I couldn't get a hold of them, left a message and they never got back to me.

It was a failure
Description of Work: Nothing, as far as I can tell. The elderly female proprietor appeared to be a stranger to all ethics, as well as having no semblance of the truth. I resorted to sincere steps of legal-action, resulting in the eventual release/rescue of my School-house wall clock and my grand-father clock. She has a room full of all types of clocks which were probably abandoned by frustrated customers.

I dropped off my clock in May 2014 and I just got my clock back on January 30, 2016. The clock was not repaired and I was lied to. Every time I went into the shop to check on it they would tell me that the clock was being worked on and they had ordered parts. So every time I went in there they lied about what they weren't doing to my clock. I had to contact a lawyer and the BBB to get it back. Please do not deal with these people. Save your self a ton of time and pain.
Description of Work: Bills clock shop did not do anything. They did not repair my clock even after having it for almost 2 years!!!!

Description of Work: Left clock for service last August. Was told it would be ready in about three weeks. Not done yet. Still told it will be another three weeks. Kicking myself for letting it go on so long.

Jan 2014 I took my Cuckoo clock in for repair. After one year it had not been touched. I requested it be returned but did not receive all the parts. * I dropped off my Grandmother's cuckoo clock January 25, 2014 at Bill's Clock Shop. This clock is very special to me as it was my Grandmother's. I requested an estimate to repair, clean and oil the clock. I spoke with both Sue and her sister at their shop. * Spoke on the telephone with Bill's Clock Shop (Sue's sister) on May 5th 2014 regarding the estimate on my cuckoo clock. She gave me an estimate of $248.00 to repair my clock. I approved the estimated price. She gave me a repair completion date of eight weeks - mid July 2014. * I went to the shop on July 21, 2014. I spoke with Sue who said she is waiting on parts. Estimated completion given was about two weeks. She said she would call when finished. * I went to Bill's Clock Shop on Oct 8, 2014 and spoke with Sue. I was taken to the "cuckoo clock room" and shown a wall full of cuckoo clocks. She pointed to one tagged Alan Cox and said that was mine. She told me parts are on order for mine and this one other, they are near ready to go. She told me next time it will be finished. I ask if she has drilled out the broken antler and she said no. I ask if she replaced the bellows and she said no but she will. Estimated parts will arrive in two weeks. * Feb 4, 2015, I went to the shop and told Sue I want to pick up my clock as it has been over one year since I took it in for repair. She said she understood and even recommended another clock repair shop to get the work done at. I was also informed she was closed for three weeks because of a large water issue in her shop and she is now alone in the shop. She took me to the back room (cuckoo clock room) and I identified my clock. She removed it from the wall and handed it to me. She ask if I could return in a few days to pick up the pendulum, weights and the head piece. She showed me several large storage areas of these items wrapped in tissue with names on them. She wanted time to go through and search for my items. I agreed to return in one week. I have the unrepaired clock back without all the other parts. I did ask if I could go through the stacks searching and she said no, they are fragile. * Feb 12, 2015, I returned and she had no idea who I was and no recollection of our earlier conversation of getting my parts. I was told she would call me in a couple of days when she has found them. Another example of her not telling the truth. * I have not heard anything from her. She does not answer the phone and messages cannot be left. I would be happy at this point to just to have my cuckoo clock parts returned. Parts that are missing, three weights, pendulum and top crown (elk head) UPDATE March 17, 2015 . After filing a Better Business Bureau complaint Bill's Clock Shop returned my clock parts
Description of Work: Bill's Clock Shop did nothing except make excuses. No repairs were made. They do not answer the phone and messages are not accepted. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, I strongly do not recommend.

I took my clock in over a year ago. When I call or email they don't answer. DO NOT take your clock there. They had the nerve to stamp my receipt "Clock Abuser". If you take your clock there, you are going to end up in small claims court. That will be my next step.
Description of Work: I don't have the clock back. I took it in over a year ago. I was quoted $271.

Took my mother in laws clock in to be cleaned and repaired over a year ago. Unable to get anyone to answer the phone and upon stopping by the doors are locked. You cannot leave a voice mail because the voice mailbox is full. After checking with the BBB I found that we are not the only ones having this problem. Finally got everything back without any repairs after having a friend drive by every day checking to see if they were open.
