They did a great job! We purchased a Valentine's special to have 2 dogs groomed. Both my pups looked great and they even had cute Valentine's Day bandanas on! Would definitely recommend.

"[Member name removed] Wifi is an awesome little who we found enjoyed playing with Bruno a Golden Doodle that is extremely good with little dogs and modifies his play to accommodate WiFi's small stature. However, we understand your concern. We will be sure that he stays with his size appropriate group upon his next visit. Many of the scheduled events occur in our outdoor play area which currently does not have a WebCam. I have yet to find one durable enough within our price range to accommodate our needs. Our Facebook page however has several photographs and videos of the events that occur outside. and at any time you are welcome to send us a text message and we can face time with you so that you can see your little man in action. I encouraged all of our customers to shop around and look at our competition if you find a better day here that can meet WiFi's needs I will pay for your first daycare. Just bring me the receipt. They're extremely attentive. Much of one on one relationship with the animals. They play with them, they educate them. They work with them. They exercise them. The staff is just beyond pleasant. It's like walking into your next door neighbor's house. They're just wonderful. They're the best in town.

Top Dog daycare provided excellent care for my young adult dog. I chose Top Dog based on other reviews and because I wanted to provide socialization and extra exercise for my young adult dog. All of the people that work at Top Dog are very loving and caring.
At Top Dog they know each dog personally and become well acquainted with each dog's personality, likes and dislikes. There is a special screening process for each dog to make sure they are a good fit for the day care setting. My dog absolutely loved going to Top Dog! She would get very excited when we pulled up to the front door because she could hardly wait to see her friends. It's funny but each dog seemed to have their own special set of friends and enjoyed being around the other dogs too. I loved that whe I picked her up she was happy and tired from all the playtime ;-) I also boarded my dog for several days on different occasions. She always came back to me happy and healthy. My only fear was that she was having such a good time that she didn't want to come home! LOL! We have recently moved out of the area and sorely miss our friends at Top Dog. They treated us like family.

I am always impressed by this provider. Our dog is always excited when we pull up outside, and as soon as I have her collar off, she runs off to play with her and quot;friendsand quot;. I feel great that she likes to go to boarding!
When I picked up our dog the next morning, the owner was there. She is so knowledgable about dogs, I am always impressed by her. She knows my dog's need for training as well as what she likes. I am very happy with this boarding and daycare service!

We have been using Top Dog for our dog's daycare (twice a week) and boarding (only once so far, overnight) needs and have been very happy with their service. The staff are friendly, professional, courteous and helpful. The place is clean and organized and our dog is as happy with it as we are. We feel very comfortable bringing our dog there and feel the price is pretty fair (we buy the 20-day package for $400).

Our dog had been at Top Dog the previous weekend. She seemed SO excited to be coming back. She ran back to the communal room as soon as I had her collar off! She couldn't wait. We had contact with the owner, and two of the staff. We could tell that the owner loves dogs and she is VERY knowledgable about breeds, behavior, dog facts, etc. We were very impressed. We were also impressed by the caring attitude of the staff. We did eventually figure out how to do the web cam (our inexperience) and our dog seemed to be having fun playing with the other dogs. I like this place because our dog is so social. I didn't want her to be stuck in a room or cage by herself for days. And she wasn't. She could interact freely with the other dogs and staff. When we picked her up, she looked happy and tired. And she smelled sweet, having had a bath. I was impressed that the bath was at no cost. We felt totally comfortable with the excellent care she received at Top Dog.

Prior to the boarding, we had to have our vaccinations updated and a fecal test. We had to start on flea and tick medicine and have the paperwork from our vet. We also had to get a behavior test done. That was easy, I just took her for less than a half hour and she loved it. She interacted with other dogs and one of the staff. I was impressed that one or two of the dogs could come behind the counter to interact with staff. After picking our dog up from the kennel on Sunday, although she was glad to see us, we could tell she had had a great time.

My dog has been a loyal, daily Top Dog Daycare dog for over three years. He goes five days a week when I am at work, and I must say that this has been an integral part of his (and our) happiness! Every day he goes he is more than excited and he has completely enjoyed the experience. The Webcam showed this, which is not working now due to technical issues, but I have found the owner, Suzan, to be the most conscientious person regarding his care I have ever met. You can tell she really cares about my dog, and all the dogs for that matter. It is a home away from home, and every day when I pick him up, he is happy to see me and is exhausted from a day of fun, which is everything I would want for him. If you are looking for a place where your dog will be stimulated, have fun, socialize, and be safe, this is the place to go!

