They respond to questions. Their service people sometimes differ on maintenance suggestions but they do their best and are reliable.

Met with estimator one day who explained my options in furnaces. Furnace installed a week or 2 later. Installers arrived on time - completed installation in the amount of time they said they would and they cleaned up after themselves. Excellent experience. I have also used them in August when my air conditioner quit working - repair man came within an hour of my call and fixed air conditioner quickly.

A/C unit wasn't blowing. Called Wolfe & Sons at end of day. The next morning they called and set up an appointment for that day or the next. R. Hoffman came out on time for the appointment. Tested and determined everything was receiving power as far as the control board. Needed to order a control board. Came back in two days with a replacement control board which solved the problem. It allowed power to flow through the whole unit without any other problems showing up further down the line. When he finished, he gave me many tips on minor things I could do to improve the efficiency of my unit, such as opening and closing a duct on the HVAC unit in the basement, according to the season. He went outside to check the temp of the air blowing out and noticed the rubber insulating the pipe was old (from 1987) and cracked. He applied an additional layer of hosing around the pipe, directly over the old insulation, to maintain the temperature, improving it's efficiency. I felt he did a very thorough job and went beyond what needed to be done, because he paid attention to the details as if it were his own HVAC system. Thank you!

I've always had a good relationship with them, they do their job as expected. They replaced the filters as needed and everything was fine. I've been using them for 10 years.

Columbia gas "discovered" a leak in my gas connection. They had to shut the furnace off and it could not be restarted without some extensive work. My furnace was 30 years old so I decided to purchase a new high efficiency furnace. Wolfe came in, quoted me a decent price, and had the furnace installed the next day. The workers did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves. Considering that it was the coldest part of winter I did not expect to get such a reasonable price. I was very pleased. I later had some minor problems with the controls turning the furnace on and Wolfe responded immediately and corrected the problem

Our furnace stopped working. We called them because they had installed and serviced the original furnace from 12 years ago. We had always been pleased with their work and price and they again solved our problem. They gave us options from repair to replacement and explained each choice. The technician was very knowledgeable and one of the owners personally helped answer our questions. We always check prices and services in the competition on any item we buy, and Wolfe and Sons was cost effective. Plus we have had a 12 year service history with them and have always been extremely satisfied.

The price seems reasonable, and they?ve been punctual and thorough. They are good and they don?t make a mess. They are accessible so if we need filters or anything we can run over to their place to purchase them.

Though I bought the unit from them, when I called them, they took three weeks to come. It was such a gimmick. It took them three weeks to get back to me. Apart from that, they were professional when I go the unit installed. It was just that I was not happy with the result after I spent so much with them. I purchased Lennox AC and they have their own parts and you can?t use anything else. So I would suggest that people buy a different brand. I got the device installed in October 2008. At that time they were pretty speedy. I got a quote from them first, and the next day they installed the device. After some time the air kept going out periodically. When I called them they could not come as they were busy. I think they were professional though.

Problem: one of three HVAC zones not cooling sufficiently. The first visit was Tom, very pleasant, knowledgeable, responsible, punctual, and professional. Had to return for second diagnostic visit after coil and line had defrosted. At second visit, Tom discovered leak and thoroughly examined the ductwork for any possible problems with low air flow. Third visit, 6 days after first, was Jeff, to install coil and repair ductwork. He was also pleasant, knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. Cost was reasonable, in line with expectations after a call to competitor. Trustworthy and capable provider.

I have actually used this company 3-4 times and, in retrospect, feel very silly that I didn't go to another company sooner. The service people are very friendly, return your calls quickly and tell you "what is wrong" with your system-- but BEWARE-- you will spend money and your AC/Heating (we had them come for both!) still won't work well. You will call them back and then there will be another "problem". I can only say that now, because after dropping $500, they told me my AC was fine. Obviously, it was not since it was HOT in the house (and we have a relatively new house). Anyway, the next day I called "Total Comfort"- they found a problem and FIXED it! I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and Wolfe and sons ended up refunding our money. Save your time and go with another company!

The technicians arrived promptly at the scheduled time, they laid drop cloths to protect the carpeting going down the basement stairs. They removed the old furnace and installed a new furnace, condensing unit, air filter system and piping up the chimney for intake and exhaust. Everything was done quickly and efficiently, they also sprayed out the air conditioning unit outside, reconnected the humidifier unit which had not been connected on the old furnace, tested that this humidifier unit worked correctly, that the heating worked and that the air conditioning worked, They also swept the debris offf the roof of my home and informed me that I might want to have some mortar patched on the chimney as some of it was coming loose. They thoroughly cleaned up all debris in the basement from the installation and made sure that the yard and driveway were also free of any debris. The basement was sparkling clean. Instructed me in replacing the filter in the new system and how to clean the condensing unit when needed. I would recommend them highly!

Excellent experience. When the weather turned, we found out the furnace in the house we just bought was bad. We had two other companies come out in addition to Wolfe & Sons, neither of them provided any follow up or customer service they did. John Jr. came out to our house on his day off later in the day to accomodate our work schedules, instantly identified the problem, gave us a preliminary estimate, went back into the office after leaving our house and called us with follow up information and he quickly set up an appt for Saturday morning. The crew arrived early, worked quickly and efficiently, very personable, and respectful of our property and before we knew it we had heat again. I would highly recommend this company to all our friends.

They come once in the spring for the air conditioning and once in the fall for the heating system. You get other benefits like discounts on all parts and emergency service on priority from them. I would use them again in future.

I had estimates from a number of providers, and their estimate was originally the highest. When they heard about the other estimates, they met them giving me a competitive bid. They scheduled the work, came out, and did it. They had 3 workmen do the job and were finished in less than a day. They laid down papers to ensure that they didn?t get any dirt on the carpets because they had to go through a finished part of the basement to wheel in the furnace and to take out the old one. They cleaned up after themselves. I think the basement probably looked better when they were done than when they started. They were very good in that respect. I got a very nice system. Overall, they did quality work. I have had no problems with the air conditioner or anything. Though I haven?t used the furnace much, I turned it on to test it and had no problems with it. One of the reasons I had called them was because they had installed the previous furnace in my house, which worked for 20 years. They were also rated highly.
