We really had a good experience with this company. We discovered a gas leak when we smelled gas and they were very quick to come out and diagnose the problem, get the part and repair it for us. Service guy name Carlos called when on his way. While there; we had a power outage, Carlos was still able to repair the pipes and fix the issue. Very nice guy. Power back on shortly before he left. Carlos able to get things working again as normal. Would use them again in a heartbeat. Thanks

In response to Temperature Pro response to my review. Your letter addressing our complaint is full of a lot of He said She said hear say that you obviously wrote to benefit yourselves. You left out the phone conversations I had with Bill in fact denied them. For the record, you shouldn’t be surprised since we expressed our dissatisfaction at every turn. However, I am not sure how you got Marty Durkin to write the attached letter ( If he actually wrote it ) I am the one that filed the complaint not Marty Durkin. The complaint is on behalf of Hemingway Holdings LLC and Do Real Deals LLC regarding 354 Fort St in Bremen Oh. The person filing the complaint should be the one that Temp Pro reaches out to in determining if “All is Well” and whether we are happy. That person should be ME. Since I filed this complaint I have not heard from anyone from Temperature pro to set up an appointment with me when I could be there. Because of that, I didn’t know that they had scheduled to come out. Marty Durkin is only ¼ of this project and we don’t always communicate. I am the Administrator that gets the bids, files paperwork and pays the bills not Marty Durkin. Since the complaint was filed I have not heard from the owner Sherry or anyone from Temperature Pro. Bill kept calling but didn’t leave a message, and since he seemed to always want to argue I took it that he just wanted to argue some more so I didn’t answer rather waited for a VM that I never received. Alyssa ( who you haven’t mentioned ) is the one that wrote up the bid for an 80k BTU furnace ( her name is on the contract ) because that was what we asked for. She knew in order to get our business that Temp. Pro had to make the lowest bid which we talked about several times and settled upon. We compared the 80 k BTU furnace price. Alyssa was very nice, helpful and pleasant to work with. It’s a shame you fired her. I appreciate that you admitted to changing the contract, however that was never what we asked for or agreed to and frankly, not your place to decide. John was with Alyssa several times when they came to the house so he knew that as well. You don’t just change a contract based on your “years of experience”, you give the customer what they ask and pay for. That is not my definition of GREAT customer service. If you didn’t know how to make cuts in drywall and clean up your messes you should make the customers aware, not just pull it down with your hands, not using a tool and leave it laying on the floor. BTW, my son got a nail in his foot from your pile in the bathroom. We got tired of working around your 3 feet of junk it so we cleaned it up ourselves. It was agreed by the four of us to file to the BBB because I couldn’t get Bill to schedule a time to come out. Temp Pro never contacted me with a date or time but always called my brother for some reason. They always called him to discuss things so at times I was left out of the loop. I didn’t find out until that evening that Temp Pro called him which was after I filed the complaint. It wasn’t until I showed proof to Bill that I had the original contract that they changed their dogmatic tune deciding to come out and replace our furnace. Once they saw that I filed with the BBB however, they decided to come out Friday instead of the following Tuesday which was our objective. Marty Durkin informed me of this change not Temp Pro. Their procrastination was holding up our project and the furnace was running non-stop raising our heating bills. My partners wanted to hire someone else to come out and make the switch then sue Temp pro later if necessary. Thankfully it didn’t have to go that far. The only person that contacted me through this process was Bill Keegan who argued with me on the phone every time we talked He kept asking me prove to them that we had the original contract and continually asking me if I would write something up to give them an A rating if they agreed to replace it. You stated in your letter that my comment about Bill bribing me wasn’t true? Now are you implying that I am a liar? I know the truth and so does Bill. Everything I stated in my complaint was my accurate account! He did just what I said he did. It seems that you care more about your rating than anything else. Previously I filed a complaint about them on Angie’s list and Bill was upset about it. Bill told me he is brand new to the company I believe replacing Alyssa, So he only knew what someone told him. I am sure he was saying what Sherry wanted him to say. He kept asking me to send proof of the original contract to Sherry’s email because he didn’t see one for an 80 BTU. Temperature pro was going to wait almost a week to come out and replace our furnace and we don’t have time to waste. Temperature Pro is the first Company I have ever filed a complaint against, that’s how unprofessional they are. It doesn’t appear that they have learned anything based on their letter. Temperature pro did come out on Friday Jan 5th and replaced our Furnace and took care of some other issues. WOW, what do you know!!! The house is finally heating to the right temperature with the 80k BTU furnace. Amazing! We finally got what we asked for. Temperature pro did finally come out and made things right. Unfortunately, I would not in true faith ever recommend them to anyone. This whole experience has shown them to be dishonest and not customer friendly. I would give them a D rating since they replaced it.

