Called in the repair on 1/15/15, plumber called me a couple of hours later enroute. Arrived, inspected, and cleaned hair from drain in about 15 minutes.

It went very well, they arrived on time. They worked efficiently and quickly. They were very considerate and even crawled under our crawl space to make sure we didn't have any other leaks.

The removal of the broken hose bib and installation of the new one was non-trivial due to location of old faucet. The plumber did a great job in a short amount of time without doing any damage to the inside walls. I am very pleased with the work.

Called main office today (Labor Day). Message on phone gave the owner's (John) cell phone number. Reached John immediately. He had a plumber call me back within 10 minutes. The plumber arrived in 15 minutes. Carl has been with A Atherton for 6 mos, but has been cleaning drains with another company for 20 years. He told me he went with A Atherton because of their reputation. Carl diagnosed the problem (2 toilets and tubs clogged) as the main drain from the house. He found the clean out within a few minutes. He used all 110' of snake, eve though the house drain is not that long. He found the clog and only a few roots. It was worth the holiday premium to recieve such quick and professional service.

Responded within a half an hour on a Saturday! Immediately trouble shot and resolved problem.

I felt they were okay. The hot water heater has been working fine for over a year since I had them installed. They had been recommended to me by the company that takes care of my heating and air conditioning. There was an initial problem right away and I called them the next day and they came right out and took care of it. It's was their fault and they came out and he was very honest and explained to me what happened. I appreciated that they didn't try to make some excuse for what was wrong. On this other plumbing that I may be getting done, I may be calling them to do that too. I thought the price was okay.

They're excellent and I would highly recommend them. They are people friendly and when you call them up they treat you like family.

I used A Atherton Plumbing for many years and for quite a while they were really great. They were one of the few plumbing services that I found that you could make appointments, then they will show up right on time and it was great. They were also willing to do some kind of work in my rental property and they were willing to bill me which was also great. If there was a water leak or replace a water heater or something like that I could call them up when my tenant was there and I could say show up and then would bill me which was that the landlord would pay for it. So from a landlord tenant relationship it was fantastic because they will bill using the 30days term. Then one time it took me longer to pay them and they were willing to work with me and it was great. I had the whole main drain replaced in front of my house. One time they couldn't fix a leak in the kitchen faucet. Then there were some plumbing issues like that and during that time the plumbing in the house had to be replaced as it was in a bad shape. There were always some issues after that even if I went to the office and complained. We used a couple other plumbers since then.

The first service man that came was professional and immediately assessed the problems.He said he would need to order the replacement faucet, suggested the flush mechanism might not be the correct one for the toilet, though he was able to adjust it so that it flushes correctly now and snaked out the bathroom drain. He said the faucet would be in in a couple of days and we set a day and time for the return trip. They arrived on time (different serviceman) and replaced the faucet with no trouble. All in all we were very happy with the outcome.

On Wednesday we called another plumbing company in town,took 4 hrs and two different workers couldn't fix the clog drain.Called A Atherton they said could come on Friday between 1-4.Called at one said 6 minutes away,came in took 15 minutes done. Very professional cleaned up the area out the door..We are most differently using again,anyone looking for quality job this is the company to hire.

They did a great job. We have used them for years and have been pleased each time. They always show up when they say they will and they give a small window of time. We highly recommend them to others.

Would have done job myself except that if the problem was more than a washer it would require a plumber. Hated to pay $95.00 call chrge but had no choice

They came out and in half a day they got the job fixed and did not charge me anything for the project. They never found the leak so they did not have me pay for anything. This is only company I use for my plumbing needs.

The person from Atherton was prompt, professional and took care of both stuck cartridges in less than one hour. I was very please with the work performed.

We had a bad experience with A Atherton Plumbing. He fixed the problem, but in the midst of fixing the project, something else broke. When he went to fix what broke, he said, "It's old anyway. It needs to be replaced anyway." No one told this man to go ahead and replace it, but he did and charged us for everything, even the piece that was broken. There were more problems that occurred with the fix. Instead of saying he would replace it without charging us, since he broke it, he charged it for it. He's done good work for us in the past, though. When my son called the wife of the owner, he explained what happened and she asked him if her employee did do all the work. My son said he did, but it wouldn't have had to be fixed if the worker didn't break the one part. There was just a lot of tension. My son called twice and didn't get it resolved. We won't be using them again.
