House was built in 1930 and has had a couple additions over the years. 
James came out in July for the estimate, had some great ideas for the roof and house. (Recommended the Storm rated shingles, most would think of this as an up-sell. But we actually got a discount on our Home owner's insurance policy)   Archie & his crew started work on the roof, super professional and cleaned up daily.  One of the biggest challenges to the roof project was re-sloping a portion to encompass a new covered porch and to eliminate an old flat tar roof from a previous addition. Archie knocked it out of the park, completely changing the look of our home from street adding curb appeal.  House wrap, soffit, siding and gutters followed the roof work. Attention to detail is an understatement. The crew made us feel at ease and kept us in the loop the entire time. Asking questions to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. And they were able to make changes on the fly.

James and his crew are super friendly and up front about everything that is involved.  His crew showed up early and they worked very hard all day long.  They stayed way longer than I have ever seen a group of workmen stay at a job site.  They worked non stop at getting the work done.  They were very friendly and greeted us every day as we went in and out of our home.  Even though the work on our home involved stripping our entire house of all its old siding, removing an old front porch awning, which was a huge mess, they did a great job of keeping everything as neat and orderly as possible.  I was amazed at how quickly the house was transformed from the old siding to the new siding once they got started.  We shopped around to many siding companies and Primo Exteriors LLC was by far...the most for our money and I enjoyed speaking directly to the owner of the company. I could call James or text James at any time with any questions and he contacted me back in no time.  I was also impressed by all the little extra touches they did on our house I wasn't really expecting, the trimming, light socket coverings, air vent covering, those just really go the extra mile to finish off the house.  I appreciate their attention to detail.  They cleaned up the yard and all surrounding area so no debris was left after the job was done.  James even came back personally to recheck with a huge magnet that all screws, metal, etc was picked up from our yard after the job.  He also checked that the gutters/downspouts were working as they should be.  No more cleaning nasty clogged gutters!  He has a real attention to detail that a lot of business owners just don't have.  I really appreciate this when I am giving someone my business and money.  I highly recommend Primo Exteriors LLC for any type of home improvement needs and we will definitely be calling them again in the future.  Our house looks like a totally different house!  It is beautiful.  I love it!  Thank you Primo Exteriors LLC!

James at Primo Exteriors was able to respond to my telephone call on the same day. We arranged a meeting on a particular day and time, and he was punctual. He was also a good communicator as we set up the details of what needed to be done and when it could be done. I found him professional AND personable. The service seemed very reasonably priced and after getting the estimate from him, communication continued via email...he always responded to any question I had. The work was done within a very reasonable time frame even though his is a busy company. In today's world finding good services is difficult. People don't call you back, they miss appointments, or don't do what they say they are going to do. James at Primo was a wonderful exception. I would definitely work with him again.

Contacted James Cox and received the proposal in June.  His company was very busy and he told me it would be late Fall before work was done so I knew to be patient. The material was delivered and his crew began the tear-off of all wood siding on my 120-year-old house. I wanted them to leave all of the original wood trim around the windows and on the corners. I was told that on old houses with a lot of old paint the tear-off of the siding could crack and remove wood trim. They were successful at leaving the trim and corners! They replaced 2 of 5 corner trims that were rotted out.  They went the extra mile to replace it with wood cut and trimmed to match the existing corners. They replaced the bottom freeze board with Hardie trim and installed special mounts for lights and electrical boxes.  The siding is perfectly level and smooth and square.  They did a fantastic job.  Of course they cleaned up all debris and nails and old wood and hauled it away.

Primo Exteriors did an excellent job on my siding. The crew was very nice and cleaned up after each day they worked. They were very particular on the small details as far as trim and fixtures. The trim around the windows turned out better than when the house was new. James Cox the owner was a little hard to get in touch with at first but I found out he had voice message problems and you cannot plan for those type of problems. I started texting him and found out what was going on and he responded  back immediately with me texting until his phone problem was resolved. Very honest and up front. I would definatley use them again.

There was no follow through and didn't go well.

