They did a thorough inspection and checked the attic, the roof, and inside some walls. They did leave 2 holes in my drywall which they couldn't repair since they couldn't do drywall repair. They weren't succesful at finding the issue, but it did resolve itself. I was impressed with their thoroughness and with the gentleman that came out. He was respectful, neat,clean and didn't leave any mess behind.

The guys that come out to do the work were great. Showed up on time, did a great job, etc. Because we couldn't get the main water shut off we had to contact the water company and re-schedule them to come back out. So I called the very next day (Tuesday Dec 4 at 12:45). The receptionist I talked to was very short with me, rude and acted like I was wasting her time to try and get them to come back out. Probably was going to have to spend another $500 - $600 with them. After talking to her - I called someone else. Too bad as the service guys were great. I'd give them all A's but the cust service let me with an overall D experience

I needed to remodel a rather dated bathroom for my 83 year old mother with an eye toward making it more handicap friendly. Glen from Amanda Plumbing came to give me an estimate. He understood exactly what needed to be done and made suggestions regarding the type of toilet to install and where to place grab rails. I have used this company in the past for simple repairs and have always been impressed by the professionalism and workmanship of the employees, so I had no problem accepting the bid. Not only was my remodel finished in just a few days, the job was done with minimal disruption to the household. Glen and his helper were courteous and professional start to finish, as was the drywall contractor Glen recommended to complete the drywall repairs. This was the master bath, and I fully anticipated having at least some mess in the bedroom, but there was none. Everything was completely cleaned up and trash hauled away at the end of each day. This is a great company and I have no problem recommending them.

Both times it went well. First time had a leaking stop valve. Called and they were able to get me in fairly quickly. Replaced both valves under kitchen sink for me as the original valves were prone to leak. The repair made things much more organized under the sink. Also I had some other questions unrelated to the repair and the person came out was nice to answer my questions and explain how things worked. The second time I had a outdoor valve that failed and would not turn off. I was able to get a same day appointment, which was nice because I had to shut the water off to the house since the faucet would not turn off.. Actually had the same tech come out for the repair. He had to cut a whole in my drywall ceiling in the basement, but was very considerate and made it as small as possible. I don't remember the cost of this repair. I think is around $100, as they have a set price for this job. Both times I had a $10 off coupon from Angie's List.

Amanda Plumbing was able to provide an accurate quote of $75.00 over the phone before any service was performed. The customer service rep even made sure I printed out a coupon to save $10 on the Angies discount. She provided a four hour window of 12 to 4 for the plumber to show up. She took my cell phone so that the plumber could call before he arrived. Unfortunately, the plumber didn't call until about 4:05 and didn't make it to our house until about 4:30. Other than not being punctual that day, Amanda did a great job. I would certainly use them again in the future.

He came out and took care of everything I needed. Everything went well. He was very professional and prompt. He called before he came and told me he was on his way.

We used Amanda Plumbing before and hired them to do the work. Glen (the serviceman) gave me basic service prices over the phone and then he came out on time the next day. Had a realistic, common sense problem solving approach and found the leak quickly. Solved the problem quickly for a great price. We will use them again.

On 9/1/12 we had Amanda unblock the main drain in our house. The cost was was $283.75. This came with a 30 day garentee. On 9/18/12 they were again called and performed the same function to include inserting a camer. This was an additional ($175.00). As an access point they used a toilet and charged $60.00 to reset the the toilet.

Arrived on time. Job was completed efficiently. Cleanup was well done. I was pleased with the work and will use Amanda Plumbing again.

No complaints, everything went exactly as I had hoped / planned.

It took 2 plumbers 3 days, they did a great job.The only thing I was not crazy about was the shower kit.I was expecting more.I was expecting it to be like new with trim and all.I was told it didn't come with trim.

