Rosati Windows

FANTASTIC! We obtained estimates from other companies and Rosati wasn't the lowest, but they spent the most time with us and seemed the most interested in listening to us and answering our questions. They even took us on a tour of their factory and spent about an hour showing us how their windows are made, why they are such high quality and they introduced us to several of the actual window makers, not to mention introducing us to Mike Rosati himself.

The process took three days and everything was cleaned up to my satisfaction and politely demonstrated the proper use of the products. About two weeks later, a quality control person came out to retest the installation and make some very minor corrections. We have been very pleased to date.

Professional job, cleaned up after themselves.

This was the third of three companies that I checked out before making my decision. All companies were Angie's List members. My first contact was with Steve Love, a professional and knowledgeable salesman. He brought with him a model window and in addition to the quality of the window, pointed out industry standards that the windows are tested against and their warranty. A crew of three (Jason-Lead, Zak and Jeff) showed up on the day and time agreed upon. They worked straight through without stopping for ten hours. Installation of the bay took the most time. They never cut corners, stopping to measure and size up many times during install. After all the windows were installed, Jason went over operation of opening, closing, locking and removal of the screens. He answered all questions and explained the procedure to prepare, stain and varnish the unfinished areas of the bay. All work areas were cleaned upon completion.

I called 4 different companies to get an estimate and they were the only ones to respond to me. They did a very good job. Reasonably priced.

We are very pleased with our new Rosati windows. We appreciated that the salesperson sold through extensive product knowledge, and did not pressure us in any way. The company stayed in contact, letting us know when and what to expect with each step in the process (The entire process took about 10 weeks). The installers were very friendly and professional. The install took 1 day, and they worked very neatly and cleaned up well after themselves.

Great! Erik the salesman was very knowledgeable and helped me find a door that suited my house. The installers were incredible!! Very neat and efficient. The door looks good enough to be in a showroom. They even came back out and re-caulked for no charge after I had my front porch replaced. Everyone seemed very concerned that I was happy. My old hideous, rotting blue door is now a gorgeous fiberglass, wood finish door. No one realizes it is not real wood until I tell them. The transom lets in so much light it was like having my front hallway enlarged as well. All my neighbors have commented on how the new front door has transformed the look of our entire house!

The look is great, the quality is great, but they are too expensive for me. I am unsure that I am going to be able to keep up the replacement of my windows with this company for that reason. The price has risen from $400 to $600 per window. It is extra to match the color of your woodwork and to add grids to your window. Other than that, they are a great company.

My house had the original single pane windows and were falling apart. Rosati came and measured, completed a quotation and I signed. Window production took about 6 to 8 weeks. Installation took about 5 hours. The installation crew was excellent.

I would say it was excellent. They cleaned up everything they did. The service was very good.

Ran estimates, best value for the money. I've had bad window replacements in the past, and this experience was so much better.

GREAT -- it is wonderful. I am VERY happy with the finished product!!! I should have done this years ago.

When they installed the windows they broke a marble window sill, damaged wallpaper, mini blinds and when one window would not open properly they put a drywall screw in the side casing leaving it exposed, sliding glass door handle hits the other door and weather seal is damaged letting water leak in. I ordered white windows and they trimmed all of them in white, but one they did it in brown. I was told the trim didn't come in white. They said someone would contact me for a final inspection in a week and everything would be taken care of. After two weeks I called to see when they were coming, they said in another two weeks when he came out he said everything would be taken care of then he left, three weeks later John V. came out to look at everything again and said everything would be fixed. He left and it has been another four weeks and I have not heard from them.

A representative came out to look at the house. He told me that he would provide a written estimate. A week later I called the office twice asking about the estimate. The job should cost somewhere between $5K and $15K. All I got in return was a brief message on my answering machine that part of the job would cost $280. The rest would be time and materials. No written estimate. No ball park figures. No quote on an hourly rate. No mention about when the job might be done. I got the impression that the company was not interested in doing the job. If that was the case, I would have preferred that they tell me so up front.

They came out quickly and did the work well.

I liked how careful they were. The gentleman put cloth down. He swept up any mess if they made any. They were very quiet also. I was here and couldn't really even hear them. They cleaned up everything, too. They did schedule a walk through to make sure everything was okay.

The entire experience couldn't have been better! Oops, I forgot, I found one nail on the patio when they left!!

Excellent. The worker was conscientious and quick.

Sales force seemed pleasant, had a pretty good reputation in the community. Pretty good windows. Time delays and work quality varied. They seemed very rigid about their work manner. Found flaws in work that was supposed to be "finished." Workers seemed to resent "demands" for quality. Review work plans carefully and put stipulations in writing, even if they don't like it. They need to be sensitive to customer desires and to try to be more accommodating and understanding of the customer's goals. This company was a disappointment before the job was finished. At the start the seemed to be smooth, but if the customer puts some pressure on by questioning work, they resent it.

Keith assisted us in placing the order and getting the process started. Next, Sam came out and measured the windows on two separate occasions, and then John scheduled the installation date. James and his crew came to install the windows.

Work was very professionally done and we love our new windows! The only problem, and it's a minor one, is that our installer was one short of covers for the crank on one of the casement windows. He told us he would bring us one by the end of the week and he even called the next day (5/8) to let us know he hadn't forgotten us. He never made it back, so when we had our QA inspection 6/12, I notified the inspector and he didn't have the correct part available on his truck so he submitted our name to be scheduled for a service call. We are now scheduled to have our crank cover installed 7/6.

SAW THEM AT HOME SHOW, AND TOURED THEIR PLANTS, SET UP FOR MEASURE; NO HARD SALES OR PUSHY SALESMAN [PROFESSIONAL IN ALL ASPECTS]. WINDOWS READY MUCH SOONER THAN EXPECTED. INSTALLERS WERE YOUNGER BUT BEYOND THEIR YEARS IN PROFESSIONALISM, CLEANLINESS, COURTESY. NOT ONLY WOULD I HIRE AGAIN, BUT I WOULD WANT THE SAME CREW, ONLY BECAUSE THEY BECAME FRIENDS! EVERYONE IN THIS COMPANY GIVES UNBELIEVABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

They got back with me in two days with an estimate and sent out the appropriate service people. They did a great job for a great price. The people the sent out were pleasant and professional. I would definitely use them again.

Our price was good since we purchased at 35% off. Workmen cleaned up great & were professional. Warranty was good. Product as of now is good quality.
