For the second time in a year, M&C lost our grooming appointment.  After waiting a month for the opportunity to see a good groomer, arrived today to have them tell us that someone"Must have canceled the appointment".  
In addition, twice in the past 3 years I have had to take my dog to the vet after grooming at this location (Sawmill) because the groomer shaved my dog too closely in the area of his privates.  Both were reported to Store personnel.

Scheduled grooming 2 weeks out from service date.  Groomer did not show up for service and our appointment was cancelled due to their conflict.  Was told we would be prioritized for a re-scheduled appointment - which was an appointment 2 weeks out - not sure how that is accommodating.  Upon talking with the customer service rep - found out the groomer was at the location on the same day our service was cancelled - again, not sure how we were prioritized or accommodated in any way.  Will not use for service in the future.

I've been coming to Mutts and Co to get my dog (a Pekingese) groomed since I got him. They do a great job there and are very patient with him. The staff mostly know him by name and go out of their way to be nice to him. I feel like he's well-treated there, which means a lot. He always looks and smells good afterwards. They have a retail store that sells food, treats and toys also. All of the food has to pass their standards, so it's pricier stuff but you can be assured it's all good quality and safe for your dog. I don't have to scrutinize labels here like I would at the regular pet store. The store's prices are a little high, but they do have a good loyalty program. They also do a lot of activities to support local rescues.

They are very professional and very clean.

I tried Mutt and Co for the first time based on recommendations from Angie's List. The reviews said they were a bit pricey, but I had paid similar amounts at other places. He was booked for a full spa treatment for a large dog (over 100 lbs). They estimated $91 and actually charged $81, saying he needed less time than expected. The groomer, named Lauren N, talked with me about what kind of cut I wanted before starting, and gave some recommendations. My dog looked great when done. The time estimate was accurate. I liked that they called about 10 minutes before hand to tell us he was done. He was happy, smelled great, and was completely dry in less that 2 hours. I will take him back again in, probably in 3-4 months.

Excellent overall experience...just a bit of sticker shock. We were able to quickly book an appointment for full grooming for our mini goldendoodle. Everyone was very friendly and professional. C looked great when he was done. We had been told they charge doodles by weight (ours is a miniature) and I was quite taken aback by the final bill. That being said, I would likely go back as the whole experience was wonderful. Just ask (more detailed than we did) about pricing up front.

My dogs don't like being groomed. OK, one dog doesn't mind it much, but the other one shakes all the way to the groomer. Mutts and Company has several groomers who have done my dogs. The groomers come out and meet the dog, getting down on their level to get to know them. They chat with the owner in order to understand the services the owner wants. I was reassured that the person who was going to do the work was the person with whom I was talking. I wasn't talking to a and quot;go betweenand quot; who might or might not communicate what I wanted. When the grooming was complete, the dogs were calm. The groomers work by appointments so the dogs don't have to stay a long time; that less stress on my dogs. I'm very happy that I've found a new groomer!

I really liked this place. They have multiple groomers and the dogs are free to roam in each one's area. They set appointments and call you 10-15 min. before your dog is ready, so your dog doesn't have to stay for a long time. They were all very pleasant and the grooming only took 90 minutes. These folks are great! I'd highly recommend them!

First of all, every time I call and Monica answers the phone, she is very professional and does a great job representing Mutts and Co,. The other staff girls at the counter have always been super helpful. Any time we go in to shop or to have Brody groomed now they love him!!
This was the 2nd time Brody went to Mutts and Company to have a grooming service performed. He had his nails trimmed by Tracy the groomer. It was amazing. What used to be a nightmare, is now a 5 minute walk in the park. Brody went in for his nail trim, there was no anxiety, or shrill barking because he was afraid of getting his nails trimmed like there used to be at our old vet which was Cheshire Crossing Animal Hospital. We used to take Brody to our vet and they wouldn't attempt to trim his nails because he'd start a shrill barking and crying like he was being murdered. Any time they got close to trimming his nails, his tongue would turn blue, he'd start hyperventilating and the vet even recommended I have him sedated so that they could trim his nails. I felt like I should try to take him some place different after my vet had me bring Brody in for all kinds of therapy sessions which were bogus!!!!
The first time I took Brody to Mutts and Co. he went in for a full service grooming with Tracy and she did his nails, gave him a bath and a summer time buzz/shave. There was some whining at that point, but Brody got through it. Now he goes in and gets his nails done in 5 minutes with no whining. I'm impressed as this used to put a lot of stress on me to consider having his nails trimmed. I am so grateful for Mutts and Co. and will not be taking Brody any where else to get groomed or for his nails. The place is amazing, and I think that their pricing is reasonable. I guess for some people it depends on how often you want to get your dog groomed. I personally groom my dog at home on a regular basis, but if we are having a family portrait done or to get Brody ready for the summer he goes to Mutts and Co.

Both times I have taken our dog there, they have done a very nice job. I think they are a little on the expensive side (more expensive than the groomer I have taken our dog to for the past three years). However, I think they do a better, more thorough job. She looks great, and the groom seems to last longer, so I think the and quot;extraand quot; amount is worth it. The two groomers at Mutts and Co. who have groomed my dog seemed to know how to cut her fur for her breed, too. She's a Labradoodle and when they groom her, she looks like an adorable teddy bear!

I think they are all really nice people. The one gal there that always trims my dog's nails does a really good job. I've never had any issues.

It went very well. Our dog is part-poodle and his hair is not the easiest to deal with. It has been the best experience and we will return there with him.

I think their overpriced but I did like that you're able to drop the dog off and pick it up and not have to leave it for a day. They were very professional.

This company got (and will most likely get in the future) my business because they do an excellent job with customer service. Unlike several of their competitors, they answer the phone when you call or at the very least call you back in a reasonable amount of time. The staff is very professional and courteous, both on the phone and in person. When I arrived, I was greeted amicably right away and the staff member answered all of my questions (including assuring me that my dog would not be around other dogs) and she asked me if my dog had any allergies or health problems. She gave me a pretty accurate time estimate, and then I received a phone call about 15 minutes before she was ready so that I could head over to pick her up. She looked great and I was very happy with the service.

Punctual appointment and set a good expectation of duration. Very professional.
