I would use this company for a chimney sweep if I had a fireplace.

Left several messages to start the process of setting up a visit to quote for repair at our home in Licking County .  Provider did not call back.  We called again the next day only to find out they would not come to Licking County.  "It's too far," they said,  When we asked why their ad says they service Licking County, they said they didn't know but it was too far.  Wow...do not expect service in Licking County from this provider.

I had a 12-4 arrival time, and he was actually early.  Showed up just a little after 11, and asked if it was ok if he was early...it was great, one less waiting around all day appointment.  He was very efficient and did a good job keeping our house clean.  He inspected both fireplaces and gave me an estimate on some minor repairs needed.  He explained everything to me including how to use the gas starter with our fireplace.  He even left me a pamplet on the types of wood to use, which since I have only had gas fireplaces previously, this was very helpful.

They did a great job. They were clean, reasonably priced, and efficient.

Mike showed up on time and started work right away.  He provided a thorough cleaning and inspection.  Very knowledgeable about fireplaces.  I'd use them again as I trust their work.

They were able to check out my chimney as well as make sure my gas logs were set up. They also did some repairs on top of the chimney. They were able to do the work when I wasn't here which was nice. The chimney is working fine so everything worked out well.

This was a long time ago. They were friendly and nice. I just remember that they gave me a bid of $25,000 to repair masonry all over my house. The quote was much higher than I expected or had heard from others.

The work was fine. The technician showed me what came out of the chimney and cleaned up the fireplace box. They contained all of the mess and cleaned up thoroughly.  Everything was very thorough and professional. He was a little early, but called first to make sure that he could arrive early. They did a good job and I have no complaints at all.

The technician was great and friendly. He called when he was on his way, was friendly, quick and clean. There was no leftover mess at all. He explained the problems we have in our chimney and why it is not sufficient for wood burning at this time. He provided information about a chimney liner - and also the possible difficulties we could encounter because of a small flue. As we also need tuck-pointing and masonry repair of the chimney outside, he provided me with an estimate to do our chimney lining -- and included the chimney repair in the cost of the liner. (we will get another estimate before we decide to go with this company)  Price seemed reasonable for cleaning and inspection.

It took him a little while to get there and do the work but the work was well done.

Everything went fine. I encountered no problems and they came when they said they would. They were professional.

The work turned out well. And the tenant was pleased. They gave some good suggestions for what we can do as well.

I had taken advantage of an Angie's Big Deal and had my chimney cleaned and inspected by D.M. Masonry Retoration, Inc.  I found the company to be courteous and very professional and showed up for the appointment on time.  Once completed, they went over all of the details, explained what they found and recommendations for repair.  I was already made aware that I had some deterioration of the chimeny cap when I bought my house several years ago and that the damper warped and wasn't sealing properly.  There was no attempt to make a "hard sell" or try to frighten me into getting any repairs done.  Unfortunately I was not able to have the repairs done at that time, but will definitely consider them when I am ready.  Overall, a very nice experience.

• Only one week lapsed between my call for an estimate and completion of work.  David inspected the chimney on Monday, June 24; when I accepted the estimate, work was scheduled for that Friday.  Three workers arrived on time, working efficiently and professionally.  Cleanup was thorough both on the roof and in the yard.

They came out with what they said they would be there and their professionalism is fine. Their price is high I thought it was reasonable.

The work went fine. My husband was here when they came, and he didn't have any complaints at all. They were prompt and courteous.

We first hired Mr. Thompson thru an Angie's list promotion and he has since proven to be a golden asset when it comes to our chimney.  We had smoke back up into the family room from our chimney this past December and he took a look at our chimney and determined the problem and the fix in record time.  Very knowledgeable individual.

They came out on time and did some tuckpointing on deteriorated mortar joints as well as applied a  sealant on the crown of the chimney.  They then applied a waterproof sealant on the entire chimney.  In addition, they replaced the flashing around the chimney and tucked it into the existing roof.  They also spray painted the flashing to match the roof with rust resistant paint.
This solved my leakage problem entirely and I've not had a problem since.
