We have used them at our old house and we have used them at this; I think they are the best company in Dayton for overhead doors.  We wouldn’t use them too many times if we didn’t like them.

I contacted Dayton Door Sales on a Sunday, fully expecting to replace the garage door and opener.  Several rollers were pulling away from the door and were falling out of the track.  Because of this, the opener was working harder to raise and close the door, and its performance was becoming more erratic.  Their agent, Sean, came out the following morning, inspected the door, opener, track, etc.  He indicated there were a few issues, but nothing that required a new opener, much less a new door.  It took him about 90 minutes to make all the repairs, at no time trying to up-sell my wife to a new door or opener.  I was ecstatic when I found out we wouldn't be shelling out ~$1500 for a new door and opener, and I really cannot thank Dayton Door Sales enough for their professionalism throughout this entire transaction.

One of the springs on my daughter's garage door (in Vandalia) broke on Saturday, January 15th. She completed the online request for an estimate on Sunday, January 16th, and someone from Dayton Door Sales contacted her first thing Monday morning to schedule the service call.  They had a high volume of service calls that day and couldn't give her a time frame for their arrival, but said a service man would call 30 minutes prior to arrival.  Since my daughter couldn't get away from work, I went to her house to meet the service man. Brian arrived around 2:30; I agreed that both springs should be replaced and he gave me an estimate of $244. He completed the work quickly, and was personable and professional.  I would definitely call them again for any garage door repairs.

I recently had a new garage door installed. Worked just fine for a few days then the garage door became cockeyed and was not able to close the door. I called a couple of garage door places and Dayton Door Sales was able to come out within the hour. They changed a couple of parts and realigned the whole system, adjusted the opener, and added lubricant.  It was oepning and closing better than before. Very satisfied with the work performed.

I called Dayton Door Sales and discribed  my problem.  The gentleman responded it was probably the spring.  He  set up an appointment time and said said he would call 30 minutes before the repairman would arrive.   He called me back in a few minutes and said the repairman would be here in 30 minutes.
THE REPARMAN ARRIVED IN LESS THAN 30 MINUTES AND FIXED THE DOOR WITHIN HALF AN HOUR.  vERY GOOD SERVICE , and very professional.. I have used them in the past and the service is the same no matter who arrives to fix the problem.  I will use them again.

Very pleased with responsiveness. They were able to fit me into schedule quickly since my car was trapped in my garage. Arrived promptly and very professional. Also agreed to look at garage door opener that had not been working. The technician found a loose wire and repaired this as well. The final cost was within estimate; however, they were higher priced than other companies in area. Since they were able to get me on the schedule so quickly, it was worth the additional cost.

No complaints.  From date purchased to date installed was approximately 30 days.  Took 4 hours to remove old door, put up all new hardware and installed door and opener.

The guys were professional from beginning to the end.  Everyone we dealt with was friendly and courteous.  They have a nice show room where you can see samples and mockups of all of the different doors and styles.  The installer was on time and did not leave a mess.  One of the new panels arrived with a dent in it.  They replaced the panel with no hassle.  We would definitely use them again.

Things went great.  The technician knew immediately what had to be done:  cut off old gasket, install new door bottom metal (gasket included), then install new trim over the old stuff.  Went well.  He even recognized two nearly-broken door hinges and replaced them.  Additional cost was not unusual.

To make the long story short, the person who took the bid said that the job would be very hard, and suggested that it might be easier to do it myself. Right. We wrote up a contract on August 11th.  Moving on, he gave me a bid, and took a paint sample, and bid the job at $865.  The sales manager called me 10 days later to tell me that I needed to take a paint sample to Sherwin Williams and find out what the color was.  I did so, and bought a gallon of paint.  A long series of conversations ensued, with the sales manager finally picking up the gallon of paint from my home.  We made an appointment to have the door installed on September 20th.   I canceled a Dental appointment scheduled for the 20th so that I could be at home for the installation - I was desperate, I had been attempting to get a crown replaced for six months, but the dog and the carpet took priority.  The sales manager called on Monday to tell me that they couldn't install the door on Tuesday because it hadn't been painted.  A discussion continued, and eventually he agreed that they would pick the unpainted door up from the painter and install it on Tuesday, and I would paint the door myself.  I needed to have the door in place by the evening of the 23rd, as I would be away from home for long periods on the 23rd, 24th and 25th, and couldn't wait until the following week for the painted door to be installed.   The installer came on the 20th, installed the door properly.  The doggie door isn't as large as I would like, but it will do for now.  I paid the original agreed upon amount, which was $865, but still need to paint the door.  I appreciate that the door was installed before the 23rd, and give Dayton Door Sales a high score for professionalism.   I do feel that the entire experience took far too much of my time, and I'm not sure when I will have the time to paint the door....

They came right out and fixed it.  They probably last came out four years ago in spring.  They were on time and came when they said they were coming.  They went right to work and took care of the business.  They were very polite and they left when they were done.  They took the old stuff away and they were conscientious.  They didn't leave grease marks everywhere when they were putting everything together.  They did a good job.  We had called them when we had the broken spring and it had jacked my car to get it out of the garage.  They came right out the next day and fixed it.  I was very pleased because it took me forever to jack the car out of the garage.  It was a big double door that the spring had broken; I was able to jack the car around because my husband's car wasn't there.  I managed to get it out, it took my half an hour and I've had to do that more than once.  I couldn't physically left the double door garage because it was really heavy and my husband had trouble lifting it another time.   They were pretty right on for price.  We didn't call other people because they had done it before.  Evidently they brought the original installers of the garage doors.  They were very impressive.  They were polite, they came and identified themselves.  Immediately wore the sales shirt so I knew who they were right from the get go.

We had used them before. The guy who came out was friendly. He upgraded the springs to better springs than what we had before because they were breaking frequently. So, I was pleased with that. He was professional and cleaned everything up. There were no problems. I don’t remember exactly how much I paid.

It went very well.  The installation person had 15 years experience.  It took 5 hours to install.  We were very happy.  We were also very happy with the sales person.  We called several times with different questions and he was always available and able to answer our questions.

They were absolutely awesome. They did a great job. The guy that came out to do the estimate knew that it was a kind of an unusual situation and kind of a low clearance and everything that he did was exactly where it needed and it looks great. He was really quiet and very quick. They came out when they said they were going to come out. I don't have a good comparison to make, but I think their price was reasonable. I would definitely use them in the future if needed.

The salesman did a good job in explaining the products that were available. The installer did a good job with every aspect of the installation and cleaned up well when he was done. The garage door has made a big difference!

The springs on our old door broke and snapped the top segment of the door in half. Also, the door opener, while still working, was noisy and did not have the sensor that prevents it closing when someone is under the door. Dayton Door Sales came out the day after we called, their sales person discussed options with us, provided us with an estimate, and scheduled replacement of the door in two days. The work was well done, the door works beautifully, and we were very pleased with the experience.
