Description of Work: I called them for service on my washing machine. They suggested on the phone that I unplug it and plug it back in to see if that would fix the problem by resetting the computer. It worked! And didn't cost me anything. I have used Aero in the past to fix appliances and always found them to be reliable, professional, effective, and reasonably priced. But I was truly impressed this time that they solved my problem without charging me anything. J

Description of Work: We contacted Aero Appliance after having not getting return calls from another repair person. They were prompt and came out. The tech (wish I could remember his name) was very professional. He explained exactly what he was doing and why he was doing it. Unfortunately, the cost just for the parts were not worth repairing a 14 y/o washer. They were kind enough to not charge us for the service because of issues with another company. I would definitely use Aero again.

Description of Work: My oven door would not lock so I could use the self-cleaning mode. Also, the button on my microwave oven was broken & needed replaced. The service call was $50.00. He checked the oven door & advised me that the seal was old & stiff & the door just needed to be firmly closed before moving the 'lock' latch. The microwave button would need to be replaced, but he'd have to order it, then return to install it. He said the part might not match the door(could be ANY color), the part would cost $24., labor $45., + service call of another $50....a total of $120!!! |I did not think he should have gotten another service call fee, so I think these potential charges were much too high! So we did NOT have him order the part. We ended up ordering the part ourselves through Sears, who assured us we'd get a white button, & it cost us $30(& it was white!). So I think Aero was gouging us on the button replacement. But I greatly appreciate the repairman's guidance on the locking oven door latch....even though it cost $50. for that advice.

Description of Work: Valve failure in water line connected to ice maker. Water from the line leaked into basement for at least 24 hours before I discovered the problem.The only way to stop the water was to turn off water to whole house. I called three other companies before I could find one to come out and help me in a reasonable time limit. I called Aero at 10:00 P.M.on a Friday night, they arrived at 7:30 A.M.Saturday morning. The |gentleman that came was all business,no small talk. Dressed and acted very professional. Listened to what I said about the problem, clearly explained what he thought was wrong in terms I understand. Replaced the line and was finished within 1 hour. Cleaned up after himself.He did a great job and would use this company again.

Description of Work: He came out to look at our washing machine. He was here about 30 minutes & diagnosed our problem. Did not try to sell us anything or get more business for himself. Basically said the needed repairs would be very expensive & not worth it. Recommended that we get a new washer which is what we have done.

Description of Work: Jim came to diagnose my dishwasher the same day I called. He is professional, knowledgeable and skilled with the appliance. I'll certainly call him again if I have any additional appliance issues.

Description of Work: We came back from out of the country to find that our microwave did not work. Rather than pitch it and just buy a new one, decided to see if it could be fixed. Looked up repair companies here, saw the high ratings that Aero had and called them. After I agreed to pay their initial service call fee ($49.99), they agreed to come out that afternoon (last Thursday). Within an hour, the technician had diagnosed the problem and knew how to fix it. He had to order the part. Offered to make us the first appointment of the day on Saturday. Showed up exactly when he said he would, and in an hour was done. He then recommended ways to avoid having to make the same repair in the future. And threw in retaping the front cover that bordered the on switch. Here is a situation where paying a significant fee for the initial service call, which might seem a bit much, seems to ensures the high quality of the work. They know that you are serious in calling and hiring them. In turn, they are serious and efficient in performing the work. Highest marks.

Description of Work: I noticed my refrigerator was not cold late Friday afternoon. I called Aero at 8:30 Saturday morning. They were there within the hour. No extra weekend fee as they are open on Saturday. A part (computer board) needed to be ordered. Jim did a "patch" fix so the refrigerator was useable. Jim said he would order the part that day. Monday Jim called that he had the part and would be right out. He was there within a half hour. Jim offered many friendly reminders to help extend the life of the refrigerator. He was clean, polite and knowledgable.

Description of Work: Serviceman came out and diagnosed the problem as probably a computer issue in my KitchenAid built in oven (approx. 16 years old) A new computer board was ordered and installed and the oven seems to be working well. The part came in promptly and it was installed one day after it was received by the company.

Description of Work: My dishwasher was making a grinding sound. The Aero man diagnosed the problem (needed a new motor and pump) and discussed alternatives - fixing vs buying a new one. I made the decision to get it fixed since it is a good model and would have had to spend much more to buy a similar replacement. Both his initial visit to diagnose the problem and subsequent visit to install the new motor were handled professionally and competently. I now have my quiet dishwasher back.

Description of Work: The checked the whole refrigerator and cleaned under the coils and behind the fridge, and the door was not sealing 100%.

Description of Work: The technician quickly diagnosed a stuck switch, unstuck the switch, and explained the problem and solution. He also explained that if the problem recurred within the next ten days, the service would replace the part without charging an additional trip charge.

Description of Work: Refrigerator was not cooling properly. He repaired the refrigerator, and came back when it stopped working again. On the second visit, he only charged for the part that failed.

Description of Work: The problem was a washing machine leaking water the tub. Accessed the machine determined the problem.
