Ken's Parkhill Roofing came out spot on time for an estimate. Did a great job explaining to me what they would do. They dropped off larger shingle samples so I had a better idea of color choices and kept in touch with me throughout it all. There was about a 2 week delay in getting the roof done but that was due to the hurricane that blew through and it was not time sensitive on my end. (as long as it could get done before the snow came) They crew showed up on time, tarped off my entire house and cleaned everything up perfectly when they were done. Very impressed with the comapny and their employees. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Great company, great people.

At the time, this work had to be approved by the county, and Ken’s was a company that they recommended. It was a good experience overall! They did exactly what they said they would do and I’ve had no problems.

They were excellent. They did a very good job. Their service was excellent. They came out and ripped the roof off and put the new roof in just one day. I don’t think they were the cheapest, but I guess you get what you pay for. They did a great job, and I don’t mind paying for it. What they did is supposed to last for 25 years and if I stay in this house, I will definitely use them again. They would be the people I would call for any roofing problems.

They are nice people, and the roof is working ok. They came and put the roof on, and it is fine, it doesn't leak or anything. They did come out when I told them that I didn't like the way it looked. They explained why it had to look that way.

I was satisfied with their service. I had seen their work and decided to go with them. I would use them in the future.

He did come and answer all of our questions. It was a big help. He was professional and promp.

I hated waiting for the work to be done but was ecstatic when the owner waived any charge. I am actually looking forward to the first snows of winter (first only . . . I can do without six months of the stuff!).

Arrived as scheduled. Provided complete estimate. However, we ended up using a different company. although I would have had no concerns about hiring Parkhill Roofing.

I called and called and called these people. I waited for 3 weeks and got no response (even after calling 1 time per week). They kept saying that I was next. I finally spoke to the owner, and he said he would come out a few days later and then he sent his nephew who called his uncle non-stop asking him questions. RAIN is their biggest excuse. They are either millionaires (with more work than they can handle), lazy, or just have plain old bad customer service. I would not suggest them at all. I wish I could, they were recommended to me by someone I trust.

I had an excellent experience working with them. They did a good job at a reasonable price. I know that if there are any problems that it will be taken care of.

When I decided to replace the roof on my house I called Ken's Parkhill Roofing because of a roofing project they had completed for me a few years previously. I called and arranged for someone to come out and run an estimate. The estimate was completed within a few days. I called and discussed the itemized estimate. Once I accepted the estimate I explained that there would be certain days on which they could not work on my house. That was not a problem and within a few days the project was scheduled. The crew arrived exactly on time, worked non-stop with the exception of a lunch break, and completed the roof on a single day.

I had a severe leak from what I believed to be the skylight. I left a message around 4:30 AM. I was very pleased when I got a callback around 8:30 AM. I was told some one would definitely come over that day and they would call first. Noone called, noone came. The next day I called them about 1:00 PM. Pete said he wasn't making excuses but the weather was a problem and they were busy. Those are excuses. A simple phone call on their part would have made all the difference. When I told Pete they should take my name off the list he thanked me for having the curtesy to call. I find that ironic, since that was what they should have done, even to say they couldn't come at all, were running late, etc. I told him I only wished they'd had the curtesy of calling me. This is totally unexceptable. I gave them a D in responsiveness only because I got a prompt callback. But it should be an F. Another company had a tarp put up and estimates for various solutions the same day Parkhill said they were coming out. Horrible customer service.

They returned to add new matching roofing to an additional 600 square foot master suite addition this last year and tied the new roof in beautifully. Then they came back again when we added yet more square footage for a bay window area and again when it was time to punch through the roof for the sanitary vent. Each time they told us when they would arrive and they were absolutely punctual. The roofing looks terrific and we couldn't have found a better installer for a better price. The crews were quiet, clean, professional and orderly. Their equipment is always spotless and easily recognized (typically red trucks).

They did a great job. They gave me a very good quote. They did the job rather quickly. The finished job looks very good, and they cleaned up when they were done with the job.

