For the SECOND time in 3 weeks our internet was cut off during the day without notice! How many times do we have to say we work from home!!!!! Your workers came to the back of our house in the alley today and just off our internet without saying anything. My husband was in the middle of an incredibly important meeting. My husband went outside and asked the worker how long it would take and your worker said "I don't care that you from home, I don't have to call ahead, and it will take however long it takes." Your associates are jerks and you need to better with your customer service. You are literally affecting our ability to work and do our jobs. This is ridiculous!

It was good until for the past week and a half. bill is 127.30 and the next bill 134 and was confused that the bills is higher called in the and was informed that if she will opt in for auto pay payment that the bill will be back to 127 and bill keeps on getting higher. And now the bil is now 149 and no notes from the the previous conversation. And charging me 180 cancellation fee. This is the first time that I cancelled a service. It's pandemic and there's no consideration. People are losing job. That is crazy.

absolutely terrible service, problem with the modem they provide has led to 8 phone calls in 1 week. They said the issue was the modem and would send a new one, instead they sent a router and then were unable yo understand the problem and refused repeated requests to speak to a supervisor.

Tech claimed he came to the house. Never did. Called and was told he came and no one was home. Wife and step daughter were home and dogs would have barked if he had knocked on front living room door. Was told they dont have techs that work late. They have poor customer service. If your wow service goes.out at night they wont send a tech out until the following available time.

Initial service was good and complete. However since installation, their internet goes down constantly. I work from home and have to stop what I am doing until it comes back up. Most specifically today (10.23.19), it has gone down at least 6 times since I started working. I would never recommend them for internet. LOUSY

Billing my 86 yrs old mother services she has not contracted for. Inability to recognized the actual contract with my deceased father. Currently they are requesting return of an equipment to undisclosed location or there will be a $900.00 fee. No information was given on how to identify the equipment so the request cannot be fulfilled without more information. Currently they refuse to recognized that I am the family spokesman, as a result they will not communicate with me. Billing continue after my mother had notified down to transfer the phone number to another company and stop the relationship in April. Using delays in service like closing the account and transfer of phone number are being use for billing services not rendered.

I have been without internet service since 10/4. I called in a service call on 10/4 and was told a tecnician would be out in FIVE days - seriously?! The technician was scheduled from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9 since I work full time. I was told they were going to indicate on the order that the technician should not arrrive before 5 p.m. He showed up at 2 p.m. withouth Wow letting me know. Luckily my daughter happened to be home. She called me and I headed home but the technician wouldn't wait until I got there. He had determined that the constructions crew next door had nicked my internet line and, after several discussions with his supervisor, he told me someone would be out between 1-3 days to correct the line problem and rebury the cable and I didn't have to be home for it. This meant that my service should have been back up by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 12. When I got home from work Friday around 5 p.m., I still had no service. So, once again I called Wow. I spoke with a guy named Gary who was very polite but I was on the phone with Gary for over an hour. I was put on hold several times - once time for about 15 minutes - while he checked with HIS supervisor. Gary told me that the technician that came out should not have told me 1-3 days because he had no authority to do so. Gary also told me someone would contact me within 24 hours ( by Saturday, October 13, 6 p.m.) to tell me when my service was going to be re-established. It is now Sunday, October 14 at 1 p.m. and STILL no call from Wow. When I was talking to Gary, I mentioned that I had been paying for internet that I was not receiving and, not only that, I had to shell out an additional $35 for a hotspot boost through Verizon because I had plowed through all the high speed data during the previous 7 days with no internet. I work from home in the evenings on the my computer and needed the hotspot connection. So, Gary was going to credit me for $25 for ten days of no service. I asked about the $35 boost I had to pay for and Gary upped the credit to $35 for the boost - but no credit for the days of no internet service. So, aside from having a $35 credit to reimburse me for the power boost on my mobile hotspot, I'm still in the exact same place I was over a week ago - paying for internet service that I'm not receiving with no idea when someone will be out to fix it. I'm frustrated and angry and very close to cancelling my service. I want Wow to get my service working and I'd like to have a credit issued for the days of no service PLUS the $35 I had to pay for my mobile hotspot boost. Lord knows I pay enough monthly ($70 for internet only + modem rental) for them to take care of this. I really cannot recommend their service department since it seems there's a lot of blaming the other person and no one being able to make any kind of decision without contacting a supervisor. Additionally, they should send technicians out who can solve the problem without having to contact a supervisor or tack on a bunch more days.

