+ -1 morei was trying to get and surprise my fiance' with a kindle fire. all of the gift cards i was given were not working the checkout girls acted liked i was holding them up! i felt embarrassed and frustrated, not only that i have a credit card with them and they lowered my amount because the changed companies since they are going bankrupted!! i had great credit until these jerks changed companies......just a bad overall experience!!!!!

+ -1 moreNot worth the price in labor and in my experience short cuts were made if you know were to find them.
Description of Work: I had purchased a new stereo, amplifier, new speakers for front and back. I took the parts to best buy to have installed while I was working at my job. They estimated it would take couple of hours and would be around $200-$300 dollars in labor. I arrive at the store before close "dropped my car off in the morning" and found out that the speakers and amp were installed but the stereo could not because they did not have correct adapter for it. They did not charge for the removal of the factory one but I was charged extra for "custom labor" for supposedly having to trim pieces of factory plastic to make my stuff fit. As I became more aware of my car and with a friend in audio we installed the stereo with harness and checked out their work. Nothing was cut to make the speakers fit wires were sticking out were they could be hidden under factory plastic etc. We ran the lines to be hidden and the job they did was decent but being charged for custom labor rate was not called for just because the speakers were not factory size they just screwed two screws in to hold it in place and hoped no one would notice and charged extra! This job else where could have been done sooner and for $100 cheaper so I payed for my mistakes please learn and dont make yours here.

tv repair
+ -1 moreThey were excellent. They come out and repaired it (the TV set) for under $200. The price was for service call and parts, everything. It actually floored me. He (the repairman) was dead on. He actually had to make two trips because he didn't have the part he needed on the truck but it wasn't his fault since it wasn't his truck. He didn't charge me for the second trip. He came out the next morning and had it (the part) in installed in under a hour.
Description of Work: They repaired my 65 inch wide screen HD JVC TV.

+ -1 moreThey told me they could install the stereo the day I bought it. After about a half hour, they realized that the parts inventory in their computer didn't match their actual inventory. They didn't have the right parts. They told me to check back in a few days. After checking back several times over the course of two weeks, they finally told me to go to another Best Buy location (which was 45 minutes away from me) to have them install it. Granted, it's a new store, so I understand the computer glitch, but they didn't handle it that well.
Description of Work: They installed a new car stereo in my car.
