Moving is not easy but Move It Now was truly professional. Some of the things I liked: - They arrived on time as promised. - The trucks were clean and well maintained. The crew was clean, courteous and friendly. ? - The crew personally introduced themselves to us and shook our hands. This made us very comfortable with their service. - They were very efficient and courteous during the move process; asking questions when in doubt. - They protected our hardwood floors and doorway. - They were very careful in moving items. There was no visible damage. - Delivery to our new address went very smoothly and was done with great care. - When they finished, they again thanked us for the opportunity to move us and shook our hands. That may seem trivial to many, but it showed these guys commitment to doing a good job the right way. - The moving estimate was right on target to the actual hours the move took. Honestly, I can find nothing that was done wrong or could have been improved. We appreciated the professionalism of the crew. I will definitely recommend Move It Now to anyone looking for a moving company.

I'm very disappointed. They dented and scratched my fridge and my washing machine really bad. Other pieces were knicked up bad. They also scratched the **** out of our brand new wood floor in many places. This was a brand new built house and the floors are all scratched now. Their floor protection they promised was just one floor runner... seriously? We have wood floors in the entire house except bedrooms! They were not careful at all. I feel like the price we paid for them to just move furniture wasn't worth it. Glad I had family move the boxes the day before otherwise we would probably have broken stuff there too. So mad! They were also late. They also dont write in the description that they start chargin you per hour based on when they start driving to your location plus the ride back. Very deceiving. Definitely don't recommend these guys.

Had a team of three guys.  They moved everything out of my house and a storage unit and into my new house.  Took about 7 hours.  The team was professional, friendly, and effective.  They hustled the whole time.  Took good care of my stuff.  This is the second time I've used them, and I'd use them again in the future.

Outstanding Out-of-State Move. It couldn't have gone smoother. Move It Now Akron was able to guarantee both a pick-up-date and a delivery date of the next day to Maryland. This was important so that my mother's belongings could be moved out a few days before the closing. The two movers, Antonio and Tyler, were both polite, patient and hard-working throughout the two days. They even packed up 2 sets of fine china, crystal, and an entire kitchen of cookware, etc. that my mother couldn't leave behind. Nothing at all was damaged, which is amazing considering all of the fragile pieces that were transported. I would highly recommend this company. Note that I received quotes from 3 other moving companies, all of which were larger, cross country movers. Not only were their quotes higher (some substantially higher), but they also couldn't guarantee pick-up dates well in advance because their trucks make multiple pick-ups and deliveries. (I like how Move it Now doesn't combine your move with other moves!) It was also much easier to get all of my many questions answered upfront by Move it Now compared to the other companies.

I called them on short notice and the were able to accommodate my schedule....even when my schedule changed!

Austin and Levi arrived on time, were friendly, professional and great movers!

Both of our guys worked hard the entire day and were professional, courteous and helpful.  They worked hard to finish on time so my nephew could meet his at the house and unload furniture and return to work in the afternoon.

Overall went well. The truck they brought out was too small for the job, so they had to make two trips. Which of course is extra time which means extra money. Fotunately, the move wasn't far!

The movers themselves were good guys that worked hard and fast. Listened well and asked questions to make sure things got placed where I wanted. 

Would have been perfect if they brought the proper size truck (hence the overall B instead of A), which ended up costing me more money than it should have.

This a CLASS Operation. Including the owner, receptionist, scheduler and every mover who actually did the work. All of this was for my 91 years old Mother. She had decided to purge all of the excess from her life which included her cookbook collection of over 14,000 books. She was so happy to find a company who DID NOT discount her for her age and who was patient in working with her and setting everything up. The first two men who arrived worked with with speed and diligence and did the whole job of 220 boxes of books in slightly over an hour. The second pair did their work in an hour which included some big bookcases. In each contact every individual dealt with my mom with true professional courtesy, sensitivity, and kindness. She raves about the experience. Also the movers were so good there was no damage to anything including the walls, floors and doors. I would certainly recommend this company.

The original estimate was 7 hours, but the two gentleman who helped us got it done in 5.5 hours including two complete bedroom sets, living room furniture and exercise equipment.  Devan and Tyler were a great team efficiently moving us out of the old place and into the new.  They constantly kept in communication about how we wanted things or where they should go.  They took less than 25 minutes total in breaks and subtracted that from the total time.  Overall, I would highly recommend Move It Now for any of your moving needs.

The gentleman who did the next storage unit did more of what we wanted. They split the days because they were supposed to do it all on Monday, and something came up and they said they can't do it all on Monday. It was to their convenience. They were on time, and they called ahead. They were very responsive as far as coming and doing everything. My daughter was watching to make sure it was done right, and this one man told her that she should leave and do something else.

The gentleman were very nice and polite. We wanted the furniture moved in first and the boxes in front so that I could access some of the boxes, and I told him what containers and boxes I wanted to have access, but for sure the boxes later and the furniture first. He said they do it all the time and they know how to do it. I continued to say that that box and he said they would see how to do it or we may need another storage unit.  I was standing there and telling him. He said they would get the stuff fixed and then get the stuff I need. I asked why they didn't just leave out the stuff I need and then make that fit or not fit. I am not a professional, they are, and then after all said and done, we had another storage unit a couple of weeks later because it didn't all fit. I asked for the items that I wanted upfront or available since it moved it their way. He said he can't get those, they are buried. He said they were in the middle and they would have to get a lot of stuff out and they would charge me. I told him that I had told them from the get go when they left the apartment that these are the different things I wanted access to. I can't get access to my wardrobe. I can't get my spring shoes, my spring and summer clothes, so it is frustrating. I have a hard time trying to get a pair of shoes that fit, much less trying to go out get a pair and knowing I have what I want already buried and can't get access. I talked to Gary, the head and he was very nice and apologized, and nothing was done, except  the apology. The only thing that they did for it was put my chest and drawer at the very end so I can get to it. I asked where my shoes were and rubber made, and clothes that were brought, and they said they were buried. When I asked how I would get to them, they just shrugged their shoulders. We paid more than the big deal. We had used the big deal, and then she said we shouldn't have used the big deal because of the way it was explained. We asked if it was 2 men for 2 hours or 2 men for 4 hours, so we couldn't use the big deal and we got a refund for it. I asked the one man if he wasn't putting the boxes in the truck a bit too hard, and he said they were packed right. We then told the next guy who came the next day, and they put them gently. They were never rude, but they wouldn't do what we said the first day. They did a great job of packing it, but they weren't concerned about getting the items out. We had reserved another storage unit, and he said no, he said we should cancel it as he can get it all to fit in one but now we can't get to it. They came an hour and half early on the first day and didn't call as they were supposed to. They were a nice group of men, but it was just that particular person who thought he could save us money.  They have the unit so packed, that they have the chairs up to the top of the storage. I would use them again if they would listen to the packing. They knew what they were doing, and they were very polite.

Things happen. I get that. The real issue and the reasons i'm bothering to write about it are the apparent indifference to the problem they created for me and the fact that nobody thought enough about it to offer an explanation and apology. This assumes someone other than John was even aware. If this seems odd to readers given other rave reviews of Move it Now I thought the same thing. However, because there is no reason I would be singled out for this "special" treatment, we might wonder where the other complaints are hidden.
