About us
Price Heating & Cooling is a small 3rd generation family owned business that has been serving the Mahoning Valley for over 79 years. We specialize in the repair, maintenance, and installation of residential and light commerical heating, cooling, zoning, and geo-thermal systems. We have 14 employees with a combined 205 years of experience. We maintain licences in all communities, counties were needed, and through the State of Ohio. Our local licence numbers are available through the counties and our State licence number is 33376. We provide service on a flat rate basis and have a service fee of $65 for residential and commercial service. We offer 24 hour emergency heating service with a service fee of $98 evenings and Saturday and $130 Sunday and holidays. We offer a prepaid maintenance agreement for as low as $23 a month that includes service discounts and a loyalty program that accrues points towards new equipment, (2) equipment checks as well. so far everything has been great. The first call was an emergency and they came in and fixed the problem as quickly as they could and we got heat and then had them back for the service call.

After my initial meetings with several local heating and cooling contractors, it appeared a no brainer to go with Price. This decision proved to be 100% accurate. "Bill" met me at the house to accomodate my working hours and detailed what my best option for heat would be. I couldn't be more satisfied with the end result. The particular unit that he calculated that would work best for me has absolutely no issues with any temperature that I want. On the same line, he talked me out of the over-kill model I was also contemplating. Two workers came to the house to install the unit very early in the morning - again working around our schedule. These guys were very professional - not kids that jump from job to job who've been working in the industry for three months or less.
A very good experience - particularly after the one we endured in the construction of the house that this unit was installed (see my Ramunno Construction review). I would highly recommend this business.

Mr. Byce was at my home approx. 30 minutes after I called. This was on a Sunday afternoon. I'd just returned from a business trip and found the temperature in my home at 52 degrees. I found his name at Angie's List. I was VERY impressed with his promptness, talent and for taking the time to explain to me what he had done and what still needed to be done. I have scheduled an appointment for next week for servicing my furnace. I am so happy that I called him.

They came earley in the morning and worked steady all day.
It was a very cold day and they gave us portable heaters to use overnite..
They used their own drop cloths and wore booties to enter the carpeted rooms.
This crew was very professional.