The job went fine. Before installing the new shingles they warned me about the potential of them not matching the older shingles, however I could hardly tell the difference.

The quote was prompt, priced well, and we hired them based on reputation and work they have done for family members. I would use them again. Their crew set up shop - tarped off the landscape (a tarp cooked some plants under it from the hot summer sun which needed to be replaced), and cleaned up thoroughly. Parkhill runs a quick, efficient job which is nice. Having a roof removed and replaced quickly is important - with minimal disturbance to our living situation. The job was completed in less than two days with the gutter subcontractor following up within a day or two after the roof installation was completed. My only disappointment with the service is that they did not solve a problem I had regarding the roof/gutter on the garage. My garage gutters were damaged and I asked that they replace the gutter at the time they did the gutters/downspouts on the house. Parkhill did not install the garage roof. After the garage gutter was replaced I had more water falling behind the gutter during heavy rains and during the winter it would ice up between the soffit and gutter. The overhang on the roof was not significant enough to drop water properly into the gutter. I recognized they did not create the problem but wanted a solution. Pete came out to look at it but did not have a solution and could not offer one. They were not able to refer me to anyone that could fix the problem either. Pete was responsive in addressing my request, but ultimately was not effective in offering a solution to my problem. Ultimately I hired another company who did gutter work on a different house for me, and they solved the problem by inserting flashing to direct water into the gutter. This work was completed in spring of 2008. Lesson learned - they are great at doing what they say they do, but are not set up to handle exceptions to their main line of business which appears to be removing and replacing roofs.

The experience went very well. I called on Tuesday and they came to the house the next day. They gave me an estimate and after my approval, replaced the shingles immediately.

This is the second time I have used this company (a father/son business.) The first time was 18 years ago to have the flat portion of my roof replaced, which has performed very well. This job went off without a hitch; workers were courteous and neat, doing a good job at clean up when the job was completed.

WE GOT A QUALITY ROOF GUARANTEED FOR 40 YEARS. I DID HAVE TO WAIT LONGER THAN I EXPECTED FOR WORK TO BEGIN. BUT THEY DID A GREAT JOB.

THIS COMPANY WENT WAY ABOVE THE EXPECTED STANDARD OF SERVICE. THE MEN WERE QUIET AND EFFICIENT, AN INHERENTLY MESSY JOB WAS PERFORMED WITH MINIMAL DISRUPTION AND THE DAILY CLEANUP WAS THOROUGH (2 DAYS). MOREOVER, THEY RE-INSTALLED THE GUTTERS (WHICH I REMOVED) AND THEY CERTAINLY DIDN'T HAVE TO DO SO. THE MEN WERE POLITE, CONSCIENTIOUS, NEAT AND PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD HEARTILY ENDORSE THEIR WORK!

IF EVERY COMPANY THAT YOU DEALT WITH WERE LIKE THIS ONE, BOY WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD THIS WOULD BE! THIS COMPANY IS ON TOP OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY ARE A REALLY TOP NOTCH COMPANY FROM THE WORKERS TO THE SERVICE ORDER PEOPLE. THEY ARE POLITE, PROFESSIONAL, HARDWORKING, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND THEY ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS TO MY COMPLETE SATISFACTION. THE OWNER CAME THREE TIMES TO CHECK ON THE WORK AS IT WAS GOING ON AND HE ALWAYS MADE A POINT TO FIND ME AND CHECK ON MY COMPLETE SATISFACTION. I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS COMPANY AND IM NOT EASY TO PLEASE! THEY ARE WONDERFUL AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! MANY OF MY NEIGHBORS HAVE USED THEM AND HAVE ALSO BEEN VERY PLEASED! I WENT WITH THE FIFTY YEAR SHINGLES AND GOT THE TOP OF THE LINE ROOF, AND I AM A VERY HAPPY CAMPER!

RE-ROOF JOB. OWNER STOPPED BY DURING PROCESS. EXPLAINED PROCESS SINCE IT WAS COMPLICATED AND COSTLY. GAVE A DETAILED WRITTEN ESTIMATE.