Mom mom has dementia , so changing companies would be pretty difficult for her. They charge her $190 per month for basic cable and phone, no internet. When I called, they had the nerve to say this is a fair price. Very unethical.

When we were replacing existing fence, Wow’s cable was damaged. It took them about a week to make the repair. Before the repair, we received a bill from a collection agency. The bill was for $1506.44 to replace 110’ of cable. The tech only had to replace 6’ of cable. When he did the repair, he told me that the cable markings were very confusing which makes it hard to know where to dig. We should not have to pay for 110’ of cable since Wow only replaced 6’. We were also charged for a bucket truck, but the cable is underground. There was a charge for 140’ for temp cable. However, this cable was removed. Two hours of overtime was billed but it only took him 30 minutes to complete the work. Our bill includes items that were never included in the job. When I mentioned this to the construction manager Damon Maddox, he told me that is how they do it. Damon Maddox told me that he would check into it and call me back but never did. I sent several letters to WOW cable with no response.

The channel guide and dvr options are not as streamlined as Spectrum, but I'm getting used to it. Small price to pay for good customer service and a better rate:)

Everything was awful. The next day I had no channels except for the network ones. I was on the phone for over an hour with a person who was unable to fix my problem. It gets worse from there. The next day my cable phone did not work. The technician who was supposed to come today between 4 and 7 pm has not arrived, and it is 7:45. I called WOW where I was on hold to talk to someone for 12 minutes and now have been on hold for over 5 minutes while they are trying to figure out where the technician is. I plan to switch cable providers.

After a comedy of errors regarding what service were supposed to be installed and having the correct equipment, the final product is quite good. I consistently get over 500 Mbps upload and 50-60 download. If the sales office and installation department could get their act gather, they would have a very good product to offer. At this point I am very pleased.

After 6 months, 10+ calls, my cable is still pixelating, pausing, and blacking out. Many service calls incurred service charges, which I then had to call to dispute. Each service person assured me they had located the problem, and one day later the issue returned. I've had enough! Avoid these clowns.

Different. Different always makes for initial problems. Monthly billing was different, in timing and payment procedure. Managed to get stuck with a $10 late fee. I decided to let them auto charge my account. That resolved the problem. Didn't realize that the "cancel anytime", only applied to the first THIRTY DAYS, then the 1 year contract kicked in. BUT . . . I'm paying $70 less a month for essentially the same service, that feels good.

For me , this company has been awesome. I love the price $25.00 for 30 mbps internet. Prior to having WOW! I never had faster than 18 mbps internet. To get this price, you must provide your OWN cable modem and do not buy any add ons such as WOW! Security {One can easily put their own anti virus and firewall on their system} or WOW! Home Networking {Just install a router on your cable modem} . There is some kind of service insurance one must reject also. You want to be sure you know how to tell if internet not working is really a WOW! outage or it is just your modem and/or router because if you don't have that insurance {I forget its name} and you cause them to send a tech to your home, you will pay a truck roll fee. Not applicable if the problem is really WOW!'s fault however. WOW!'s internet is fast, and it is usually reliable. It has been offline about six times during the year and most outages are 2 hours or less. If you don't need a lot of phone contact support and just a great working internet service provider, that does not overcharge you, then this is the ISP to get. Price I listed is my monthly charge, there was no installation or setup charges, you get your initial truck roll to connect the wire to your house. There may be some charges if they have to come indoors and actually hook up your modem. Once I had the line and service, I provided most of my own support. Make sure your cable modem is DOCSYS 3 and on their approved modem list or otherwise compatable if you bring your own.

1 month prior to the WOW tech coming out I had new phone lines run to our home we just purchased in order to have our home number transferred to keep our existing phone number. We then contacted w WOW in order to save money. The tech came out and installed the equipment. The quality of service was very poor (TV signal and quality of cable interface). We decided the savings weren't worth the lower quality so we switched back to AT&T, only to find out that the WOW installer cut the phone lines I had just installed a month earlier so I needed to have the lines reinstalled.
