Third Federal Savings & Loan

The loan officer Ms. Heidi Jeffries Matson was very helpful, prompt, and replied to all our e-mail messages. Once the closing was completed our file was transferred to Third Federal closing & processing department. The ratings that I have provided are not for Ms. Heidi Jeffries Matson. THE RATING IS FOR Third Federal Closing & Processing Department. I have copied the following message from Third Federal: "This letter is to make you aware of a situation regarding your loan closing package, first payment letter, and closing proceeds check. Your loan closing package, which contains non-public, sensitive information such as your name, address and account number, was inadvertently mailed to another customer. The recipient contacted Third Federal Savings on Feb. 7, 2014 and returned the package to us immediately." They asked us to monitor our credit even though the mistake was by Third Federal. Completed the on-line customer survey for Third Federal and gave them bad rating. No response from their customer service so far. Third Federal web site doesn't work with IE 11 and Google Chrome. I use our home computer. Called their customer service and they were supposed to call me back. They never called back. I have contacted Ms. Heidi on March 1st to explain the situation about loan closing package. She replied on March 4th. Following is her reply: "I wanted to reach out to you to let you know I did receive your email and that I have advised our Escrow Closing Manager of your situation/concerns. I have requested that they look into this situation and get back to you. Thank you, Heidi" So far there is no reply and am not EXPECTING any action. We have refinanced our mortgage through Union Savings Bank 3 times and they provided excellent customer service. We used Third Federal in 2014 because of their interest rate. Please be aware about the above issues if you are refinancing/applying for mortgage with Third Federal.
