It could not have gone better, and this also pertains to the entire Lowe's system. Lowe's has specialized appliance installers who really know their stuff. After choosing the appliance at the store or on the Lowe's website, you just make a toll-free phone call to arrange installation. The Lowe's people ask exactly the right questions to insure a quick and proper installation. The installers are EXTREMELY competent, punctual, and professional installation. From appliance selection through installation, the process could not have been better. Lowe's is so smart to have dedicated, specialized appliance installers, who make replacing an appliance so much easier. From now on, the first place I'll turn to for new appliances is Lowe's. Installation is as important as the appliance you choose. Lowe's has a large selection and you can rely on them for proper and professional installation.

I couldn't be happier. I went to my local Lowe's (Metro Center & 161) near Sawmill Rd on Saturday, March 5th because I knew they offered next day delivery (for in-stock items). Best of all, there was no additional delivery fee! Since I already knew what I wanted, the sales associate merely entered my order upon my arrival to the store. I went to Lowe's after another local company botched delivery of an identical washer-dryer order two weeks in a row! Fortunately, the washer & dryer were on sale that day (they hadn't been two weeks ago) for $648/ea. The washer, dryer, extended warranty, pig-tail, dryer duct, and tax totaled $1,607. Because Lowe's was running a gift-card promotion, I paid for my purchase with a gift card. On April 15th (or the 16th), Lowe's will put $160 back onto the gift-card I used at no additional cost. It's like getting a $160 rebate! Also, the washer is eligible for a $50 energy star rebate with AEP. Once I receive the "rebates", my purchase will total only $1,397! That's about $200 less than I would have paid at the store that couldn't seem to deliver what I had purchased. Thanks Lowe's.