I called Amanda Plumbing after reading their reivews on Angie's List. I called at about 10:45 am to see when they would be able to come over and unclog our drain. I also asked about getting a new garbage disposal installed because ours needed to be replaced. I spoke with Connie who was extremely friendly and helpful. She said they could come that day between noon and 4 pm or could arrange a time on another day if this was better for us. I told her today would be great. She said they would call befor arriving. She also quoted me a price for the drain clearing and for installation of a garbage disposal. i asked if they had disposals. She said they do carry one on the trucks and explained brand etc. of what was available through them and what the price was for disposal and installation. I asked what the price would be if we already had a disposal and she quoted me a price for this also. Subsequently, I hurried and went out and bought a disposal to see if I could save some money (which I did) using the information Connie had supplied about disposals. Glenn (the fellow who did our work) called around 12:25 pm and said he would be there in about 25-30 minutes. He arrived 20 minutes later! He cleared the drain (clogged with potato peals) and installed the new disposal. He took quite a bit of time talking with me about disposals (do's and don't etc.) and answered all of my questions and then some. He was very friendly, thorough and did an excellent job. I also had a $10 coupon fron Angie's List (every little bit helps). The price I paid was exactly as quoted. We will definitely use Amanda Plumbing for any plumbing needs in the future!! I got more than I expected and couldn't have asked for more. A+++

I bought a house last year that was built around the 1800's and started the process of restoring it. It needed all new plumbing and I found Amanda plumbing on Angie's List and how highly rated they were.I called them and they came out to give me an estimate that same week. They were great!

We had just gotten a major rain storm and two down spout lines in the front of our house were overflowing due to a blockage in the drain pipe to the curb. When the sumppump ran it just pushed the water out of the downspouts and back down the sides of the house. Within no time we were starting to see water come in the basement. We called Amanda around 8PM on Friday and within an hour Rick arrived. By 10 PM the drain was unclogged and the water coming in the basement stopped. Rick checked that the sumppump was working ok as well.

It went well. They said they had someone available in the afternoon, but would call if someone became available earlier. They came out an hour early and called to let me know that they would be early. The plumber seemed very knowledgeable and answered other questions for me that weren't about the specific job.

They did nice work and I considered a fair fee.

Called and scheduled Amanda Plumbing and they came the next day. They are always prompt, professional and reliable. They came in and went straight to work and were done within 2 1/2 hours. Answered and explained all questions asked. Have used Amanda in the past (for installing hot water tank, ventless gas fireplace, replacing stools) and will use them in the future.

The installers name was Rick Moore. He did an outstanding job. He did such a great job, he spent half an hour getting gravel out of my old sumpump before putting in the new sumpump. That is over the top, and that is how it should be done. They are an outstanding company and they have outstanding workers.

I have used them for many years now. The work has alway been excellent and the same held true this time as well. I think they may cost a little more but I do know that I will get an outstanding job done when I call them. New tanks and you cannot tell they have even been here. That is untill you get in the shower and feel hot water.

Process took an hour and half and worker did and excellent job of problem solving and then correcting the problem. Please with result and price.

I have used them probably eight times in the last eleven years for one thing or another. When the house was built nine years ago the people who had done the plumbing had made several mistakes and I had to put up with that. However, I got Amanda Plumbing to fix it.

Called to schedule service and receptionist said that a technician would be there in about two hours and call us with an estimate. The technician called about two hours later describing what he would need to do and the approximate cost. Was fixed properly with the estimated cost. They were able to take a credit card # over the phone and mailed us a receipt. Excellent prompt service.

Your grade just went down. From an A to B. This may sound like a couple minor details; however I think I should let you know. Your installer left all his trash in our trash can. All of the old disposal, and what the new one was packed in. He also trashed the instruction sheet for us to keep and the product registration form I will now mail in. The following was my first report. GREAT!! PROMPT!! We called about 7:30 AM and Rick was here at 10:46 AM the same day!!!! He left at 11:43AM. Replaced a leaking disposal. Very friendly, prompt, and explained what he did. He even had shoe covers on when he was only walking on wood and tile.

I called early in the morning due to a plugged toilet. They were very nice and professional on the phone and came out that afternoon as scheduled. He unplugged 1 toilet and I asked him to look at another one. He took the lid off and immediately said it needed to be replaced and couldn't be fixed because it was a special toilet and older. He did not attempt to fix it. He quoted a cost of $400 for a new one. A friend came over and looked at it and he fixed it in about 2 minutes. The chain that moved the handle had come off. He just put it back on and it works fine. The gentleman who came out was very friendly, helpful and polite, and also helped me light the gas fireplace, but now I wonder if this company was trying to take advantage of me or just make a bigger sale. I felt it was a completely positive experience until the toilet he wanted $400 to replace was fixed in 2 minutes and is fine. Not sure what to think now.
