Rosati Windows

Description of Work: This past Fall (2010) we had a new entrance door replaced by Rosati and the work was excellent, as were all the representatives of this Company. I would rate Rosati Windows and Doors Company as top notch.

Description of Work: I find this very odd considering the consistently good reports Rosati receives. However, our experience was quite frustrating. We called for a quote to replace a large picture window. The Rosati representative came and inspected the window to provide a quote. We were told we would receive the quote in a couple business days. Several days passed without receiving the quote. we called to follow-up. our phone call was not returned. we followed up again. no return phone call. Several months have passed and the window has reached the top of our priority list again and we decided to give them one more chance. we called and the very pleasent admin looked up our file and connected us to our representative. we were routed to voicemail, left our information. 5 business days have passed with no response and no return call. We would have loved to do business with Rosati, but clearly they had no interest in doing business with us.

Description of Work: Replaced a very old handle on an old sliding door we had. I searched a long time to find a handle and had no luck until I called Rosati Home Improvement. They happened to have one that worked perfectly in their supplies they keep for situations like this. My handle and door aren't made anymore and can't be ordered or anything. But they had one in store from who knows what and kept it for a situation like mine. I'm cetainly grateful they didn't toss it and were able to use it for my situation. Very helpful, curtious and professional people.

Description of Work: Installed a new sliding door onto our patio. Had French doors and they removed those and installed new sliders.

Description of Work: We used Home Improvement from Rosati for windows two years ago. They fixed a piece of trim for us last year.

Description of Work: Constructed and installed 14 replacement windows. Removed old windows, and installed new, double-hung, double pane windows. Salesman's estimate was the final price. The salesman, the "measuring man", the installers, and the "follow-up guy" all showed up when they said they would. WIndows come with a life-time warranty.

Description of Work: I had some areas on my fence I needed repaired and needed some general repair on my home. He seemed very rushed. He would not give a definitive estimate, only giving a ball-park figure and told me he would call back. He never called back, I called three times and never reached the owner, despite assurances to the contrary that they would call me back.

Description of Work: They came out to do the estimate but didn't call back. I called them and was told I would probably be contacted the next day. I was not. They called back about 2 weeks later with the estimate after the work was already done.

Description of Work: The project was replacement of 14 windows and 1 door wall. We were spending a little extra on the door wall to get high quality, in-window blinds, etc. David Schultz was our sales person. He was extremely helpful, low-pressure, informative, and positive. We elected to go with fiberglass rather than vinyl, otherwise we would have gone with Rosati. We looked at and met with several other companies. ($9,420.00)

Description of Work: Brent Combs came out to give us an estimate on replacing 32 old metal casement windows in our home with new vinyl casement windows. Brent was absolutely wonderful to work with, polite, knowledgeable, and gave no pressure. We fully intended to use Rosati and Brent to do the work but then had an unexpected change in finances that prevented us from doing the work at that time. Since then, my in-laws have offered their assistance under the condition that we use their family friend connection in the window business. We couldn't turn that offer down, but had we been doing it all ourselves, we'd have used Rosati.

Description of Work: WE ASKED THEM TO COME OUT AND CHECK OUR WINDOWS TO SEE IF WE NEEDED NEW WINDOWS. WE HAVE WOODEN WINDOWS AND THEY SAID NO, BECAUSE WOOD WINDOWS ARE TWICE AS EXPENSIVE AS VINYL WINDOWS AND ALL WE NEEDED WAS NEW THERMAL PANES IN SOME OF THE WINDOWS.

Description of Work: ROSATI WINDOWS INSTALLED A 3-LITE SLIDER PICTURE WINDOW THAT REPLACED AN OLD BOW WINDOW.
