They did a complete tear off and re-roof. It went very well. They were prompt and professional. They cleaned up very well and did a nice job.

I moved into this home in May and of all the projects I've had folks in to assist with this was the easiest! Jason came on time for the estimate. After a quick trip to the roof he assessed the situation and gave me the estimate. Within a week, as promised, he came out and took care of the work. No muss, no fuss, just did what he said he would do.

After first call to Daugherty Construction, I was quickly visited by a sales rep (Jason) who examined the roof and did a good job explaining the situation and appropriate remedy. I decided to hire the company a couple of months later and mailed $750 deposit payment that was required for ordering materials. They honored the original estimate and put me on the work list for as soon as the weather would allow. Work crew of 3 arrived right on time, asked if I had questions and went right to work. Job took about 5 hours, old shingles were torn off, sections of roofing wood replaced, sealant and new shingles applied. They did an excellent job of cleaning up - I could find NO evidence that there was major roof work done on my house earlier that day. Got follow up call from sales rep following day to see if I was satisfied. Invoice for agreed amount arrived in mail a few days later. I was impressed by the good work and customer service from start to finish. I would definitely recommend to others and will absolutely use them for future projects that I might have.

We haven't heard anything from them and it's been a month.

Everything went fine. I will be using them again.

Very professional. Of the four companies I contacted, they were the best about confirming the original appointment, as well as following up to determine if they would get the job. I felt they would have done a good job, and their estimate was a bit lower than the others. It was a a definite toss up between Daugherty and another contractor, and ultimately I opted for the other company.

Installed it all in one day, cleaned up really well. Used high quality materials because we live on the lake, communicated well with us before during &after, price was good. Friendly workers. showed up on time. Also, earlier in the spring, it rained and rain was pouring thru our upstairs bathroom fan vent into the bathroom! We called them and they immediately came over, patched it, and did not charge us. He said we need a new roof. We said OK. He said I can't do it until October. We said fine. He came over in October and did an awesome job as described above.

This company gave us two estimates, one just to fix a leak, the other to replace the whole roof. Hal was a nice guy and very knowledgeable and gave a professional and thorough presentation about roofing and roofing materials. I learned a lot more from him then from anyone else who gave us an estimate, including the roofer we ended up hiring. He was very convincing, but we ended up using a lower cost company. FYI, our next door neighbor used his company and was very pleased.

Mr. Daugherty was late for the appointment. He did eventually call but I had somewhere to be (and had made the appointment early enough to allow for it) and by the time he came and did the estimate (which he did try to do quickly) I was running late. He gave a thorough presentation with supporting literature after going up on the roof to see it and take pictures. Then he did some quick figuring and gave me a total on a fill-in-the-blank contract. He also told me that our work could not be scheduled for several months. His price was in the ballpark of other estimates we received but he wanted to sell us a ridge vent, which other companies told us would not work for our particular roof.

They were very prompt and did the whole job in a day and a half.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. BUT ABOVE ALL, THEY WERE EXTREMELY HONEST.

A LARGE CREW OF WORKERS ARRIVED EXACTLY WHEN PLANNED AND FINISHED THE WHOLE ROOF IN ONE DAY. THE FOREMAN WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE. EVERYTHING WAS CLEANED UP. THE GUTTERS ARRIVED THE NEXT DAY (A DAY OR TWO EARLIER THAN EXPECTED) AND THE WORK WAS COMPLETED IN A FEW HOURS. OVERALL, WE WERE VERY PLEASED.

THEY DO AN EXCELLENT JOB! I HAVE BEEN USING THEM FOR ABOUT 14 YEARS. THEY ARE A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY AND IT MAY TAKE A LITTLE TIME FOR THEM TO GET TO YOU. IT IS WORTH THE WAIT! IF YOU DON'T MIND THE WAIT, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! THEY CLEAN EVERYTHING AND YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW THEY ARE HERE. THEY ARE DEFINITELY A+!

THIS COMPANY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON A TEAR-OFF OF A GARAGE ROOF WHICH HAD BEEN DAMAGED BY HIGH WIND AND WAS LEAKING BADLY. THEY ALSO REPLACED A HOUSE ROOF VENT WHICH WAS OLD AND ABOUT DUE TO FAIL AS WELL AS SEVERAL HOUSE SHINGLES WHICH HAD BEEN DAMAGED BY HIGH WIND. EVEN THOUGH THE ESTIMATOR SAID THAT PEOPLE SOMETIMES THINK HIS COMPANY'S PRICES ARE HIGH, HE GAVE AN ESTIMATE WHICH WAS SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS LOWER THAN A LARGE AND VERY WELL KNOWN COMPETITOR WHICH ESTIMATED THE COST OF A LESSER QUALITY JOB (SIMPLE INSTALLATION OF A NEW LAYER OF SHINGLES). THIS COMPANY ALSO FULLY COMPLIED WITH ALL CITY ORDINANCES RE: REGISTRATION OF THE COMPANY WITH THE CITY AND SECURING BUILDING PERMITS (AN IMPORTANT POINT WITH ME).

THE ORIGINAL ROOF WAS NOT INSTALLED BY DAUGHERTY CONSTRUCTION, BUT THEY HAD DONE WORK FOR ME BEFORE. THEY ARRIVED AND DID A EXCELLENT REPAIR THE MORNING AFTER I CALLED AND I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THE PROMPTNESS AND QUALITY OF THE JOB.

THEY WERE IN AND OUT IN 20 MINUTES. THE CLEANUP AFTER THE WORK WAS VERY GOOD.

CLEANED UP WELL AFTER WORK. COULD HAVE CHOSEN ONE OF THREE OTHER COMPANIES. CHOSE THIS ONE DUE TO THE PRICE.

THIS WAS A REALLY LARGE PROJECT, AND THEY DID A REMARKABLE JOB. THEY WERE EXTREMELY NEAT, THEY EVEN SWEPT THE DRIVEWAY WITH A LARGE MAGNET TO MAKE SURE THAT ALL NAILS WERE ACCOUNTED FOR. THIS IS THE ONLY ROOFER THAT PAID MUCH ATTENTION TO MY JOB. I RECEIVED 2 ESTIMATES AND DAUGHERTYS WAS $6,000 LESS THAN THE OTHER. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE.
