Kittle's Home Furnishings

Sold us a "bonded" leather sectional that wasnt so bonded after all. We
purchased it for the basement at our old house 5 years ago where it was
rarely used. We moved 2 years ago and decided to use it in our family
room. 1 year after actual use, it started peeling badly. It looks so
terrible I dont think we could give it away. We purchased an extended
warranty with Guardsman that included a care kit we used to maintain the
sofa and warranty. We contacted the warranty company who told us we
were just out of warranty (isnt that always the case?) They told us to
notify Kittles so we did. We have talked to 2 different reps who never
called back. I will use every available site on the net to make
consumers aware of the terrible products they are selling.  

We had a challenging time deciding what we wanted to replace our existing sectional. We looked at several stores, price ranges and styles, before landing on the one from Kittle's. The Sales Associate was friendly, answered all of our questions, offered points to consider and was always accessible when we needed her. She took her time with us! We started out just looking for a sectional and added a matching recliner, because we liked it so well. A couple promotional financing options were available that we took advantage of. The terms of the agreement we selected could have been explained a little more clearly. Furniture was delivered as promised. They scheduled a convenient time for us and were punctual. The delivery guys explained how to connect the pieces and were respectful of the home. When there were questions after the sale, our Sales Associate was again helpful as this was our first leather furniture. Am very pleased with the overall service and the quality of the furniture.

What a great shopping experience! We had previously purchased bedroom furniture here, and went back to order a desk for our now-school age child. They were able to look up our old order and find a matching desk. The sale of 15% off was also nice, and we are very happy with our purchase. Very knowledgeable staff and not pushy whatsoever.

The transaction went well. The sales person was very nice and not overpowering. She gave us space to decide what we wanted and if the piece of furniture would work for us, and answered all of our questions. When the furniture was ready to be picked up they called and we picked it up at our convenience.

We had to special order the two sofas. The table was in stock, but we decided to await delivery until the sofas were to be delivered. A month after ordering, we were called and told that the leather we selected for our sofas was no longer available. We made an alternate selection and about a month later we were called to plan a delivery of our furniture. One of the sofas was damaged so we refused to have it taken off the truck and into our home, and the tabletop was scratched badly so we had to refuse it as well. We eventually did receive the items we ordered, but no offers of compensation were made for the delays we experienced.

Salesperson I had in the mattress dept was very nice & did not do a "hard, high pressured sell", which you see often, particularly in buying a mattress. Was able to narrow down some options given the budget range I had, and even measured the options of the lower boxspring vs. regular compared to the bed frame I had already purchased at Kittles to make sure it would work out well. He was very helpful. Mattress delivery guys were also extremely accommodating, I had requested that some blankets be laid down on top of new, cream colored carpet so it would get too dirty, and they were more than happy to help out.

JEN, OUR SALES REP, SEEMED PRETTY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE FURNITURE, BUT LESS SO ABOUT THE PRICING OPTIONS. NO HARD SELL ON EXTRAS LIKE CARE PRODUCTS, WHICH WAS NICE. DELIVERY WAS PROMISED IN EARLY OCTOBER, AND WE RECEIVED LOVE SEATS THE FIRST WEEK OF THE MONTH. THEY WERE IN GOOD CONDITION, AND EVERYTHING SEEMS FINE SO FAR. VERY COMFY.
