Description of Work: All they did was called me 2 time to call them to see when they could come out and perform an estimate. I have called them at least 2 times and left voice mail with my address and told them which tree i needed service on. I have not received estimates I want my money back and will got with another provider

Description of Work: Cut back two trees with limbs encroaching on the side and rear of our home. Trimmed branches on a tree in our front yard. This was $200 worth of work for $99 as an Angie's "Big Deal"

Description of Work: After multiple calls to contact this provider, I finally got a call back and a promise to come to my house on July 19. I thought that the service would be provided on that date, but instead, the owner brought his card, a clipboard and took notes on my one lonely tree that needs to be trimmed. I informed him that I had taken off work on that day because I thought the work would be performed. He said that the work would be performed Mon or Tues of the next week. I have received no call back from him to this day. This is after repeated calls from me and my husband.

Description of Work: Owner responded quickly to initial voicemail/inquiry and an appointment was scheduled. Service provider was a no show for scheduled appointment and has not responded to voicemail left ~48 hours ago.

Description of Work: After many missed calls (we played telephone tag for approx. 2 weeks), Mike showed up and we agreed on the work to be done, however, I never heard from him again. I called several times with no response. If Mike did not want to fulfill the contract I had with Angie's List he should have told me.

Description of Work: Several days after my purchase I called and left a message. The call was returned and an appt. was set up for that Saturday afternoon. No one showed. Numerous phone phone calls were made & emails were made on my end, very few were returned. Very frustrated with this entire experience.

Description of Work: THE PROVIDER CAME OUT AND GAVE AN ESTMATE WHICH WAS THE AMOUNT OF THE COUPON. I GAVE A COPY OF THE COUPON COVERING THE SERVICE. HE SAID HE WOULD BE IN TOUCH WITH ME, WITHIN TWO WEEKS. NO RESPONSE, I CALLED HIS NUMBER HE SAID THERE WAS A DEATH IN THE FAMILY AND HE WOULD SET UP NEW DATE. I CALL NUMEROUS TIMES AND GOT NO ANSWER.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for Woodruff Tree Service, a company that I have used before and had been satisfied. After multiple attempts to contact provider, I was able schedule an estimate on 6/1 and no one showed up. I called that day and left a message. I also have called them 2 additional times since this and left messages for them to call me re: an estimate with no one returning my calls. At this point, I will never use them again if this is how they treat return customers.

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal for $99 for $200 of tree service from Woodruff Tree Service on 6 May 2013. I set up an appointment and Mike from Woodruff Tree Service to come out 14 May 2013. I had another estimate from a different company that was $200 less for more trees cut. We have 5 acres and a lot of dead trees, so I called Woodruff Tree Service and set up another appointment for Mike to come back out to give me another estimate on 28 May 2013 at 1 pm. He never showed up and we waited all afternoon. I called and left several voicemails over the next two weeks trying to get him to come back out, but he never returned my calls. I don't want to waste anymore of my time trying to contact this company. Please refund my $99.

Description of Work: Mike @ Woodruff Tree Services were playing phone tag but finally got together and decided they would come out on Wednesday, May 29th. Mike called that day and asked if they could reschedule to Friday. I called him back and said that was fine. The appt was from 1-2pm for an estimate on cutting down some honeysuckle in our backyard. No one showed up. I called Mike that afternoon and left a message stating that no one showed up. I asked him to call me to figure out what we needed to do. He never called back.

Description of Work: Cut down a tree and trimmed off dead limbs and branches of others. Also removed 2 large evergreen bushes in front of the house.

Description of Work: We needed fruit trees and others trimmed plus a tree cut down. We had trouble reaching them from the beginning. When we were finally able to set up an appointment, he never showed up. We called to see if he needed to reschedule, he never got back to us.

Description of Work: Service provider Michael came to this house last fall and gave us an estimate to remove a tree and this was a high amount than we would have to pay for same day/cash tree removal. 10 days ago he said he would be out to remove our stump but never showed and or returned our call to follow-up on fullfilling this prepaid coupon . Please refund my $99 from last oct.'12! Thank you.

Description of Work: After an inspection of the grounds and many other possible areas that needed work, I determined that I would only have a hawthorn tree removed. The salesman then told me it wouldn't be profitable enough to bring out the equipment to do the job. When I responded with " I guess I'll call Angie's List and tell them that" . He said he'd call his boss and get back to me. They agreed to remove the tree and did so in a prompt manner. " Thank you Angie's List!"

Description of Work: Purchased deal Dec.2, 2012. Was able to set up an appointment for an estimate, which was done. The initial problem was that Michael was unresponsive to my phone calls. An appointment was set up for Feb. 22, but he did not specify a time frame. I called back, asking for a time frame. He never returned my call. Then,he called to cancel that appointment, due to freezing rain. I called back to reschedule. Four phone calls, no response from him. The fifth message I left for him was to request a refund. WITHIN THE HOUR he called back. No apology or explanation. He said he could come out today, March 5th, between 10 am and noon, with a 30 minute call ahead to let me know they are enroute. Well, here it is 3:30, and they are still not here. I called him and left a voice mail. No response. Weather is not a factor and has not been all day. It has been totally dry. I think I have given Michael enough opportunities to make things right. To summarize, his lack of responsiveness to my phone calls has been frustrating and a waste of my time. Then, he doesn't show up for the appointment and doesn't bother to call. And now he is wasting my time because I have to complete this form to get a refund! The guy is unprofessional and has no place on Angie's List.

Description of Work: I contacted Woodruff Tree Service to get an estimate for removal of three stumps and two live plants on my property, (small home in a subdivision). I cannot remember with whom I was working with. I had to call two times to request the estimate, which was $200. I asked if I could use the $100 coupon I had and I never got a return call.

Description of Work: I purchased this deal roughly a month ago. In a timely manner, someone from Woodruff contacted me with a suggested date. I wrote back right away, saying that wasn't good for me and giving some alternatives. I have yet to hear back. So we have started on the wrong foot already. I want a tree trimmed and fertilized.

Description of Work: Mike came out to give me an estimate after I had left a voicemail end of October. Very friendly guy when he was out at the house. I signed the paper he gave me saying that I would have Woodruff take care of some branches that were damaging the roof. He said he would call soon after to schedule a date within two weeks to perform the work. After not hearing from him for some time, I got a call early one afternoon saying sorry for not getting back to me sooner, but that they could do the work that day. I said that would be no problem. They never showed up. I tried calling multiple times and left a message - no one ever got back to me. Now that winter is here, I don't know how likely it is they'll be climbing up the trees to do the work. I would've appreciated a call back if they had to cancel, instead of leaving me in the dark.
