"I advised you on every step to take and also told you to let the property management take care of things after finding the evidence. We caught raccoons and other animals and took care of the target issue. You sad you physically seen them on the roof with your own eyes and wanted to do the trapping now. I heard scratches from the attic early Sunday morning 11/3/2024. I looked up Angi's, which I believed was a trusted website to find providers. Ken Hutt from Wildlife Specialist contacted me Sunday morning and he said he'd come to the house by 11 a.m. When he arrived, he went into the attic and took pictures. He showed me pictures of a nest of a large animal such as a racoon as well as mice nests. He told me if I didn't set traps the animal could fall through the ceiling into the house. He also told me that all the insulation in the attic needed to be removed and replaced. This would total $5,500 but I could have it "covered under my homeowner's policy". This tactic turned out to be a lie. In addition, the photos Ken Hutt had showed me were false. This was discovered when a second exterminator came to my property the next day and showed me much different pictures. I sent an email to Ken Hutt asking him to remove the traps he set for which he had charged me $800 and politely asked him to refund half of my money, i.e., $400. A male came in Ken's truck and retrieved all of Ken's equipment/traps on 11/6 at 11:00 a.m.- which was captured on my ring camera as well as witnessed by my mother from inside the house. After I sent the email and text, this is when the harassment started. Hutt attempted to call me, and I was unable to pick up as I was teaching and left me two harassing voice messages. In addition, Hutt called my mother - she picked up the phone and he proceeded to verbally harass her using vulgar language and threatening statements. It was at this point that I contacted the police and filed a telecommunication harassment claim. The officer instructed me to text Hutt back requesting no more contact with myself or my mother and not enter my property. Hutt responded with another harassing text and email using abuse language. I then filed a second police report. My hope in filing this complaint is to have part of my money refunded. But more importantly to have Wildlife Specialist/aka Ken Hutt removed from Angi's to avoid any future harassment of customers.

They were courteous, kind and I had them help with a wildlife issue this year. Last year, the bugs came back and he came out at no cost and got rid of them a second time. This year he helped me trap and relocate some nuisance animals (a groundhog), and was very easy to work with, communicated well with me and was friendly.

Flawless. Ken was the second estimate I entertained. He responded quickly and made a physical inspection of the roof and attic, sharing pictures. His estimate was honest and very affordable. He trapped and removed five critters and sealed the point of entry afterwards. The culprits were likely squirrels scoping-out a nesting place. Ken was personable, polite, and punctual. He followed up a week later to confirm the job was done and no more attic critter guests. I highly recommend The Wildlife Specialist.

The wildlife specialists will be my go to service for any wildlife issue i have in the future. They was the 3rd company I called, after the 2nd one came out and walked my house for less then 2min before telling me it would be an absurd amount. I was about to tryband handle it my self but quickly discovered i was in over my head so i tried one more company and was lucky enough to come across the wildlife specialist. Kenneth was not only extremely professional, but extremely thorough. He not only walked the yard, pointing out places of interest where they have been eating and digging, but also found an entry point no one else pointed out to me. Kenneth inspected my attic and found a racoon has made him a home in there. Kenneth told he could not only catch the animal but also clean up the mess in my attic the raccon made, and patch up the entry point after he caught the racoon.and the best part is, even with the added on work, Kenneth was still cheaper then the other two companys i tried. I've already shared his info with all my friends and family, and i would strongly recommend The Wildlife Specialist to anyone who needs this type of service.

I had used the service previously to help with a hornet nest in a wall. I was pleased with his work and that is why I contacted The Wildlife Specialist first. Kenneth was very clear about what he could do for me to help with my groundhog problem and what the cost would be. He was on time, polite and kept his schedule checking the traps daily. When he needed to remove animals he was quick to get here and careful when removing them. I wouldn’t hesitate to use the service again.

