Pet Companions

She is fantastic. She does not come out on a regular basis, the price can be anywhere from $150 to $300. It depends on how long she may need to pet sit.

When our former pet sitter retired we met with Melinda in June 2011. Since then we have had her pet sit for us 3 times. Our cats and our house are in good shape when we get home. When we got home from our last trip, we were surprised that a large, bulky 95 pound freight item was delivered a month earlier than expected, and somehow Melinda had managed to get it into the house. She leaves a written overall summary of how things went and anything that needs our attention.

We have complete confidence in Melinda to take good care of our cats and our home while we are away. We appreciate that she responds to email within a day. We will to continue using Melinda's services and have recommended her to friends.,

I contacted Melinda by email and she called me back soon after. She sent me an email with the agreement and fee a week later. Since we have used her before, she already has our information and knows the details of the house. We let her know we have 2 new kittens and she was happy to take the job. She emailed me while we were gone to let me know how it was going and what the cats and kittens were up to - I really appreciate this. Everything was in good order when we returned. We are very confident using her services.

Melinda took our job on very short notice from our previous sitter who had to stop working due to family illness. We felt comfortable with her right away and she was able to take our information from our previous sitter and met with us to fill in any blanks and get to know our home and pets. She offered to come at a time of day we preferred. We called her while on vacation to check on things since there wasn't good cell phone access to reach us, and got a report on the cats and the house. When we returned, the cats were doing great and everything was clean. She took daily notes which she left us so we knew what was happening. She even came twice on one of the days to play and comfort the cats because heavy storms in the area might have frightened them. We were quite pleased with the whole process.
