Matt took our $1243.90 down payment per his contract. Showed up to start prepping walls and priming the ceiling and then never showed up again. He didn't want us prepping any of the walls and we agreed to that. He texted apologizing that he was behind because of the weather and that he would be to our house that week and never showed up. He texted again a few weeks later apologizing again saying he would be there and never showed up. Employees at Sherwin Williams confirmed he was still actively buying paint so we knew he was still working but he has yet to respond about our property, the money he took from us, or the complaint sent to him from the BBB. We have requested a refund but he is not responding to texts, phone calls, emails or the BBB. He may have to respond to court papers if he doesn't respond to the others. We trusted him because he did a good job on the first house, but will do what we need to do to make sure consumers know he doesn't have an issue with taking their money and not performing the work.