Our dog Xander loves it at Top Dog Daycare!
Suzan and the rest of the staff are awesome and everyone obviously loves dogs. The facility isn't huge, but they've configured it wonderfully so that dogs can play together in a safe environment. The online reservation system is super convenient and I also love that they have several web cams so we can check out what Xander is up to throughout the day. He always comes home from his day care adventures absolutely worn out but wearing a huge doggie grin.
They also do basic baths and grooming as requested, which is a great added benefit.

We have always had a great experience at Top Dog. As a Dog Daycare goes, i don't think you can find one as good as Top Dog anywhere else in the city. The other dogs I have seen there are healthy and hardy. Suzan does a temperament test before she will allow a dog to come to the daycare. That way, you as a owner don't have to worry about a misbehaving or aggressive dog injuring your dog.
Take your time with this, compare other doggy daycares and see for yourself. Top Dog is a superior facility with a knowledgeable owner and staff.

Suzann and the Top Dog crew run a great operation. They're incredibly dog-friendly, and do what it takes to keep your dog safe, healthy, and enriched. They have great, honest communication, and are very flexible. They aren't exactly cheap, but that's what comes from doing good work and being in demand.

I have a 5 month black lab puppy with a lot of energy! He goes to Top Dog daycare at least once or twice a week and absolutely loves it! (We can tell since he pulls us to the door every time we go to drop him off!) They have a great online scheduling service that makes signing him up easy and it's clear that the staff there loves dogs and spends time getting know each one of them! They also have a great webcam that allows us to check-in during the day. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area who needs a daycare service for active dogs.

We are glad that there's a set schedule for dog activities (group play, nap time, 1:1 attention with the staff.). The web cameras are also great, letting us see how our dog is getting along with all the other dogs. Staff know and treat each dog like they're part of their family. They even work on behavioral issues if requested.
Unlike a number of dog daycares, the facility smells clean. Our dog is eager to get inside to play with the staff and her doggie friends, and she's always well rested when we go to get her. We will continue to use Top Dog. It's much better than all the others we've tried.

They were very nice. They allowed me to call in and check on my dog. The reason I picked this place was becuase it was a doggie day care in the day time and a boarding place at night. He was able to play with other dogs during the day. They even gave him a bath. They took great care and spent time with him during the day.

I use this daycare and will continue to do so. The hours are flexible. The staff are professional and kind to the dogs. The group of dogs in general seem to be laid back. My dog immediately falls asleep when I pick him up in the evenings. Also, I like that they have a webcam set up so I can watch my dog from work or when out of town,
This is an update to my original report. Today's date is 3/17/12
My dog passed away suddenly in the summber of 2011. I was devastated. Susan and her staff were very kind during this time. Susan asked if she could come with me the day I put my dog down. We were both bawling like mad. A few days later, I received a very nice symptathy card from the entire staff.
The entire staff cares a lot for the dogs and really do get to know each one. I used Susan as a refernce when I applied to a rescue group for my second dog. I also take him to Top Dog Daycare.
I am glad more people have written such great reviews since my original posting in Jan 2011. They really do deseve it

I am a little upset that it has taken me this long to write about Top Dog... My wife and I got our dog Charlie last September. 5 months later, my wife took a job travelling regularly (a little more than we originally anticipated). I also have a job where I travel. This created a challenging situation for Charlie. We recently relocated to the Columbus area, and don't have many friends in the area to help us with dog care. So, we were forced to lean on a kennel for support. From DAY ONE, Susan, Erica, and the whole staff at Top Dog have been FANTASTIC. Not only accomodating to our needs with taking care of Charlie, but also being great animal lovers. We aren't "Straight A's" kind of people if you don't earn it, so to earn a perfect score means a LOT to us! Charlie loves it (he starts wagging his tail every time we pull in the lot -- and comes home exhausted!) and we are treated wonderfully. I cannot give Top Dog a high enough recommendation. If you have a dog and are in the Powell area, you MUST at least try them out. Moderately priced, and certainly just as good if not BETTER than places twice the cost. We will continue to support Top Dog, and are more than happy to pass on some good words in their honor. We can be contacted at any time for positive references for Top Dog.

They are educated in animal behaviors and are extremely knowledgeable about various aspects of raising a puppy and what behaviors are to be expected at various stages of a puppy's life. I take my pet dog there and is plain and convenient. The always have someone with the dogs and they have a camera, so that you can turn it on and see what is going on. I think it is cool because I can see if mhy dog is interacting and everything is under control.

I would visit again and recommend this place to friends. It is very clean and does not have any unpleasant odor. The staff is very conscientious and is knowledgeable in animal behavior. We felt that the dogs were well monitored and staff interacted with them. The dogs were not just left to play by themselves. The staff tries to cater to individual animal's needs. They offer a web-cam so we were able to tune-in to see our dog while she was there. They also offer overnight boarding and grooming services.