It only took his crew two days. Day one they performed scaffolding set up, tear off, and was able to install the first row of panels. On day two the job was completed, along with equipment removal and clean-up. The crew took every precaution to protect my property. I occasionally monitored the installation as James Hardie Co. has specific install instructions of their product and I researched to insure proper install. The crew followed every spec, ie: using Hardie wrap over the sub structure, holding a quarter inch above the bottom flashing using galvanized ring shanked nails and pneumatic guns adjusted to flush surface nailing.

Everything went extremely well and the work is beautiful.  It was Archie's crew that were the ones that worked on our house and we particularly recommend that crew. They took great pride in the quality of their work.

James came out within 24 hours of my original phone call. He provided us with extensive information on potential causes and possible fixes for our issue. He was upfront about what fixes we might do by ourselves as well as pricing for a new gutter system. There was no pressure. Will likely use this company should we need additional roofing/gutter solutions.

James was a pleasure to work with - he was professional, honest, and reasonable.  His workers were courteous, hard-working, and responsible.  They did a great job on the roof and on cleaning up after the job was complete.  I would recommend them highly.

WOW!  Not sure where to start, but James is a stand up guy!  First of
all, he was the only one of 5 contractors that I contacted (all off of
Angie's List with great ratings by the way) who called me back.  He came
over the next day and gave me some great, solid advice.  He told me he
was 3 weeks out from being able to start my project (one that was under a
tight time crunch) and told me HONESTLY that he wouldn't be able to
start right away.  He then picked up his phone and called a GREAT
carpenter and asked him if he could come out the next day and perform
the job.  James spent almost an hour at my house and gave me great
guidance, even though he knew he wasn't getting any work.  He will be
the FIRST person I call from here on out.  GREAT service, thank you.

This is going to be one boring review. I can"t say enough good things about James Cox and his men at primo exteriors. Let"s start with the responsiveness. James always answered or called back immediately when I had questions or concerns-a rare thing in this business. On the job site his men were totally professional at all times and extremely nice even when I had somewhat silly questions. Everyone tried to work with my husband and I when we saw something we were not happy with (did not happen but once) to resolve the issue which they did. James worked with us to give us a great price for the work because he had an idea that other companies weren't willing to talk about and it worked beautifully. We are extremely happy with the quality of the job and that is saying something because my husband is a quality director at his job! James team showed up in the dead of winter sometimes in the snow (this was done in February) and I would ask "it is freezing out-what are you doing here?" Well they were here to get the job done and they did. We are very happy with the investment we made in our home due to James and his team. The improvement in the looks of our home with the hardie siding over our old cedar is tremendous. All in all we couldn't be happier!

They came and tore off all the old and wrapped the house and garage in Ty-vek. Then they trimmed out the house, putting on the soffits and the fascia and putting up the siding. The crew then finished it up by helping us to redo the railing on our porch and put in a new storm door which we contracted with the crew separately from the other work. They did a great job. We have gotten so many compliments on the work done on the outside of our house. It looks like a brand new house. We couldn't be happier. The crew worked so hard and we so appreciate all they did to make our house look so beautiful. Thank you Primo!!!!

They came out and took out our old pulley windows and replaced them with vinyl windows. It went very well. They were very quick and thorough.

Very quick response time.  I purchased big deal last evening and they were at my house by 3:30 pm today.  It was very cold and I had 6 inches of snow in my yard.  They started on the job immediately.

Tear off and instalation went very well.

The service went very well. As a matter of fact, it ended up very affordable and the folks were very quick. They did the job excellently. They came within about four hours; it was really quick. They did not charge more than the Big Deal. It was a very good service. As a matter of fact, I did not even see them. They came out. I was at work. They did it. They just let me know it was done and it was done very well. They were very punctual.

The work crew did a great job. They were done in about 30 minutes and were very professional. The only small negative was that the owner tried to "upsell" me into replacing the vinyl siding on the entire side of the house for $1500. He said that if it was his house, that's what he would do. He was probably right, but that's not what I wanted. In the end he did as I asked and I believe the repair job will last for another 10 years.
