They explained what they do and gave us options of fixed mount or swivel mount TV. We selected flush mounting.

The scheduling was smooth and when they had a cancellation, they called and offered to do my installation earlier. They called about 30 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment, per my request, to let me know they would be arriving at the scheduled time. This allowed me to maximize my time at the office and leave at the last possible moment to get home. The two installers have worked at my home before and were very familiar. It is great to have the same people returning as they already know the house, the layout and where everything is located. I value having the same people return, about two years after my first project with the Theater People. (employee retention means the owners are doing some things right) They evaluated the mount I had purchased and we discussed how I intended to use the television and mutually agreed a different mount was probably needed. They were able to supply exactly what I needed at a very competitive price. They installed the mount, hung the television and hid the wires (a pretty long run - about 20 feet for the coaxial), programmed the television, cleaned up with a shop vac, went over the instructions with me, including how the mount pivots and turns and were finished in less than an hour and 1/2. I will use them again when I need them!

I originally bought a "deal" to hang a TV for $79. I actually wanted more, so I asked them to come out and give me advice first. They were prompt and did a great job getting the estimate to me the same day. I selected the elements of the estimate that I wanted and they scheduled a time for installation. They purchased and mounted a Sonos sound bar in addition to putting in all the necessary equipment and electrical outlets for my installation. This accounts for the pricing. I purchased the bracket for the TV mount, but they supplied an additional bracket and mounted a shelf for components. They hit a few snags, but they stuck with it until the job was done and done correctly. They even checked back later to ensure all was working. They cleaned up after themselves and we prompt and professional! You can't go wrong with this company!

Jeff did a great setting up new flat screen and Blu Ray player. He completed the work in about one hour, and everything worked very well when he was finished. He answered all my questions about the system and offered good suggestions. He left his cell phone number in case I have any additional questions in the future. Jeff was friendly and professional and I highly recommend The Theater People.

I am very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge my technician had. He was patient answering my many questions and did a fantastic job! I couldn't be more pleased. My system looks much better than it did before and the sound is amazing. Would highly recommend!

Like clockwork. A few incremental costs came up (i.e. wiring, and cord covers), but the rep was efficient and consultative with the first installation upstairs, so I asked him to install another TV downstairs. He was flexible, and came back later in the day to complete the additional work.

The price is a little high but you get what you pay for. They are very professional and drywall work was great. The TV looks amazing and the sound bar does a great job

They did an excellent job. They were very competitive. Their quality was excellent. They took great care of the house when they were working around in it. They were very polite. I will tell a friend about them. What stands out most about their work was just how conscientious they were with taking care of the house when they came in and out and showed us how to use the equipment after they got it hooked up. The cost was on a special with theirs.

-The guy (the owner) was great to work with...I give him an A although I wish he would have followed up to check on the service. To his employee's/contractors...I can't be as generous. -The guy that worked on the component integration kept making all kind of excuses, worked slowly, made himself at home on my soft without asking, didn't do 1/2 of what i wanted, didn't check the work to make sure it all came together. He really deserved a D. I'm going to have to have someone else come out to finish the job. -I have to give the guys working on the printer a B-. He did try to figure it out (there was a manual) and he didn't make a lot of excuses. He contacted the company for more information but they were not helpful. He did give me a cable to help with the printing (It should be wireless) but nothing else about the printer is resolved (fax or scan). Again, I'm going to have to have someone else come out to finish the job. I had 2 guys for 1 1/2 hours. Since it took so long to do the 2 things listed above, They 'threw-in' the downstairs hook-up because of all the hassles and delays. When they went to put it together, they said they wouldn't do it because they were afraid to blow the one of the components. I have no idea if this is valid and, again, I'm going to have to ask someone else because I can't say that I really trust the 30 second diagnosis. What I want when I hire a company is experienced, knowledgeable, mature, give-a care folks who don't expect me to answer technical questions.....that's what I hire them for.

The service tech that came out to our place to do the work was very professional. They installed a TV set on a wall in our basement. They even accommodated moving it lower when we were able to get a good feel for how it would look and asked to move it. The work was done very well. We had several items on our list for the time the tech was in the home, but only one was accomplished. Nonetheless, I would not hesitate to recommend this company to a friend or use them again for my own projects.

The installer and installation was great. The only thing I didn't like is they didn't tell me (before hand) that while the TV mount installation was $79 - an electrical outlet would have to be placed directly behind it (since the TV power cord couldn't be run behind the drywall) at and additional $100 cost. Other than not knowing that before hand, they did a great job and I would use them again in the future.

Tech arrived on time, put shoe covers on before coming into the house. Unpacked tv. Discussed the location I wanted the TV to be. Installed mount and tv. Provided a wire cover because a five year old lIves in the house. Set up the TV and showed me how to use remote. Also talked to me about various channels available. Asked if I wanted him to take away the TV packaging.

Initially told assembling wall mount would cost $49. When I told no such clause was mentione din teh deal, they accepted and did it without charge

They did not come out because they said that their services would be more to locate the wires behind the wall. If there was a need to connect electricity in, it would be substantially higher. They said that it would be probably $700. My interaction with them was okay.

I would reccomend this company to anyone. I had a problem with having the work done before the deadline, they were so kind and worked with me on the date. The job went smooth and everything sounded wonderful. When he was done installing he went through all the details with me on how to work everything. This is a great company!

Purchased $79.00, paid more due to electoral outlet behind the TV. Showed up on time, did a great job. I will use again.

Very professional. Checked and doubled checked to make sure everything was working correctly. Very patient explaining how to use our iPad to control the system. Very neat too. Carefully vacuumed and took care of all trash. I would highly recommend them.

Amazing service. Incredibly friendly, despite the fact that I accidentally gave them the wrong address, which meant that I put them off-schedule by 15-to-30 minutes. Went above and beyond in helping me better understand my AV system and its capabilities. I will absolutely use The Theater People again.

Overall it went pretty well. I had called the theater people before i bought the deal online. They were very accommodating considering it was the week of thanksgiving. Originally I was just going to have the flat screen mounted. After they got everything installed I asked if it was possible to add an outlet behind the TV. They couldn't have been more accommodating. They went about cutting through the dry wall, got their own vacuum and cleaned up after themselves. They even mounted my Roku box behind the TV and made sure it was all hooked up and working before they left.

Overall I had a great experience with the theater people. I purchased the Big Deal of 3 hours of work with a consultation. I first scheduled the consultation to discuss the work I wanted done. Jeff came to my home and we discussed options. He had a quote to me by the end of the day, which I accepted. I scheduled the work for a couple of weeks later and Jeff came to my house to complete the work. Jeff was incredibly professional and dedicated staying most of Friday afternoon to complete the work. Everything he did turned out great. If I had to do it again the only think I would change is that I would probably not have hired them to program my remote (and I only did it as there was no additional cost with the Big Deal I purchased). While Jeff did program my TV perfectly, I ended programming all of the other components I needed after he left, which resulted in me needing to reprogram the TV. So Jeff did nothing wrong, it is more that the cost/benefit wasn't there for me if I would have had to pay extra for it.
