Service went well. Provider was on time and professional. My only complaint and concern is that the gentleman wrote down the number of my garage keypad and when I asked for the paper/number back, he said he threw it in my trash. I was unable to find it in the trash can. I was not comfortable with this process and would have rather put the code in myself.

So far I'm happy and plan to update when the work is complete. 

The price is more expensive than when I had a garage door opener replaced in my last city (which was $295 without a key pad, just the opener and two remote controls), but being in a different state, I've found that contractors generally cost more here.

Very good. They are excellent.

Our garage door was opening only half of the time.  The first time they replaced the cable which was going bad.  They straightened the track and oiled the door.  The garage door work for about three weeks.  Then it started acting up again.  I called them and they came out right away.   The second time - The service man found that when the door was opening and closing one of sensors was not staying stationary in its bracket and one of the wires to the sensor was not good.  He not only replaced the wire but replaced the brackets holding the sensors with stronger brackets.  After that, the garage door worked fine.  They did not charge me another service call charge - I only had to pay for the parts.  I would definitely call them again.

Josh was terrific. He replaced a pair of cables so that we could again open and close our wooden garage door. He tightened hardware so that the horizontal pieces would sag a little less. He explained how we could better care for the garage door for however many more years it lasts. Unlike a competing company, he did not try to suggestive sell a replacement door or a replacement opener with a keypad. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.

Don our salesmen asked us many questions to ensure he put us in the right door and we finally went with the Provia.  I was extremely happy to get this price for the door as I had two other quotes for a Provia door and they were $1000 more...Kettering Overhead Doors have the best prices.  
Don came out a few days later and measured and went through all the steps of installation and finalized all the details.  It took 2 weeks for the door to be ordered/made/delivered.  Once they door was delivered KOD scheduled for the door to be installed 2 days later.  
The installers showed up promptly at 930 at took about 2 1/2 hours to remove the old door and install the new one.  They did a great job and even installed the ODL add on blinds w/o charge.
The price included the door, hardware, casing, aluminum clad exterior trim, and installation. 
I will definitely will be using them to replace my other three entry doors.

The service provider checked the door to determine if anything else was wrong. He then replaced the bracket at the bottom of the garage door that had rusted and broken from the door. Once the bracket was replaced, he reattached the cable and tested that the door was working properly. The work was done thoroughly and the cost was reasonable. The repair enabled me to use my garage door again. I am very satisfied and recommend this company.

Prompt weekday service (save more than half what other's weekend rates are).  Replaced both coil springs at fraction of cost that others quoted for a single spring.

I have used Kettering Overhead Door for years to service my garage door repair issues.  Having to a new residence, I needed a new garage door opener system.  I called to inquire about the different systems and the gentleman explained what was available.  He suggested the unit I purchased as I did not require all the bells and whistles, however, it was an excellent unit and it fit my needs.  The price of this unit was basically the same price as the other companies offered.  Based on the quality service Kettering Overhead Door had provided on other occasions, I purchased the unit from their company.  As always, I was given prompt and reliable service from their professional, yet friendly installers.  I will not hesitate to call them for future service.

Excellent company to do business with. We had three quotes from others, but Kettering Overhead won out. The person doing the estimate was willing to listen to all our questions first rather than telling us what they wanted to do. The installers were very professional and personable. Complete job was done in ~1.5. Hours including tear down of old system and installation of new. We are very happy with our new garage door system and recommend Kettering Overhead Door overwhelmingly.

Service was available the day after I called. Technician arrived within the hours quoted to me. He worked quickly and efficiently. It is obvious he has expertise in this area. The springs (2) were replaced and the chain on the garage door opener was lubricated, all within an hour.

Next day service. Tech was running late and missed appointment window by a few minutes.  Repair was performed quickly, courteously. Pete was ery professional.

I like that we can have one window done at a time without incurring any additional charges. I gave the company a B on price because I think $400 for one window is a little high; however, that seems to be the average cost for a window. So although they weren't lower than the competitors, they also weren't higher. Considering the fact that they had to break the old window with a hammer in order to get it out, I was pleasantly surprised that there was no glass left behind after they cleaned up. I do plan to use them again to replace the rest of my windows unless I find someone cheaper with a comparable window.
