IS the company for you! Can't tell you how happy we are!
