In the process of selling my home, I had to get a full roof replacement. I contacted Ohio Exteriors and one other company for quotes. They provided a quick turnaround on the quote (less than 48 hours) and beat the other company by nearly $1000 for the same result. The actual work got delayed a few times, but not their fault - it was just a heavy winter with lots of snow! And though there was a weather delay, I was able to work with them to get all the requirements needed so it wouldn't affect or delay the closing on our house. When they were finally able to get a break in the weather, the job was done all in one day. Throughout the process, I had excellent communication and I felt they understood my individual situation as a customer.

The job was completed as expected. The price was reasonable. I'm sure we will use their services again.

We called Ohio Exteriors around 2 PM on a Friday to report that we had a water leak in our kitchen which we suspected was caused by a ice jam in the gutter. The receptionist said that she would try to get a repair man to our house and would call us back as soon as she could confirm that a repairman was available. She called back within a few minutes and said that someone would be there within 90 minutes. Derek arrived, within 60 minutes, we showed him the problem and he quickly got to work trying to stop the leak. He temporarily took the gutter down so that ice jamming would not continue. He also found a place in the roof where water could also be seeping inside. He caulked that spot as a quick fix. When the temperature gets up to 50 degrees we will have a heat tape installed in the gutter to prevent future ice jams and will also have a more thorough inspection of the roof done when the snow is off it. We were very pleased with the responsiveness, professionalism and knowledge of Derek and the company. We highly recommend them based upon our experience.

This was not actual maintenance - they just got on the roof and then tried to sell me a new roof. Total waste of money.

We had some damage done from winds and they came over and made it look brand new. It was awesome. They did a great job. I was referred to Bill Thompson a long time ago. I have his cellphone number and that always proved to be most helpful. He does a great job. I’m waiting for him to get back to me on the estimate. When you trust somebody, then you just go by their knowledge of the job. I feel really at ease and I feel like I could trust Bill. I haven’t had any issues since the service. I would recommend him because he’s knowledgeable, honest, and he got the job done. I am planning to use him again, I just have to see if I can afford him on the four seasons room. They do a bunch of stuff like windows and room additions.

Siding on whole house and upgrade to stone in the front.

I was very happy the service. I never met with them, my wife did. They inspected everything and gave a quote for the job. Everything was very nice and easy to do business with. They did not pressure for unnecessary services.

It was hard to get in contact with the provider and schedule the appointment. However, once the servicemen were out they were professional and provided great service.

James is awesome. He arrived on time, and was very friendly and professional. He identified a hole in the siding next to the J-channel in the section of roof over the gas fireplace. Since there were no other discernible reasons for water to leak in, he simply filled in the hole with clear caulk. He charged nothing for the service, even though he certainly could have, for making the service call. He never once tried to "sell" me on work to the home that I didn't need. I highly recommend Ohio Exteriors, and if I ever have another issue with our home's roofing/siding/etc., Ohio Exteriors will be the first people I call.

Despite their busy schedule, Ohio Exteriors ended up being able to fit me in well in advance of the original appointment, for which I am grateful. Fortunately, the section of siding being worked on did not rip or tear when carefully being removed and we were able to reuse it. Different sized pieces of wood had rotted (or partially rotted) underneath the siding and were replaced with treated wood, along with house wrap. The area of the bulge was fixed and fascia was installed near the gutter. The worker paid close attention to detail and the job was done with excellence.

it went excellent, all involved in the process were kind, caring and professional. craftsmanship was exceptional, they came out and repaired in a timely manner and the repairs are excellent.

Overall, very good experience. Those that performed the work did an excellent job The siding and the soffit look great. There were a few times i had to call back or ask for confirmation when they said they would call or email me, but I am chalking that up to being a busy season for them. Everyone who did the work was great though and they were very professional and kept me informed of what they were doing and how it was going. Would call them again for future work

I paid over $100 and received no service.

An awesome company to work with, from the first contact to the final walk-through after the job was complete. Everyone I worked with was professional and knowledgeable, including the office contacts, the sales representative, the installers and the owner, who came and did the final walk-through with us. The work was completed on time and on budget. We obtained multiple quotes before deciding to go with Ohio Exteriors. Bill, our sales rep, was very thorough with his explanation of what they would do, why they would do it and how it would be done. Our main issue with this company is their apparent lack of qualified personnel and their poor communication. We called to schedule the job and spoke with Chris. Chris explained that they only have one very qualified person (the guy who did the estimate and whom we met) but he's booked for months in advance. Their No. 2 guy was sick and they had no idea when he'd be well. Their No. 3 guy they don't trust to work on his own. So, after waiting a week we get a call back from Chris on a Friday (11/1) letting us know that No. 2 would be out at our house around noon on Saturday to do the work. He also oddly said in his message "if you want to call it off just give me a call back." We waited at the house from 12-1; nobody came. We called the cell phone for No. 2 guy that Chris had provided and learned that No. 2 had never been scheduled to work at our house. No. 2 guy appologized for the mix-up and said he'd be over to our house on Monday. Monday came and went, no No. 2 guy. Today, 11/5, still nobody showed up. I called up Chris to cancel the job. His response was to tell us again how understaffed and overbooked they were. I would have appreciated them just telling me they couldn't take the job. After canceling the job I hopped back on Angie's list and spoke with some other contractors. I learned that the work recomended by Ohio Exterriors may have been largly unncessary -- it may be a flashing issue that can be fixed for about $100, not the over $500 in work Ohio Exteriors recomended in removing a bunch of singles and opening up the wall. Lots of good comments here on Angie's List. I'm only one negative one but I'm one that won't be calling them again.

Please with the quality of the work. No problems with the siding being blown off as it had been prior to them doing their work.

Every thing went very well. James provided personal service starting with the estimate until the end of the work . He, his staff ,and work crew were all very professional and through. Once the work began it was finished on schedule and the house looks great.

It turned out okay. The price was worthwhile but the service was fundamentally it. It was relatively unnecessary for a majority of homeowners. They came out in a very timely manner. They’re very professional and they went through the whole house to find some hot and cold slots. They made some suggestions. It was overall a good service but it was something I personally didn’t need to purchase. They have state-of-the-art equipment and they know exactly what they’re doing. They did not upsell or upcharge me. They should have a disclaimer in their ad that any houses built post-1995 are going to meet all of the requirements for insulation and that service probably isn't necessary for houses less than 25 years old.

They were professional and seemed to be very fair. Bill even said that he thought the Big Deal may not have been well-worded. He was very nice.

James diagnosed the problem with my leaking roof as a torn weather boot on a vent pipe, and as rain was expected that evening, had one of his team stop by on his way home from another job to do the repair. The bad weather boot was replaced and a similar boot on another nearby pipe was re-sealed just in case. The work was done quickly and properly, and the leak is gone. I couldn't have asked for more!!

Due to a misunderstanding of what the cost would be for the 6" of additional whole house insulation, we elected to postpone the work to a later date. Representative offered to refund the $99.00 because of the misunderstanding, but we decided to just apply the money to the future work.
