Matt Baron's Maid Service always sends the same workers and they are excellent. I truly appreciate that because they know my house and also I trust them with my keys and anything like financial information or jewelry lying around. They've been working for me for over ten years and have never broken anything, nor has anything come up missing. (Matt does know a retired museum restoration expert who will repair any valuable items that get broken, which is a service I have never even heard of before. I don't know who pays for the repair, but at least it's there. In the past, I've had maids from other companies who broke something and hid it by throwing it away.)
Also, they do things the way I want them done. I have a lot of antiques, and they treat everything with great care. If I want a little extra task, such as laundry folded, they are happy to do that at no extra cost. My basement is very messy, but if I ask, they will clean down there and not charge extra.
The other thing, is they don't move things around so I can't find them when they leave. This is another issue I've had with past workers. These ladies are both smart and conscientious.
"You were charged $85.05 per service NOT $185.00 as shown in your review. Most of the time the same two cleaners would clean your home every other Monday. When we are very busy, I send three cleaners. We cleaned your home from March, 2014 thru July, 2015 - ABOUT 35 SERVICES. "The best worker," so you say, tried to take my customers to start her own business. Several of my customers called and told me she was passing out her business cards while still cleaning at their houses for me. We do background checks on all people before they are hired. Bev was cleaning the bathroom when your wife walked by and noticed she had the bathroom cabinet door opened. Bev was cleaning off fingerprints, etc., and opened the door to clean the edges. Bev is very thorough. There were toiletry items in the cabinet, which is usual for a bathroom cabinet. We haven't been to your home since July, 2015, and your review date is Oct.10, 2015 - ABOUT 2 1/2 MONTHS LATER. After reading your review, I wonder why you tolerated this for 17 months - ABOUT 35 SERVICES? During the 17 months, your wife would periodically give the ladies tips or gift cards especially around the holidays. I have Bureau of Workers Compensation insurance, which is required by the State of Ohio. This is different from contractor's insurance, which just about anyone can get. BWC protects the home owner from any liability incurred if my cleaner has an accident in their home. I pay a large premium every six months to the BWC and receive a certificate showing coverage date."
"After further review we are taking your comment with the consideration and fact that you were present and instructing the cleaning crew during the service. In addition, Matt offered to come over to inspect the house cleaning and the toilet, for we do not use any products that would stain or take a finish off, but you declined. Most services would not have been this conscientious. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and expectations. Deborah Baron / Advertising Representative"
This is the 2nd time I have had Matt Baron's maid service clean a home to get it ready to be on the market for sale.
Nice job and appreciate their work ethic...