On Tuesday, January 9, 2018 6:56 PM, the co- owner wrote: Temperature pro Installed a new heating and air condition system in the house I am a joint owner of at (client address) This house had some issues with the heating system when the weather turned bitter cold. I called Temperature Pro they were very professional and worked on the issues and they met me that day. He told me they would replace the new furnace with a bigger one. Temperature pro installed the bigger furnace with no cost to us. The house heats great now and they did a professional job. They went above and beyond to fix all the issues we had. I would recommend them with an A rating to any one for heating and cooling. Additionally, below is our response to the above matter: Response to Customer complaint TemperaturePro Columbus is a highly regarded and professional company. We strive to exceed all customer expectations and we are proud that we have consistently done that. When a customer is not fully satisfied, we do everything we can to overcome any concern. Our entire team stands behind these promises. The customer is concerned that we had "torn up their floors and ceilings and made a huge mess that we didn't clean up." In response to this, there were no ducts or heat runs going to the 2nd floor of the home. It was necessary to make cuts/holes in the floor and ceiling to run the ducts. Initially, these cuts were supposed to be cut by the co-owner. After some discussion, it was determined that TemperaturePro would make these holes to run the duct work. Our Operations Manager, discussed the concern about the ability to make cuts into the plaster without damage due to their age and material type. He also expressed that this wasn't our expertise, but we were glad to add that to our job scope. Pertaining to the floors, they discussed the precise location of the cuts into the floors, the reasons that ductwork would be run in the area recommended by TemperaturePro and the pro/cons. The location of the ductwork and resulting cuts in the floors/ceilings were agreed upon by the co-owner (brother/investor) and TemperaturePro. The customer also said we made a "huge mess that we didn't clean up." This home is in the process of a total remodel and is basically a construction site. There was an occasion that both of our company trucks were full of trash, left over materials, etc. Our technician, asked the customer for permission to leave the rest of the trash behind because there was no other place to put it. We would come back to get it on our next visit to the home. She agreed. Our technicians put the remaining trash and materials into a bedroom which was not currently being worked on. The customer is correct that we gave her $750 to pay the contractors to fix the issues. We agreed to do that because we wanted our customer to be as satisfied and happy as possible. Before that, we had agreed to come and fix any issue she had immediately. I was willing to send our entire team and fix any issue she had. We had discussed that with the customer and she agreed that TemperaturePro would repair any concern she had. (Please note: we stand by our work and would like to note again that we had expressed our concern about the plaster falling apart with any cut, by anyone. Additionally, the area of the hard wood to be cut had been agreed upon previous to any work.) We simply wanted to do anything we could to make our customer happy and satisfied. Before we were able to get back to do the requested repairs, the customer contacted us and said she would prefer the contractor working in the house complete the repairs. His charge would be $750. Again, we agreed in the hopes of satisfying our customer and standing behind our promise of satisfaction. Other than this situation, TemperaturePro has maintained stellar ratings and reviews and we receive much of our business via referrals and repeat customers. We even received the Angie's List Super Service Award for 2017. We respectfully request that this complaint be removed as we have met every request of the customer, from the beginning of the job until now. Both owners have thanked us for the furnace and say all is well now. Please see the response from our Database company pertaining to the IT input error. To whom it may concern: We were informed that there was a job completed and an agreement was given to a client. After the job was completed for the client the agreement was changed. ThermoGRID is an automatic system and makes it so companies can save time by not having to create separate orders, invoicing, PO, installer sheets, etc. However the order must be submitted after the agreement is authorized and then the job costing page is updated to prevent the challenge that took place but keep track of work completed. This company is new to using the software and made an honest mistake of updating the wrong area of the system. The company has scheduled more training for the software to ensure they know how to use all the features. After looking into the situation we do believe it to be a mistake and I'm confident the company will resolve the challenge. Thank you, have a great 2018! We consistently did everything both owners requested and we are proud of our team, our experience and our reputation. John and Robert came out after doing some bidding. We found that the exhaust pipe was stuck in between a load bearing wall. Once we found the pipe and got it out, we found that it had disintegrated about 7' or 8'. So the exhaust was just going into the residence rather than out the flue. We told him to just worry about the one area, but John and Robert wanted to redo the carbon monoxide exhaust pipe entirely. I'm glad that they did, they are very professional. I think that they may have saved some lives that day. I happen to be the condo association treasurer and I plan on recommending them as the HVAC company we use for all 22 of our units.

The technicians were extremely professional and were very good with my large dogs. They did a great job of explaining what the capacitor does and why it was a good idea to go ahead and replace it. They were very responsive to our needs and arrived promptly. I am extremely happy with the service that they provided.

It has been wonderful. The technician came out and looked at the house. They explained everything to me in my terms. They gave me options and did not try to hard sell. They came out today and installed everything. They were very clean and cleaned up after themselves. They have been polite and when they are working I do not hear anything I don't want to hear in my house. They showed me everything they were doing. I have put it off for years because i didn't want to put up with it, but it has been a wonderful experience.
