They explained exactly how they would do the project. The owner did the estimate. He came out with the man who did the work to introduce him to me. There were only two studs in the wall by the tub! Use them. Keep up the good work.

They were very good at the work, they were very helpful, and I had to call them back after the home inspection to do some other work that was unforeseen. The quality of the work was good and the price was reasonable.

I liked the fact that they charge you for an estimate, because they give you considerable info and you aren't morally obligated to use them. They also, deduct that fee if you have the work done. The work was very satisfactory. The workmen didn't always show up, when I expected them to, but they got it done (even though the weather was problematic). These people take the trouble to satisfy the customer.

I left the message on 10/4/2006 and they called me back on 10/9/2006 after I had already hired someone to do the job. The woman who called said they were on vacation and that's why it took them so long to call me back.

These guys came out to look at an attic fan. The handyman spent fifteen minutes looking at the fan and he made a slight bend to a fan blade. The next day the fan stopped working. I called the company and explained that the fan was broken again and mentioned that I thought it was imbalanced. I requested another service call because the first one only lasted fifteen minutes. The rep said that the fan "just took a dump", basically claiming that the motor failed because it was old. I was really disappointed in this response, so I explained that I felt dissatisfied by the nature of the first service call due to the short time spent at my property and because the fan broke again a mere 24 hours after adjustment. The reply from the company was that the motor failed, and they gave me a downright refusal to even check if the motor was broken, which was all I wanted. The reason given was that they had already paid to send someone out.

"WE DID NOT "POCKET" THE $20.00 ESTIMATE FEE. EACH AND EVERY ESTIMATE FEE IS ACCOUNTED FOR ON ANNUAL INCOME TAX RETURNS, REGARDLESS OF HOW HOMEOWNERS PAY, I.E. CHECK OR CASH. THE HOMEOWNER CONTACTED US FOR A QUOTE FOR SEVERAL ITEMS THAT WERE IN NEED OF REPAIR BEFORE HE MOVED. ONE OF THE ITEMS WAS TO INSPECT THE ATTIC FAN, DUE TO A RUBBING NOISE THE FAN WAS MAKING. THE HOMEOWNER WAS INITIALLY PROVIDED WITH A VERBAL ITEMIZED BREAKDOWN OF REPAIRS. AS HOMEOWNER WAS PLANNING TO MOVE AND DID NOT WANT TO INVEST MONEY IN REPAIRS, HE ASKED US TO PROCEED ONLY WITH THE FAN INSPECTION. HOMEOWNER SIGNED DETAILED CONTRACT FOR AN UNHEARD OF PRICE OF $52.00 (AFTER DEDUCTIONS OF 10% DISCOUNT AND ESTIMATE FEE), TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING WORK QUOTED VERBATIM FROM CONTRACT, "INSPECT FAN FOR RUBBING NOISE, MAKE MINOR ADJUSTMENT AND/OR TIGHTEN LOOSE BELT(S), IF APPLICABLE. CONTRACT DOES NOT INCLUDE REMOVING AND/OR REPLACING PART(S), NOR TRAVEL TIME TO PURCHASE PART(S)". OUR TECH INSPECTED THE FAN AND STRAIGHTENED A BENT BLADE, WHICH STOPPED THE RUBBING NOISE. HOMEOWNER ADVISED OUR TECH THAT HE DAMAGED THE FAN BY STEPPING ON A BLADE WHILE MOVING CONTENTS FROM THE ATTIC. THE FAN WAS IN WORKING ORDER WHEN OUR TECH LEFT. THE HOMEOWNER WAS BILLED $52.00, NOT $85.00 AS HE ALLEGES. THE HOMEOWNER CALLED A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER AND ADVISED THE FAN WAS NOT WORKING AT ALL. AS THE FAN WAS 20 YEARS OLD, DON ADVISED THE HOMEOWNER TO CONTACT OTHERS TO REMOVE AND REPLACE THE FAN."

They did an excellent job all the way around! My in ital call was returned promptly and the appointment for the estimate and work were scheduled at my convenience. Don arrived with Rodney and Jim and explained the work to be done. They were fast, efficient and a pleasure to work with. I will, without reservation, contact the staff at Punch Out Plus to help me with other home repairs and projects!

I was very, very impressed with this company. They were timely in getting out to give me an estimate and perform the work, and did a great job. Best of all "however", is that they had great communication. The owner called me to let me know he was running late, even though it was only by 10 minutes. He provided me with a contract exactly when he said he would and followed up the day after the job was completed to make sure that it was to my satisfaction. I will definitely use them again.

punch out plus is a marvelous company to work with. Don Britton the owner came out promptly to give us an estimate. he was very courteous and really listened to what I wanted. his bid seemed reasonable to me so I hired him. his workmen arrived exactly when they said they would. each workman was courteous, worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. it is now a couple weeks later and everything works perfectly. I would recommend this company and give them top marks. the next time I need some house repairs this is the company I'll go to.

They met me on site to prepare a quote. They charged a $20 estimate cash prior to preparing one. He did show up at the time promised to meet me and look at the job. It took about 2 weeks to get the quote back AFTER I called him 3 trimes asking where it was. Then, his quote was 3 times other quotes. I was not impressed. It seems like he knows what he is doing, but check others first.

CONSIDERING THE COST OF MATERIAL ALONE, I BELIEVE THE $2,200.00 MAY BE MISLEADING, AS WAS THE HOMEOWNER’S STATEMENT OF MY PRICE BEING THREE TIMES HIGHER. MY BID WAS $3,300.00, A VERY COMPETITIVE PRICE, AND CLEARLY NOT THREE TIMES HIGHER. I APOLOGIZE FOR THE DELAY IN GETTING THE ESTIMATE TO THE HOMEOWNER. ESTIMATES ARE PERFORMED IN ORDER, AND I HAD A FINISHED BASEMENT AND SEVERAL OTHER LARGE JOBS THAT WERE REQUESTED PRIOR TO THIS ONE. THE NOMINAL ESTIMATE FEE (WHICH IS REFUNDED IF WE DO THE WORK) IS THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED TO ALL HOMEOWNERS, BEFORE THE ESTIMATE IS EVEN SCHEDULED, THAT THE FEE IS PAYABLE WHEN I ASSESS THE WORK TO BE PERFORMED."

Don is a very nice person and is very concerned with keeping his customers happy. He follows up well and makes sure his help is doing what he expects of them. His workers are very clean, neat, polite, experienced professionals that treat your property and you with respect and clean up after themselves very well. I would definitely use them again.

The price was right. Everything went well. He does make you sign a contract, and there's a trip fee (minimum fee is 75). He's very accommodating.

Again, the work that I hired Mr. Britton and his workers to do was done very well. It was done in a timely manner and the stain was applied neatly and looks very professional. I am pleased with the job performed by this company.