I had raccoons in the attic of my home which caused 20,000 dollars in damage. I called The Wildlife Specialist and Ken was quick to arrive. He was thorough in inspecting the outside of my home finding problem areas where the raccoons were making their way inside. Ken went into the attic and found the raccoons in areas where I didn't see them. He set traps outside and checked them daily not disturbing neighbors, stray cats, or any other animals. No poisons used and raccoon problem fixed. Ken even made a Saturday, late evening trip to my house. Before calling The Wildlife Specialist, I called the big name pest control companies and they either put me a week out or wouldn't deal with raccoons. I will always call The Wildlife Specialist if I need pest control.

Ken was excellent. He was immediately engaged in resolving the problem. I contacted him with no idea what I was in for. After the first day, he had trapped several of the critters and given an assessment of what to expect next. He stayed on top of everything for the next few days and told me what caused it, what to do to keep it from happening. Highly Recommend!

Ken came to my house in early July after I contacted him about critters in my soffit. I paid him upfront $450 (big mistake) and he did trap some raccoon. He sent out a worker who stated that he was going to seal the opening where the raccoons were coming in and that Ken would be over to look in my attic for any further activity. I never heard from Ken again even after multiple phone calls. I have no photos of the supposed entry area and no receipt of money paid. Totally unprofessional behavior

"You are ridiculous you can physically see the entry point no need for a picture. You went on vacation for two weeks and came back and expected me to drop everything I was doing. You harassed me and called me obsessively. You did not call me calmly and respectfully. We had a Lotta good connections and you also tried to manipulate me by stating you as a foster parent. I was a foster child and he tried to relate. Once you figure that out you tried to get discounts and tried to walk all over me and miss treated me just like foster parents do. Soon as you didn’t get your way you went evil and led people to believe I did not do my job. Yes I did not come out to your place and it was because you left me harassing voicemails after I did such a great job for you. Then you turn around and go on here and lie. I’m never going to send somebody a picture of work I did that they can see clearly is done. Have a great day"

I hired The Wildlife Specialist to get rid of carpenter ants in a porch room and check for mice in the basement. He came out on April 13th, and set mouse traps outside the house and sprayed the outside foundation. He charged me $105.35 for that treatment, then asked, and was given, a check for $344. for the next treatment and follow up. He was scheduled to come back on April 27, but never showed. After I called him several times, he said there was a death in the family, so we rescheduled for May 7th, but he never showed. I texted and never heard back. I feel he overcharged for service that he never performed. He was not reliable.

"The entire exterior of the home was treated on the May 7th. The total for the job was $344 after paying for two separate services. You are on the schedule for the next service June 25th for your quarterly service. The morning of the 7th you said don’t worry about knocking because you’re retired and sleep until 10:00. I got there and serviced the exterior for carpenter ants and refilled the bait stations. I assumed everything was good considering you have not called or texted me since. I definitely under charged you considering other companies charge more. You said I charged you for services I never performed but watched me perform them. I’ll be out on the 25th to collect my equipment and cancel your services. Can’t help you if don’t help yourself, you needed to call if you was seeing activity. You choose the quarterly service witch is at least 90 days out until the next service."

In January Contacted this company to remove a raccoon from my Chimney paid around 450 for removal and capping of chimney. This was supposed to have trapset for7 to ten days caught one raccoon and they were suppose to still setting the traps. I called the owner and said they weren't. He went ballisic, came and got his traps, sais they capped the chimney That was in January fast, forward to March. Raccoon had babies in my chimney We had to wait till the babies were old enough to crawl out a few days ago We smoked them out two adults two Babies chimney was not capped. We caught one raccon The other one came back. I would never call this company again to come and recap the chimney that I Already paid them to cap as the owner was so rude and nasty

"[Member Name Removed], everything went perfectly fine, this is an utter lie and I have great reviews and great customers. I trapped for 18 days for you back in the beginning of December. Caught 3 raccoons and a mama possum. We capped your chimney and gave you a $100 discount because you was so nice. All my caps come with a one year warranty if another animal comes along a tears it off. My warranty is I’ll come and replace it for free and get the animal that did it, no extra cost. This is a crazy allegation and I have proof that you was 100% satisfied. Lying to jeopardize someone’s company is a crime."
