The dining room table had to be sent back twice due to defects in the color and the third one is cracked on each end either by the men delivering the item or when shipped. Either way, the owner refused to replace the item for a third time. All but two of the chairs fell apart in the first few months. The spindles that attach between the legs seem to be two small and no matter what I have done, I cant get them to stay put. When delivering the furniture, his workers banged up and scratched my king bed because they were trying to hurry. They also made a hole in my ceiling and broke my mattress by bending it in half. I called the owner immediately and he didnt care. One more thing, one of his workers, tried to set up a date for another younger worker, with my 15 year old daughter. I had found out about this after they left and went to the store to complain about his workers disrespectful behavior and again, he didnt do anything about it. I ended up filing a complaint with the BBB (which you can view my complaint on there as well) and they tried to resolve the issue, even though he is not a member. That didnt work either. So, I took him to small claims court and since I didnt have a lawyer or a clue what to expect, I won my case, but didnt get items fixed or replaced, just a measly 100.00 check from him. This business sells very cheaply made items and does a lot of business with social service agencies in Dayton and makes a ton of money. They now have a second store on N. Main Street in Dayton.
Description of Work: I bought all new furniture for the house we had just purchased; dining room set (8 seat table) and hutch, living room couch and loveseat, matching coffee table and end tables, two 5-drawer dressers (cheapo ones for the kids), two twin size beds with mattresses and box springs and finally a king-size bed suite with mattress and box springs.
