Reliable Electric

They did a great job.  Very professional and customer service friendly.  They arrived on time and finished at the estimated time.
When the estimator arrived and inspected our electrical service, he noted several things.  He commented that a couple of our 30+ year old circuits were known to have overheating problems and had caused home fires.  He suggested I Google the brand of circuit breaker and investigate the problem.  He also commented that the electrical cable outside the house was worn and moisture was getting into the wires - commented that it wouldn't pass inspection when it came time to sell our house.   He gave me a 3 part estimate - 1 for the patio outlet, a second to replace the electrical cable going from the dp&l line to our circuit breaker box and the third estimate to replace the box and circuit breakers. Total cost was about $2500.
Two electricians showed up on schedule and on time.  There were no surprises.  One of the electricians showed me the electrical wires going into the circuit breakers mentioned above.  The plastic coating on the wires had melted for about 6 inches above the breakers. We were glad the estimator had pointed out the issue.  I was very satisfied with their work.  The only negative comment I heard was from the DP&L inspector who said that the 'header box' outside the house needed to be 6 inches higher so it was above the point where the DP&L wires attached to the house.

I called Reliable Electric to set up an appointment for a free estimate to add electricity to my Greenhouse. Also, the price included a new fan to be added in our bedroom and to replace an outside electric plug outlet.
Ben came out within a short period of time to look at what was needed. Within a few days, I was sent a proposal via E-mail.  
I called and spoke to Ben asking him a few questions. He answered my questions and I was satisfied enough to hire the company.
The date was set for Friday but I received a call (on Tuesday) asking if they could come the next day due to a cancellation. Woody and Jake came out the next day. That morning, I received a call letting me know what time they would be here. They were very nice to work with and they knew what they were doing...their work was excellent! They were prompt and very professional.
Although they did not have a timer or jelly jar to complete the job,  I am still able to work around the "missing" items until someone comes back to complete the job. I was not asked to pay "any" money because the job was not complete. 
I would, without a doubt use the company again.  I hope this helps you in your quest for a reputable company for any of your electrical needs.  

Both Woody and Jake were unfailingly punctual, reliable, professional, clean and courteous.  The work was excellent and their attitude made the experience actually pleasant.  We would be happy to have Reliable do work for us at any time.

Excellent job and fast too!  Came within a hour of same day request was made.  Had to completely.rewire with additional outlets added.  Discusssed procedures as he was doing it so I understood what was being done.  Quick and efficient.  Would certainly use again.

We got blessed with just an outstanding performance and work. He was very friendly, very professional, took time to tell us what was what. He cleaned up all of his work. It was totally worth every minute of it. We don't regret one penny that we've spent because he was so efficient. He knew what he was doing but if had a question for him, he stopped and took his time and answered us and just gave us a very good feeling like he wasn't being detained. We were just very, very happy.

Part of the electricity went off in our house during the recent extreme cold weather. I called another company, McAfee, and they gave us the name of Reliable Electric because McAfee was too booked up to come. When I called and told Reliable that part of our electricity went off, they suggested that I first call DP&L because it sounded like something they could fix and we wouldn't be charged. DP&L came withing two hours and then told us that they would do a temporary fix, but we would have to have someone else do the work, because it was not their responsibility. Reliable Electric came two days later to give an estimate and then scheduled a time to come back to replace the meter. They fixed it and the price was what they said it would be. All the workers, including the office staff were very friendly and professional.

The electricians were very honest, I would have hired them but there est. was higher than the company I hired to do the work. I would call them again for estimates.

On time, skilled electricians.  Brought all the right tools and materials, worked quickly, asked us to confirm exact locations before they cut into walls or ceiling,  tested everything, cleaned everything up before they left.  What else is there to write about?  I guess I could mention they were polite and professionally dressed too (if you care about stuff like that)!
Good value from a professional local company.

We just bought an older house a year ago next month and we had a number of things we had to have done.  We got them all done within the first 5 or 6 months after we moved in.  They came in at a lower bid than the others and they did a fantastic job; cleaning up after themselves and everything.

These guys were great!  From the moment they stepped into my house and put shoe covers on, I knew they were detail oriented and would be super.  I hired them to install 7 lights in my study.  They were very clear from the beginning that I might have to adjust my lighting plan based on what they found in the ceiling.  As they cut holes for the light and started pulling wire, we did have to adjust the plan.  They gave me a couple of choices and explained the pluses and minuses of each.  They installed the lights based on the adjusted plan, and thoroughly cleaned up.  As they left, they told me that they weren't happy with the rings around the can lights.  A few appeared discolored.  They assured me they would be back to install new ones.  Their scheduler called the next day to follow up and new ones were quickly up.  A completely professional job with a great team of knowledgeable electricians.  Got the name from my interior designer - I think she uses them exclusively and I can see why.  Would call them again in a heartbeat.

This was the second job that Reliable Electric did for our home and we were very pleased with their expertise in the field and the work they did.  The price was well within reason, the job well done and everyone in the company was great to work with.

Overall it went well.  He came out and tested the various outlets I was having a problem with.  He determined one of the outlets was faulty.  He thinks it might have been struck by lightning.  He replaced the outlet and my problem was fixed.  I have had a problem since then but have not had a chance to give them a call to have them come back out.

We were building a new home and they were one of the contractors that we utilized to build our home. We spent probably about $7000 for their services. The job turned out very well. We were very pleased with them. They were real professional and helpful. The manner in which the work was done was of very high quality. They made some helpful suggestions. We really liked the two gentlemen who actually did the work. They did a real good job. I would use their services in the future too.

Very responsive, clean uniformed employees. Completed the job ahead of schedule! Cleaned up after themselves and hauled away debris. Reason for 'B' is that some of the installation of ceiling fans were not perfectly clean, some ceiling chipped off, a drill slipped by accident went through one of the walls and the sealing of holes on the exterior from service box relocation were fair and will need rework at some point. All in all, we would use them again, as they were very professional. Price was very competitive.

The serviceman, Brandon, replaced the damaged outlet. The bathroom outlets were working on Thursday morning. I explained that they usually did not work. I had no idea what had occurred that they were now working. He checked the outlets and said that he could not fix what wasn't broken. He gave me the 2 estimates, charged me $80 for the hour of time plus $3 for the receptacle. Problem is over the week-end the outlets stopped working and when I called on Monday, Misty said that if they came back out, I would be charged another $80 for diagnosing the problem. She said maybe Brandon would give me a discount. I did call and talk to him, but he only offered a 10% discount. I balked at that because I think I have already paid the diagnostic fee. I should only now be charged for repairs. He made a smart remark about how "if I find a wire cut in your wall, and it's a $600 repair, do you think I should do that for free too?" I was insulted and ended the conversation. I was not asking for freebies, I was asking for fairness. We have had really good luck with every company that we have used from Angie's List. And some of them have not even known what Angie's List is! I called this company because it had good reviews regarding the quality of the work. My experience has been quite the opposite.

Thoroughly professional. Quite happy-- not sure this is the best price but do not want to complain either.

My call for an estimate yieled one within 24 hours. Service was scheduled within a week. Because of the configuration of the house, the installation was quite difficult (a Time Warner installer had earlier pronounced it "impossible"). Nevertheless, Reliable's technician solved all the problems, including some surprises, produced an installation as unobtrusive as possible, met the completion time I had set, and left the work site perfectly clean.

They came out and worked on it every day. It took a long time and they never stopped till the job was done. The guys were very pleasant and professional. There were a couple snags, which weren't their fault, so they put their thinking caps on and resolved the problem. They did a good job and were very reasonably priced.
