Established in 1994 by Clintonville native and Bishop Watterson High School graduate, George B Cleary. Our Team of remodeling professionals strive to connect, collaborate and educate our clients and the community to build relationships that last well beyond the life of your remodeling project. Overall, very pleased with the company There were some lags in the project : estimated project start time started about a month later than originally projected and some lags during construction due to weather and coordinating of contractors used. Of the three estimates I got for the project, theirs was the most expensive, but I felt that they were also the most interested in listening to what I really wanted and were able to offer me a variety of materials/options that I had not considered earlier. I thought that they did a pretty good job of communicating the progress and if I had questions, I could contact them easily via email or phone and get a response fairly quickly. During the final walk-through, the owner, project manager, and main carpenter came to my home and we discussed the few items that needed attention. All items were addressed within a weeks time.

For this recent and quot;repairand quot; we had some issues with the start/finish time, BUT this repair was not their usual job and they were fitting us in between bigger jobs as a service to a former customer. They had originally provided exceptional service with the addition back in 2001. Big jobs, like the addition, are their specialty. They were punctual, courteous, thorough, and became members of the family. When you do a remodel like this, you want someone that you feel comfortable with. The Cleary Company was the right choice! This addition was in 2001, but we have maintained a good working relationship with the Cleary Company ever since! Good honest company and the owner, George Cleary, and his right-hand man, Rob Lindemon, are top-notch! Can't say enough good things about this company.

It took a little longer than planned due to backorder on some of the materials, especially the quartz. However, everyone was really friendly and they kept me informed about what was happening and when it was going to happen.

I recommend the Cleary Company. They aren't the cheapest, but they provide extremely high quality work! Their foreman takes very good care with communication regarding the schedule and things being done in the home! All estimates have been right on, unless I requested additional work done, and they are very upfront with additional charges before any work is completed moving forward. Everything is always up to code! The workers coming into the home were very pleasant to have in the home too!

It has gone well. The house is older so there were some structural issues, but The Cleary Company took care of it with relatively little strain. I found the company to be very responsive and flexible to my needs and expectations.

This is the third job The Cleary Company has done for me, and the work was of the quality I have come to expect from them. There was a bit of delay getting some of the materials (not their fault), and they were very careful not to leave me with a mess. Demo started when they were ready to complete the job. As before, all were professional, pleasant, and careful of my home.

All services were coordinated perfectly. Starting with the designer, Laura, the design, the demolition to the HVAC-Electric-Plumbing went seamlessly. Entire project, including the hic-ups where original construction (1952) needed corrected, went smoothly and start to finish was 8 weeks to the day. All sub contractors were great and I have used them personally several times since then. I recommend them and am having a project started on a master bedroom soon.

He employs eight people. There is a carpenter. There are two designers. They subcontracted out for painters, plumbers, electricians, tile setters, flooring people, drywall people, etc. Everybody they got did a wonderful job. We lived in the house the whole time it was going on. It took over six months to do the work.

This project is still in process, but nearing completion. This is my second experience with The Cleary Company; the fact that I am using them again should indicate my level of satisfaction.
The design phase always involves both the owner and their in-house designer. I find them both very responsive to my thoughts and desires, but also presenting many alternatives, often that I have not even thought of. I am excited by the final design.
This project involved a complete demo of the existing kitchen. They very carefully hung a tent to keep dust down in the rest of the residence, and completed the demo within a day, cleaning up carefully afterwards. I am always impressed by their daily concern for my home. Clean up at the end of each day is careful, and at the end of each week is very thorough. They demand the same standards of their subcontractors.
The custom cabinets arrived last week and were quickly installed. The trimout work done by Cleary's lead carpenter is beautifully done.
At this point we are waiting for the counter-tops to be fabricated and installed, and then finish work by the tiling, electrical and plumbing subs to be completed.
Although the Cleary Company is a bit pricier than many of their competitors, I feel the quality of their work makes it worth it. I will certainly use them again for any future projects.

The room was torn up and useless for over a month, but we had expected that. There were several different crews who came in, they were all proficient and they all seemed to coordinate their tasks well. They did a good job of keeping the dust and dirt contained. The workers were all polite and conscientious. When we had to change plans, it was easy to get ahold of George or the project boss and go over options. They came back after the room was complete to re-route one of the fan's exhaust.

They did a good job. They were great and they were flexible. They came back to take the counter off before we had to have them come install. It was a lot of small nagging things around the house. They were very good about all the houses. I'm going to have them come back to do a part of the porches roding. They have already given me an estimate. We decided to wait for the spring to do it. They are very good at crossing what each piece cost and sort of very flexible, if you say you cannot afford to do this part right now but I want you to do these. They do a really good job at estimating costs and scheduling the work. They came on time and they are reliable. The cleaned up. They are RRP certified so that gave me a measure of comfort too, that they know how to deal with all the houses in lead. They were just really easy to work with and very flexible. The price was not the best, they are not the cheapest. But I also know that when you pay cheap you don't get the kind of work that they exert on the job. They are not the cheapest way to go, but I think they are the best way to go. Anytime I get some more money I would bring them in to do some work, there is always some work to do in the house and it needs tons of work.

George and Laura visited a couple of times on site, and I at their office to finalize the design. Once everything had been ordered and delivered, work began. John, the lead for the project, and Matt were very pleasant and professional. The subs used (plumbing, electrical, painting, and glass shower door) were also careful and professional. Other than the expected dust, they made no mess in the rest of the home. I was called often to verify schedule and to be certain that all was convenient for me. I am very pleased with the results, and will certainly consider Cleary when I need future remodeling.

This went exactly how it was supposed to go and even better. Every time a project is started by this group, you know everything that they know going in. From the idea phase to quote and then project commencement, this groups nails it every step of the way. The workers are guys that I would have in my home anytime, home or away. They are absolute pros and what they do and VERY respectful of our home, kids, dog, etc. while they are working. Each night when I came home from work, you would NEVER know that they were even there because the job site and the rest of the house were spotless. The attention to detail is unlike any I have seen anywhere. Cleary Company made this process so painless that we have used them 3-4 times and have referred them to all those around us. George Cleary is probably the most professional and caring person I have ever met. He is a great communicator, makes great recommendations for your project, and see's it through until it is done to perfection.

Excellent. George met with me to discuss what I wanted to do to the kitchen and had additional ideas that I did not envision. We discussed conceptually a design, then I took a couple of months to pick out the range, sink, tile, counter-tops and cabinets. He referred me to excellent people/businesses. When I was ready, I worked with him to get a final quote - he was patient when the quote came in higher and I reworked some of the plans...we landed on the second quote. Project was done within a week with only the tile back-splash to finish and that was completed the second week. Work was top quality, excellent, clean and efficient. They were so clean even in the demo days!! They were a great group of people to work with and we are very pleased with the results.
